  1. Yeah, now that I thought about it after a few days...my bad!!! This is his second one I believe. I do feel after the first two episodes of this week, that momentum appears to be back and building. I just wish...and I know that I am beating a dead horse...that they would focus on either an A story or a solid B plot or even just an event of the week with side stories. Right now, it just feels too 'all side stories' at the moment when the best weeks so far have been either focusing on an A story of the week, solid B plot (Doug/Vanessa/Joey) or an event (think Chels's kidnapping)...any of them surrounded by interesting side stories and/or character development. I am still enjoying and it seems like it has its rewatch value back with me (I can't wait to rewatch Monday for example), but I just need some...more?...I guess. Yeah, Vanessa and Joey seem like they are just cameoing to me IMO rather than the solid B story they (and Doug) turned into. They took a break once the Donell part of the story ended...and just never truly recovered.
  2. And it was saved (even with JG own story shift rotation) by Eileen Davidson's ability to turn straw into gold than any of those other stories. I agree. I didn't expect much, but what little of him I saw, I like his version.
  3. Not Hayley pulling a card from 90s Sami's playbook and trying to get Andre to her side a la Lucas to break up Austin/Carrie...I mean Dani and Bill. AND him falling for it. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  4. Taoboi replied to YRBB's topic in Off Topic Lounge
    lol
  5. YES. I rewinded. Long overdue and first time I felt he outacted her, too.
  6. OOooo new Breakdown Writer??? And....is that the foine friend of Derek who brought him to the hospital after the accident?
  7. IN: BTG 12/2 episode has Michael Montgomery as the Breakdown Writer for the first time. Who has the tea?
  8. That was a good episode from start to finish. I suspect I will love it on the rewatch. That said...I also loved the new(?) ominous music cue that popped in the last half of the episode. I don't think there has been anything like it since the SPS causing Laura's accident reveal.
  9. Hayley. But there are plenty of bubbles running around on this show. So I understand.
  10. FINALLY!!! I don't know what I love more...Derek letting Ashley have it or Shanice having a front row seat for it all.
  11. Hehe. Great minds. I was always rooting for Lucas. With her. With Original Taylor. With Sami.
  12. Yaaaaassss I remember that curly hair. lol. Not you bringing up Jamie. I loved Jamie. And yes, she did walk so Mimi could run. I always thought that as well. Jamie vanished after hints of her finally maybe going after her crush on Lucas. And a drink in the face from Sami for helping Nurse Lynn expose her if I remember correctly.
  13. Hahahahaha!!! THIS is why I love Dani/Vanessa scenes. That said...with Guza out the door and since Doug's death/Donell's visit...Vanessa's storyline has lost some a lot of its momentum.
  14. Can I take a moment to say how FOINE Brandon Clayborn is looking as he wears this coat (versus the coat wearing him? hehe)?
  15. I agree with all of this. I liked the stereotypical brute myself and didn't expect much other than the typical story. Then Chad came in...and you felt the chemistry from the first frame with AT's Emily and was for them in spite of myself. And YES to that Rebecca ending. Lord...Chad has aged so well.
  16. Perhaps with us finally approaching the end of the Season 1 episodes...things are going to seriously move.
  17. Cuz you know I've been waiting impatiently to see them while their show has been THE show this season... GIZELLLLLLLLLLLE!!!!!!!!! WENDYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! WHERE'S THE SHADE??? Lol.
  18. Even though I don't regular watch right now, I do get a grin at how much Esther has popped every few times I pop in, too.
  19. To be fair, I remember both and liked both. Also you are proving my point. ;P Because they would have complained if she immediately got story from the jump like soap audiences always do with new characters. By the two year mark, she earned having a story about her because FF truly made Mimi hers.
  20. RHOP Well, just like she was there for us when Karen was on trail...she's at it again, giving minute to minute detail on Wendy and Eddie in court, too!!! weigopodcast (@weigopodcast) / X
  21. Yeah, I agree. I remember FF was accepted pretty easily. And that was helped by the writers doing what you should do with a new character...letting the audience get used to them SLLLLLLOWWWLLY before giving them major story. Yes to Bree because she looked so much like Erin Tropey then that people were doing double takes. David...Uuuuhhh I don't remember it that way, but I'm probably wrong.
  22. Yeah, I saw that preview of this week and having us go through Eric vs Ridge AGAIN??? REALLY? UGH.
  23. Coming into December and.... @Taoboi you need to watch yesterday's episode, the Sinn and Taylor scenes were good, it was a good episode, and the kids are so cute! And replying to @dragonflies 's post. hehe. It's that time of the year for me and I'm also going through a business transition at the same time so I'm really not at home with a lot of time to watch stuff outside of Sunday (for now) so you know I had to watch it before it deleted off my system early this morning. You were so right. That was a cute Thanksgiving episode and something different for B&B outside of the roundtable of 'What are You Thankful For?' I didn't mind it at all. And Sinn's kids were so cute. I liked the apron joke. And I even giggled at the soapiness of getting Finn shirtless even on a holiday. I was surprised to see Daphne, but we know I like her so I didn't mind. I WAS shocked that Carter and Deacon actually get along now. Were they not just fist-fighting a few months back? Just...woooow. And I liked that there was a silver of Taylor/Deacon/Sheila throughout the episode. For once, I might actually care what Ridge thinks when he finds out.
