Y&R: November 2024 Discussion Board
Yeah, I know they made his Adam more into Chelesa (finally), but it didn't feel odd at all. Same.

Y&R: November 2024 Discussion Board
11-22 Yeah. I felt overall it was an okay week. But compared to last week, it was a less than. Outside of the aftermath of car crash and how it's shifting Sharon's storyline, it just felt like it was there. Back to that 'puzzle pieces' vibe...which I reserve for GH these days actually. lol. I can only assume that it's to build everything up again, but last week had such good momentum. I actually found Giggly Heffa to be a little toned down. At least on her tics. MS felt very controlled even as she was going off on Chance. Surprising me, I kinda liked it. I thought the Victor/Adam/Nick scene was interesting. I've been around for most of Adam being on the canvas outside of Justin Hartley's run so I find him being IDC about Sharon to ring false. It drove Chelesa cray cray in fact. So it was just odd. Nick was in character. And Victor was Victor-ing. hehe. So disappointed Billy and Sally finally slept together. Sad for Sally at least. But I'll give JT this much...he looked good in his blue jeans. Just not here for Billy's pity party. And Adam seeing them as the cliffhanger to the week. Uh oh. Well, preview for next week looked good, focusing on stories I would be more interested in. Hehe. Well...GOOD. 😜

A sad affair all around. He should be popping up on screen one last time, too. I'm not sure how I will feel.

Hehe. It has been slower this week for sure. With the case of Sharon and Phyllis, I didn't mind that because it gives the aftermath of the car crash to gradually unfold. And that has been what I've been finding the most interesting this week. I know what you mean...lol. I don't feel this has been a Sleeps Sweeps this year so yay for that!!! There has been a clear direction since Ed Scott has returned. And I liked that it appeared to show in the writing because for a couple of weeks there, Y&R was THE soap I looked forward to watching Day of the most. If I disliked anything this week, it's been too much Billy. lol. Saying that though, my mind immediately went to the idea of Billy vs Kyle Part 3 given they are both without jobs.

11-21 Uh oh. I saw that look Chance gave when Kyle and Summer were talking. Chance, you are attractive AF. Don't get insecure that Kyle and Summer might get back together. But CF gave good acting today. And I was sorry to see him and Summer arguing. Not unexpected, but sad nonetheless. Expected for sure, but annoying as heck...Billy trying to beg for his job at Jabot. And then making it all about him because Jack didn't want to tell him what's going on. BOY, BYE. I'm so over Billy and his whining and the fact that Victor won over him AGAIN. And I'm sorry Sally is saddled with him. Oh, lord, Giggly Heffa has awaken.

I also have in everything he's been in (and said as such sorry not sorry), but I do continue to feel that if we are going to keep Brennan around, he is being used the wrong way. But the only person who gave him the potential to move beyond a side character was PM. PREACH!!! Perhaps the hidden person (allegedly) who was behind the PM hiring should step in yet again and do this because playing catch up on the thread and hearing how block filming is already hindering the already strong start to this next leg of Lulu's storyline ain't it. LOL. Thank you. Tail end of November Sweeps and it does feel uneven and what would interest me (sam's death, lucky's return, lulu's return, michael vs drew) has been all over the place with no focus. And in the case of Lulu's...now I'm worried we won't even get her, Lucky, and Laura all on frame in the same scene at the same time. Bonus if Nik is roped in. Just ridiculous for a moment that has been years in the making. LOL!!! Oh, your shade!!!! Well when they are allowed to be around each other, I have found Gio and Trina to have chemistry. The only thing that has let them down has been the writing. They keep getting played before with that 'wacka wacka' slapsticky writing that I don't like from these writers. But give them an organic conflict and they are good together. Like the scene where they were outside Bobbie's and had issues over their opinions on Ava. That was good writing and something to build on for them if they were to become a couple given Trina's friendship/history with Ava and Gio's loyalty to Sonny and family. But alas.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Totally. I might do a rewatch between now and next episode. It was soooooo good. I just hope that they did not edit out the Lisa/Mary fight completely. And I am shocked how much Little Girl was giving me life.

2024: The Directors and Writers Thread
Yeah, I saw the weird structure list of writers as I've been playing catch-up and wondered what shuffling is going on. So is JG getting a new co-writer?

