I mean Danny has always idolize Jason even when Jason hasn't been there. So I feel like that thread has always been there for him. That's part of the reason Drew has an issue with him (like father, like son). Hehe at Syndey Bristow.

4-8 This is more like it!!! I said it earlier, but you know I live for Dani/Vanessa scenes. Vanessa was FINALLY acting like VANESSA for me...not some whiny wallflower. And I too am over her saying how Joey makes her feel alive. Dani/Vanessa are so effortless together. All it was missing was a 'Dani LongLegs' shoutout. And OMG at Bill continuing to put the puzzle pieces together about Lynette and Hayley. After watching it...you know what? I want Bill to figure it out and expose Lynette and Hayley. It will bring back cunning Bill. And him figuring it out without Dani anywhere around will keep Dani's hands clean. Since we are not getting that St. Barts location shoot. And he left Tomas on helping figure it out still. The Tomas who continues to know too much. I just continue to feel it's leading to his exit storyline. Or that could just be my attempts to manifest it. God, I love Lynette. But those whole scenes of her vs Hayley was giving me 90s DAYS OF OUR LIVES blackmail scenes so you know I was living. And then her at the end with Vanessa behind Hayley's back. Uh oh now. OH...? I'm talking about the Ted/Nicole scenes. Part of me enjoyed it. Part of me felt my 'Spidey sense' twitching since Ted came into Nicole's office with that UPTOWN bag. And what was the point of building up Ted/Shanice and even winning the audience over to liking him for him to say that Shanice was more into him than he was into her? SINCE WHEN??? I found that piece of dialogue jarring. Outside of that, I did like the conversation. Due to the abruptness of them having one on one scenes about their current relationships, I couldn't help but think about @Broderick 's running theory about the point of the plasma ring. I saw a snippet of talk today of today's episode which also is making me think you are on the money as well. I mentioned yesterday that while I don't like the plasma ring storyline itself, I do like that it does seem to be creating the potential for juicy fallout drama once it's over. I just want it...well...over. Off-screen thing of the episode...the missed opportunity of having LAUREN FENMORE ON BEYOND THE GATES. Even if it is on a video call a la Jill Abbott Foster's appearances sometimes on Y&R. HOW???? And Kat idolizes her, too? Suuuuch a missed opportunity. I am happy that the meeting went well and ChelseaKat will continue to grow though. It's really the only sign of business on this show currently and I will never not be TeamKat. Speaking of... ...LOVE the Nicole/Kat scene. For once, it felt like a mother/daughter scene and not a scene to prop up another character. And Kat came across as the mature one. Which made it funny during the Chelesa vs Kat quarrel. And I laughed when Anita showed up and gave them that black grandma voice that I know all too well. And they got quiet as church mice. Also continue to love Kat/Bill scenes. It seems like thanks to Hayley, they will be keeping Kat in his orbit. I'm not against that. Nor am I against the show continuing to tease her story beat during Chels' kidnapping connection to Joey. I know I'm in the minority, but we have been overdue another Dupree family moments. I do like they mentioned that not everyone was there, but they still had a cute little moment together. We got so many of them during the first year. I don't want them to completely vanish. It's a nice reminder of them being family and they come across as a real family, not just 'the Duprees.' I liked the episode so much, I watched it again. It has been a minute. Fingers crossed this is the start of the build toward momentum for May Sweeps, proving they are still using the writing technique from last year like I've mentioned before.

Let me take a moment to holler at Cane being broke...which he should have been in the first place when he ran into Lily as a WORKER at Dumas.

Yeah, PC did shot 6 months in advance in order to save on cost. And they developed enough of a history before the supernatural started that could have been brought over to GH.

Like I said, the best thing about RHOM has been that those ladies don't go on break because they still be living life and getting into drama. Cameras should be on them all year around. Bring back my Telenovela Housewives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4-7 Yeah, I can see why the comments I read on this episode made it sound boring. The highlight was easily Darlene vs Silk Press Sheila. Seeing Martin with Smitty just made me realize that we really have not seen a lot of Martin as of late. And at least we got some flirt time from them. And @DramatistDreamer we were just discussing the June/Samantha angle in the cotillion storyline. I was looking forward to the addition of Donnell to the mix, but if any Samantha/Francsseka rivalry is going to be off screen for now, I think I don't want Samantha/Donnell after all.

I'm sure they will be fun. However, it could also be a step backwards after such a great refreshing season. Monique just might...going off of what Cheap said.

The reverse for me. I have lived (and danced) to the Miami opening music waaaaaay too much over the years. But I do love the dramatic soapness of SLC

Mmmm Livvie Locke...woulda coulda shoulda. Hehe. I don't give Frank much often, but this is something else that I do like about him. And I loved how you found ways to incorporate PC back into GH proper and still be respectful of the people who liked PC.

