  1. And as expected...Brad is on his way back. Sorry Lucas/Marco.
  2. Love this statement as well as Genie Francis's which gave me chills.
  3. The gasp I let out at the library earlier as I was working on my writing projects. I about broke down. I can't believe both of the Spencer duo are gone. Bobbie was my favorite so that tore me off. This...just...this hurts. Count me in for not messing with his death, but I do hope they do something with him on screen. Good and bad, Anthony Geary made Luke a force of nature and I can think of so many times when he enhanced so much story onscreen. I remember Luke leaving or returning to town to accommodate Anthony's vacation was always an event. Latter Years Luke wasn't a favorite, but Anthony Geary still had moments for me. R.I.P. HUGS
  4. That he does, that he does. Like I've said...Y&R's loss was GH's gain.
  5. I can't decide if I feel that's a red herring or just a rewrite.
  6. Can I just say that I love seeing Trina as this hellcat? Tabyana Ali gives great feistiness. In her tone. In her body language. Even if it is just a plot device due to Jordan, she's been fire.
  7. I always felt if they wanted a lead story for Ashley, all they need to do was lean into her job. There's been a few times when she had potential. When SPS tried to kill Laura at the hospital and Ashley was the nurse. It could have been a frameup and she had to prove she was not in the wrong, forcing her to deal with her feelings about what she called the dream job. Especially since there was that one male doctor that was picking on her that Shanice stood up to. Another time was her realizing Hayley didn't have the ultrasound done. What if she had done more. And there have been some fine male doctors on the show if they want to put her in a romance down the road.
  8. RHOP Now that I got some wiggle room...let me talk about some of the episodes I've seen. In this case...Gizelle's Reasonably Shady anniversary and the non-appearance of Juan's Roommate. Not to mention Monique's return and how it litters the show. This season has been so good so far. And Monique's return has just added layers to everything. From hearing about her journey since then to the connections she already had (she knows Cookie, too?) to long anticipated meetings with the vets on the show, it was almost like she never left. Or for me, it made me think about Dr. Nicole's appearances on the latest season of RHOM though she was not a regular member. She FIT. A good return so far. Not that all of her storyline has been great *cough*StaceyChris*cough*, but her experience of being a Housewife helps her well. Even Karen feels like she has a storyline going on through Cookie and it's the fact she's AWAY that is the kicker. As for Gizelle's Reasonably Shady anniversary...Wooow. The Stacey/Chris storyline kept going and led to Stacey/Wendy tag-teaming on Keiarna/Angel was something that I won't soon forget. Stacey taking on Tia, Keiarna, AND Cookie was crazy and made a great cliffhanger because she really handled all of them. Second season curse...WHERE? And then all shade toward Juan's Roommate was welcome cuz why you being a Bitter Betty and not showing up to your own event when it was YOU who was the reason you are no longer on the show? GIRL, BYE. A good set of episodes that definitely felt like a great two-parter...and worked. GIZELLE. So...a rift between her and her BFF? Hmmm. I only say this because I saw a clip today where said BFF acted (?) like she didn't know Gizelle was cross-promoting for WICKED. And now this about her not wanting to film. It is funny since Production could easily edit her all the way out like Cha Cha at Wendy's event in Season 5. She can stay butthurt. Meanwhile, Gizelle continued to have surprises. She had a man there, sprung a man from LOVE HOTEL out at the event. Made sure to get a dig in on Stacey during the chaos. And of course, setting off Wendy vs Angel...which I loved. Still having a good season. WENDY. 'You got smoke for me?' OMG!!! I was LIVING for Wendy. Her twerking in-between an arguing Keiarna and Stacey is an image that I won't soon forget. Once Gizelle lit the match on Wendy vs Angel, Wendy TORE...HER...OFF. She had so much quotable moments. I hollered when she told Angel no one want her there. I REALLY hollered when she told Angel trying to have a moment and fell flat. And Angel deserved it so I can't hate on that. I can hate on any time Wendy talks about money though. Her wanting to do that whole remodel when...you know...I have no words. And it's nice to see her ability to have Stacey's back in subtle ways within scenes. And still picks on Stacey to her face...like a real friend. Something I felt they solidated by walking into Gizelle's event together. And then having Monique's back in ways. I was surprised given the last time they were around each other was the Season 5 reunion. So good to see them bond. ASHLEY. She will always get a lick in on Stacey. lol. That said...I didn't like how she felt a way about Josh. Her scenes with her mother though did resonate. This December has my mother in my feels. And that worries me. Because she won't always be there. I felt that from Ashley. KEIARNA. I feel so weird about her to be honest. I know the thing to do is to not like her. But...I do. I know...I'm in the minority. Perhaps for me, it's the fact that I see everyone's points about her. And it's clear it's that second season curse for me. BUT...she keeps me entertained. Even when she's getting roasted...which is all the time. And not being boring like Juan's Roommate. She's been at Stacey since the start of the season so her being gathered by Stacey was great to watch. And we know she has hands thanks to Sesame Street, so she has no right to get offended. And Keiarna has been the bone collector...for better and for worse. Meanwhile, she does have a personal storyline outside of the drama. Though I'm leaning toward her mother and her suspicions about Greg. Cuz he asked her to move in with him again? Really? Everything about that makes me go hmmm given how he was last season. Oh...and then that FOINE brother of hers...mmm. TIA. I see you, girl! I still love her, but I saw her stirring the pot a little bit between Wendy and Angel for sure. Meanwhile, I felt she was more genuine with Wendy, Stacey, and Temu because Stacey did lie. Even Production is backing that up. I also felt Wendy should understand why Stacey might not want her man around the ladies given the history of husbands on this show. That said...Stacey made herself look guilty not only by lying AGAIN, but coming for Tia at Gizelle's event. That said...Tia held her own. ANGEL. The only good thing about her is that foine thicc husband of hers and her sister cuz GIRL, WHAT IS THIS??? Did you not learn the first time you told your business to Gizelle and she ran with it. Then Gizelle did it again??? Le sigh. smh. And Wendy destroyed her. She really should have kept her mouth shut. I just can't believe how she continues to fail as a first-time Housewife by making all the wrong moves. STACEY. And still...SHE RISES!!! And I see it. Stacey and her potential takedown has been the central storyline for the most part. And...WHERE? lol. She has been handling herself so well. And her taking on Tia, driving Keiarna crazy, and dismissing Cookie is major Housewife energy. It's just sad that she continues to do questionable things. I wished she would just be honest about her ex-husband. Like I said, given how this group act with husbands, she has been in her right to keep him away. And stand on that. But I guess that would take away from the fun of her. That said...I also did not like her coming for Tia. And then all the stuff with Chris. Good to see her and Monique deal with the rest of that storyline quickly. I also like she has people in her corner now like Wendy and Jassi...who I am happy to see is still around post-wedding. This continues to be a great season. And it does seem to have...so far...avoided last season's trap of where it started off great, had that slow middle, and then got good again at the end. May it continue to do so.