11-19 Oh, dear. Outside of the Will/Electra young love scenes, I wasn't feeling any of that at all. So we are really going to character assassinate Carter's character. It's just too hard to swallow for me. Though I love seeing more of LSV. And sadly, he's not wrong about Steffy. But it is a family company so who is going to listen to him. Ugh.

11-20 So far, the highlight of this week has been MG. Daniel has been ON FIRE!!! Lighting into Sharon like a X-mas tree!!! Getting aggressive with Nick. The fury. Like mother, like son. I love it!!! I do love how this all is slooowly coming out about Sharon to others. And like Nick, I want to shake her, too. But that said...I can't help, but feel that this is sooo typical 80s heroine. No benefit of the doubt and being selfless. And my ears perked up when Ward mentioned Sharon's KIDS. So is Mariah about to be roped into more of the story? Yeah, I could care less about Billy outside of Jill. Has she left town? So I was over any scenes of him with Sally, Chelesa, and/or Adam. See, Diane? I told you you should have signed the papers and been sure there were no loopholes in the contract before firing Kyle. What ace does Victor have up his sleeves now? And just to be shady...I know we didn't just bring Elena back to be Giggly Heffa's nursemaid? Cuz... Nope. Can't have that. Billy is the STAR. RME.

- GH: Actor Leaving
Well now looking at the main article if it isn't going to be Robert Adamson, then it's a good idea to rest Michael...have him go aboard to the international ELQ branch like they have characters do on B&B and Y&R when they write out their major characters. And then after awhile, bring him back with an actor of your preference. Heck, given this is coming out now...it makes me wonder if all this mess with him, Sasha, Willow, Drew...is because CD is leaving by end of year at the earliest or this coming January ahead of February Sweeps. Ha!!!- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
BH Now...that I got time...meh. lol. I hate to say it but when it came to the taglines, I think my favorites were Kyle, Garcelle, Dorit, and...shocking...Erika. It was in how she said it more than the tagline itself. Looks good though. And how funny that all the other shows remixed their theme with the new visuals. Meanwhile...BH did not. RHOP YASSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! That mid-season looks great. And to think I was just talking about how the seasons were approaching mid-season for this to drop. lol. And wow at how those tables turned. If it is to be believed...everyone will be coming for Mia and her representative and I'm here for it. RHOA I got what they were going for there, but NO. The Confessionals were on point. And I will always be here for 4th Wall breaking. Just get to the Kenya mess. It really was. I won't be surprised if I rewatch at all. lol. Mmmmm tempting. OMG YES!!! They really were. I wouldn't mind them back. Especially given how much SM has bought up. You know some HW would be messy and bring it into their blog.- GH: November 2024 Discussion Thread
Very. But heaven forbid this show focus on Liz or pairings that work. Lol. IKR. AB played that sooooo well though. Which reminds me...I love that after such a looooooooong time we are getting a Webber/Spencer resurgence. Regardless of the uneven writing, I do love that I got my wish this year and Laura's kids are back in town. 11-20 And at looooooooooong last, LULU!!!! Well, this has been a long time coming for me. And honestly, I really can't get over how much AB favors JMB. It's uncanny. And seeing her outside of a 2 second ending coda? Her vibe is definitely like hers. I see that Spencer fire. I feel that grit. And I saw that people were complaining about the fact that she was in a coma for four years and shouldn't really be able to move. Well, it is a soap. That said...at least the writers played that beat. And it was a good show for showing that Lulu has that Spencer determination. So worth the wait and loving it so far. But as was mentioned a few days ago, fingers crossed this is not going to be like Lucky's return where it takes weeks for Lulu to encounter anyone we would rather see her with. Loved the Jason/Danny scene. And there was a moment when AA had that look that was hilariously real in the 'don't kid a kidder' vein. Well...at least he's improving. I still cite face structure. Well, good to know that Lucas knows that it was not his fault that Sam died. And that said...so...someone did murder Sam. Oooooh dear...guess we are getting 2 murder mysteries for the price of one, huh? But it appeared to be a story involving Elizabeth so I'll take it. I could care less about Kristina so I zoned out on her scenes with Dante. Though I continue to feel for Dante. And Alexis found Sam's will and the kids were left to Drew. Well...I guess the fight for the blended family begins.