Still a favorite of mine for those two as well. He is still Dead Man Walking, but finally for a moment, I saw it for Carly and this version of Brennan.

4-6 Well it was...different. Overall though I liked it. When BTG started, I said that I liked Naomi and Jacob. Every soap needs that good guy/good girl couple. The policeman and the lawyer. Both of whom could be useful to plot for sure. And they had started so well with Naomi's issues with Bill and the potential lawsuit that never was to give us a glance into what makes Naomi tick. Then we got Jacob and his hero worship of his father Elon who was the CoP...a family full of law enforcement (sidenote...I can't wait to meet Luke down the road). Which made it more delicious that Elon was dirty and in cahoots with the neighborhood gangster. And it was clear that Naomi and Jacob loved each other since they go at it regularly. Both are loyal to their families, too...to a fault. So there is the makings of good drama IMHO. That said...and as much as I like them. I just don't like the plasma ring storyline. It feels disjointed. And no amount of love for Jacob hides that from me. Perhaps the writers thought it was a good idea to pair up Smitty/Jacob who (like Jacob/Kat) made a good snooping team last year. But last year their snooping had to do with a story that involved a good amount of the canvas. This...not so much. I mentioned that I do look forward to the fallout from it because the story at least is good at setting it up. But the story...a drag. I would rather focus on the more traditional soap story of Naomi keeping the secret she has the gene from everyone BUT Ashley because there is potential for soapy drama there. That said...this episode was good at filling in the blanks for the love story of Jacob and Naomi. And I would like to think that it continued to show what makes them tic. It even showed the Izaiah/Elon wedding fight that we heard so much about. Which I liked seeing Lami being a different (and honestly slightly more interesting) version of Izaiah. I did expect the fight to be...well...a fight. But it was interesting to me all the same. And to have Darlene there...you all know I was living. There have been discussion all the time about there being a second family. I always felt given how it was set up over the last year that the second family was going to be the Hawthornes. And well...here we are. This episode also showed a hint of Darlene being...well...bougie...funny for someone who is upper middle class. But if there is going to be a second family, there needs to be conflict with the first family. And I see the potential is there. Though I wonder how this would fit in with the narrative that Anita and Darlene get along, but I guess we will see. Add on the Bellclaires for true bougieness and another rival family if the Bellclaires cannot cut it, and I think the show would be a show. I also loved how the flashback showed some things in a different light for me. Like so much can be said for how Ashley looked then versus now. It put a whole new light on how she was in Episode 1 and happy to have her dream job. Cuz she dressed so much like her mother and still was idealistic about Paris. I am curious if JT is going to pop up. It was great to see Bill and Dani in their old ways. The wigs!!! I guess my only concern was that I see the point of the episode. To show the love between Naomi and Jacob. And it was cute. And I did like it. BUT...well...lord...they suuuuuure are clingy. lol. I get the fears of the undercover cop. And GH has already done time and time again a story about a wife always concerned for her husband being in a state of danger due to being a policeman. But I guess given who her father is, I expected Naomi to be more...stoic? And for Jacob...while it's been established that Naomi made him a better man and how he idolized Elon...Jacob has come across a little too whiny in missing his wife. It's been only weeks. I would expect that over MONTHS. Timeline wise that is.

You are a stronger man than me. I still haven't finished 4-7. Yet. Don't get me started on Damian. The story that made me drop the show. Well the lame twist and unnecessary legacy deaths that made me drop the show. I admit...I have watched the Holden/Audra scenes at least. And I too was 'they are STILL talking about story? Hasn't it been two years now?' Just ugh.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I liked them all, but I agree that there was nothing really standouts for me. Hopefully, they get better for Season 2 in terms of giving them that HW oomph. Like you...if I had to pick favorites...I too would say Jo-Ellen and Alicia. It had a hint of favor coming through. I like the quirky theme song, but I'm bias. NJ should be scared though.

It's been wacky, good, AND campy with several storylines going on again...do come in. ;) Now people loved when Quinn pushed her into the Seine River. Okay, I'm joking. lol. I really and truly love that 'it's not proper' caught on like the catchphrase it is. I've definitely have been loving this Ivy. I can't wait to see what she does next.

I miss Sigmund. I feel like Sigmund vanished and then got a mention from Lucy that he passed when she returned to GH under RC, but I could be wrong. I agree with all of this. Especially the very first paragraph. One thing that I have loved has been even with the writing...the vets know their characters so well that the audience can still seem the character in them. Lucy, Tracy, and at one point even Anna comes to mind for me. I will never not be in awe how much Sonny and Carly (shockingly with Carly to be honest) seem so much background now even though so much is going on that does effect them. Reactive over proactive. ETA: Harp on Patrick Mulachey all you want. You know I do. Because you are right. And we are STILL dealing with the crumbs of stories he largely started.
