5-15 Well, it was fun while it lasted. My big worry was that at some point that Brad Bell would get bored of the awesome momentum he managed to get over the past several months. There was so much good going on. He even made the Logan vs Forrester stuff feel fresh...an issue I had a few months ago when after temp shifting the focus to the Spencers only to get back to the Forresters with stale plot. So Hope using Brooke to get Ridge to give her Steffy's job...been there, done that. Went nowhere. I was not here for even with the great acting from JMW's Steffy calling Ridge out. I tried to overlook the repetitive dialogue being back. It happened a few times during the refreshed storylines, but the story kept moving. Now...it seems to be back in story build-up mode. So Electra and Dylan going in circles. Hope and Liam going in circles. Brooke and Hope going in circles. It made me get the uh oh. The only thing that saved the week for me...besides shirtless Finn starting the week...was Steffy verbally going off on Ridge. JMW always, always, ALWAYS gives good bitca. This was no different, but I was on her side even though last week I was shaking my head at her for laughing in Hope's face. And also saving the week...Ridge telling Brooke NO. I was just as surprised as Brooke. And of course...the Friday cliffhanger with Remy. I want to see where the story goes and see Deke so BRING IT. Zende going off will always seem meta to me given how this show chooses to write its black characters. Overall, I hope this current week was better, but it feels like my prediction of Brad Bell getting tired mid-May might be true.

Yeah, yesterday's episode was easily the weakest of this week's episodes. I am pro-Ashley for the most part, but I was really so much GIRL, SHUT UP. And while I hate the plasma ring storyline, I did love the fallout so far. But...how is it Lia doesn't know who the Impaler is?

lol. True. I didn't dislike as much as most, but I did like that her face cracked when Robin walked into that church.

You know what? I CAN'T!!! GH started May Sweeps with a Bang! And I've been enjoying the twists and turns. But right now...I'm sorry NO. It's giving me whiplash rescimicent of my feelings and thoughts in January about what the show direction will probably be this year. Val as the action hero...NO. Ethan's return...FLOP. And I am loathing both of the stories they are trying to start with him (not the actor mind you). I am HEATED at this Ric story so far cuz catch up. Nina...I expect more cunning from her but that brings me to part of my irritation...those writing tics have arrived back in full form. And we all know how much I LOOOOVE those. And sorry...you can't have it both ways with Fathan. Victim one minute, but doing something the villain they were clearly setting up to be one in the first place that makes all bets of being pro-Cassius void. It's giving coughPeterAugustcough And frankly (pun unintended) NOT AGAIN. I don't give a good kitty how hot RP is...and yes I do enjoy the shirtless moments, but no. I'll be back with more details. Perhaps it's because BTG has been on point this week that the GH shift stands out to me, but just NO. Good things I do like: Liz/Dante, LW's hair has been on point, Ava/Ric.

And almost a FT Housewife before Claudia Jordan snatched her peach on RHOA. hehe. I liked Demetria.

Well given this show's history with post-credit scenes and what I said about the next week synopsis last week, I do hope we are about to get a Friday Cliffhanger that's a doozy then. But going back to speculation...what if Doug is alive AND that is Nicole's patient?

Sidenote...it's nice to see Martin and Smitty as a gay couple...even dancing in public...and no one bats an eye.

Probably cuz I've stopped ranting about it. ;) Down to the original actress and all. I was so surprised at how it followed what you thought down to the letter. But ugh. The start of my taking a long break from Y&R. Sealed by killing off Cole, abandoning one of their most dynamic black actor/character in ages, and killing off Chance. She was sooo shocked. I read the article, too. So foolish.

While I'm thinking about it before work... So is the scene with Nicole the start of a C plot or just a story turn? Could after all those fantasies she's been having and Ted following her? Is Nicole going to have a moment of weakness after dealing with her distressing patient and her and Ted sleep together a la one night stand?

So much truth. I came after the fact due to living in an area of the South that didn't have MTV so I didn't see THE REAL WORLD until I was at college. And my first season (though I caught up quickly due to MTV back in the day re-airing old seasons like how they do that story pranks and purpose accidents whatever show they do now) was Boston with Genesis. And as a poor background double minority, I didn't care that it was a female. I never felt so seen or related. By her and Kameelah tbh. New Orleans with Danny was another experience. And then to finally watch San Fran with Pedro. They were all so normal and I didn't feel out of place anymore for maybe liking someone who was not the norm in my area of the world or living life and seeing there is more life out there or being in an actual relationship.