  9. I also said the same about the shooter. But...better late than never.
  10. She works in the hospital scenes when interacting with Shanice and the other characters.. and could be used effectively in medical stories... but the Mary Sue persona is what needs to go. With Dani/Andre taking off, I think the writers are trying to figure out what to do with Ashley.. and perhaps maybe keeping her in a supporting role or focus more on her family background would help. Great minds.
  11. I suuuuuure do!!! :) I admit that I've wondered that as well. And I truly believe this story of Tomas trying to make Kat his wife for status is going to wind up being his exit storyline because Kat (and Eva) both have history and chemistry now in the actor playing Izaiah. I feel that as well. Ashley was an early fave of mine when the show started. And I liked the actress. But the writing did her NO favors. But that's the thing. Thanks to Chris mentioning Karla's comments, we know that the show has finally made it beyond the filming point where the show has hit the online/audience feedback. And they have and/or are making adjustments like the soaps used to do BITD. I was happy to hear that the other day because I've been saying for months that MVJ seems so focused on Bill/Dani and Andre/Ashley as endgame when the real fire was Dani/Andre so no need for his feelings for Ashley and Bill with his chemistry and drama with Dani makes a classic soap triangle. Moreso (Bill/Dani as endgame) since the show went out of its way to give Dani and Bill separate storylines so we get to see their character development instead of Hayley who got no development until recently. Meanwhile, Ashley works best in supporting vs the lead the writers were making her out as. And they can do so much better with her in that department by growing Ashley up through her 'dream' job as she called it.
  12. EXCUSE ME??? I'm not even caught up yet and what is this I hear about eye lices? Cuz WHEN I get there, early apologies for the rant I will be going off on.
  13. That tickled me to no end. I don't think they could ever make me hate Kat. THIS. Same. I watched that episode and just rolled my eyes so hard.
  14. Lol. I bet Hayley has wanted to do that for a while, too.
  15. Oh yeah...There have been a few rare times Nick and Lily have been around each other and seen those two have surprisingly chemistry. It did seem like the show might even go there, but alas. In any case, it would be funny if they did that now given Lily vs Giggly Heffa has been happening for the last year.
  16. I may not care for the show, but I'm happy for Hilary James Scott.
  17. Dare I put it out there...if Cane/Giggly Heffa is going to be a thing, could they circle back to Nick/Lily so Giggly Heffa's head can explode?
  18. :P I KNEW IT!!!! I've been said the story was going to be Dani/Bill/Hayley. And how the story was developed Hayley was clearly a spoiler since Dani and Bill got more development (and side stories) than her. Dani/Andre was a happy accident (that and @kalbir were on board for from go) and the show realized that. Loved it or hated it, people were talking about it. And now, just about everyone has come around to it. Lightning in a bottle. And now it's Bill/Dani/Andre and audience is still talking AND still split. Love it. Add on The Hamilton Widow © @Maxim doing Kristen Dimera circa late 90s and the story has so much legs. I would say the same for Andre/Ashley and have said that as well. And the audience...WAS...NOT...HAVING...IT. Though I did love the Dark Derek storyline (and I believe Vee called that happening from go), it did turn abruptly back to Aw Shooms Derek again quick. Good to see this show can course correction. And some confirmation it did in the case of Dani/Andre.
  19. Hehe. I giggled at her slapping Bill today. Such an AIRPLANE and soap move.
  20. Okay...THAT took me aback, but I think it is the tiredness of my eyes. LOVE this new design with the Titles and the activities of the sections. I can't wait to see if it translates to my phone...which has been a bit dicey on the update.
  21. Two things because it's been a busy day. ONE...Goooood GV is soooooooooooo darnnnnnn HOOOOT. TWO...I suspect that I will like this episode when I rewatch it. I'm liking it, but it just has that vibe like last Monday did where a lot was going on that I liked and I want to appreciate it when I'm not busy AND tired. THREE...The scream I let out at work...and the looks my co-workers gave me when I saw we had...FEBREZE. hehe.
  22. Look at Procter and Gamble! Truly trying to get back in the soap game!
