Sounds like it - he wasn’t the top dog, so I wouldn’t understand them trying to force him out again when he had little power beyond the day to day production matters. There was some speculation when he rejoined late last year it was to end his career on the show he spent most of his career at. We just didn’t expect it would be this soon. Indeed - now onto the JFP speculation and if she’s filling this role in an uncredited capacity. If this was more of an honorable gesture to Ed Scott, one has to wonder why JFP is possibly back to fill this void uncredited.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA), while not a union, does have rules and regulations regarding membership, conduct, and yes, credits. Assuming she’s a member of course. Being uncredited for what work exactly? Given her years of experience and multiple Emmy wins - why now decide you want to go uncredited for work you’ve done?

I think it shows a lack of imagination from Griffith and the people calling the shots. Yes, there are budgetary and physical limitations, but Griffith and team would rather make the laziest and quickest decisions than put a little more effort into the set situation. That said, B&B also seems to be in a similar set predicament. I know the plans for Y&R and B&B to move to a new studio were put on hold, but maybe a bigger space would remove some of these restrictions and give them more set variety. Someone should definitely revisit those plans.

Yes, she’s spoken about her love for the Supremes and Motown in the past. Once they gave Anita a girl group background, it was inevitable that it would be inspired by the Supremes in some way. They are still by far the most influential girl group in history and their story is rich in drama (hence why we also have Dreamgirls). The way they were marketed and their cross-cultural pop appeal set a standard for almost every female pop act that followed. The Supremes (when led by Diana) scored 12 #1 Hot 100 hits in just over 5 years from 1964-1969 - that’s STILL a record for any American act to this day.

Too many returns, that's when you know a show has run out of ideas and doesn't care anymore. Zoe annoyed the sh!t out of me most times, but the Kat/Zoe storyline will always be iconic and close to my heart (that's the era I first started following the show in near real-time), and probably the only storyline in 21st century EastEnders that had long-term value for the characters involved during their initial run together. However, after all this time and the writing choice that Zoe never wants to see Kat again, I think that ship has sailed and I don't know that it makes sense to revisit it at this point.

I wonder who brought Tracey Thompson in - yes, MVJ was on the same scriptwriting team at GH with her, but I wonder why she felt she needed another Co-HW after the Guza experiment, and why TT of all people.
