  1. Yassssssss to yesterday's ending!!! That felt completely well earned. And worth the wait. Samantha looked lovely. Not chained to a bed. LMAO! But it sounds like today is going to be another good episode, too. Can't wait to watch later.
  2. A good Kat vs Eva scene, too? YES, PLEASE.
  3. I hope that I'm not going to make anyone angry with the gusting that I'll be doing this week...cuz not even finished with yesterday's episode and I already know that I'm going to be rewatching it later in the week. FAVE LOOKS (so far): ANITA (And you betta make an entrance, gal!!!!!! I was like Dauuuuyumm!) and KAT. But I believe everyone around these parts know how I feel about ponytails...especially if there is a diva toss (the look Kat gave when Samantha said they should getting dressed there should be enough. For now. hehe). But I loved all of them!!!! But what I'm really loving...is the cotillion FRONT AND CENTER like the main story it should be while the plasma ring storyline so far this episode is solid B plot and it works in that place. And I love Jordi really selling that love for Ashley. And she had a nice diva/heroine turn in that scene that I loved. THINGS THAT INTRIGUED... Interesting they are playing that beat that when Hayley appeared that she said she was an orphan. Back then, I had hoped that given her monologue about not having kids, that Mona might be her mama. Now, I do wonder if Hayley really is an orphan or is that trump card to play to get her out of her con trouble. Is there something brewing between Dani and Chels? Cuz they really have had a few times when they have talked about mom/daughter boundaries now. It was definitely interesting during the first year. And I just don't feel it's coming back up now without reason. Foreshadowing? I am hollering at the fact that NewTed is wearing OldTed's tux. But I loved all of them (hey, Brandon, hey!!!!). And if a certain himbo is not long for this story world much longer per speculation at least the cameraman is getting all the good angles before that occurs.
  4. ICON!!! Not Narnia catching a stray! Aslan would die all over again.
  5. Indeed. Currently side-eying Ethan and Sonny.
  6. Same. I am ready for Lucas to go full on gay and Ava slap the taste out of Pascal's mouth. DUDE...HE...NEVER...LIKED...YOU!!!. Also same. It was nice to see a different kind of soap gay couple. With chemistry to boot. Hahahahah
  7. Taking a deserved break...and I really loved them as well...while the other storylines get some movement. Oooooo I like this. Especially since I am hoping Deke winds up over at Logan somehow. I'm still mad he didn't with Eric as mentor. This would be even juicier.
  8. @Antoyne Ric, Liz, and these flowers...lol.
  9. There was just a shooting/hate crime at the Islamic Center here so no live posting today. So I put prayers out for the families, thankful no children were harmed, and will post today's episode when it eventually uploads...more than likely...I'm app-ing. Until then... 5-15 Yeah, I thought the rest of the week was just...okay. It was nice to see the return on-screen of the cotillion storyline by the return of Belleclaires. And I like that...dare I say it...there was the slightest hint of momentum again. Fingers crossed it keeps going into this week. I respect the scene of Anita and her follow-up. I expect the cancer part of her story to be a bit more background until the date the doctor gave aka mid-June around when that crossover is supposed to happen I believe. Enough time for Anita to get back to normal and read some folk. Like I said above, I'm happy to see the cotillion storyline back on-screen. And one thing that I liked was seeing the Smitty/Martin family unit again. We used to get so many scenes of them all together just being a family. So it's nice to have them back...conflict and all. If it isn't Ty being mad at Samantha over the double standard or Samantha feeling the pressure of being like the other Debs...it's seeing Smitty and Martin so close knowing there's a ticking time bomb going off with them due to Smitty's involvement in the plasma ring storyline. And of course, I liked Nicole/Samantha vs Anastacia/Francisca. I really liked that Samantha got some good licks in, but I am sad she ran off. And Nicole...let me smh like some of the comments I've seen. She should have lunged at the old bag. I liked Samantha got a pep talk though I do question that it came from Eva instead of Kat. SHUT UP, VANESSA. lol. Nicole don't want to be like you. That said...I just smh at how flustered Nicole is getting around Ted. I still don't feel he's s&*(. And it wasn't helped by all this stuff with Shanice's aunt. So NOW Ted can't be a man and articulate himself to a hard-working woman? Really? I was happy to see Shanice's aunt though. But...I'm no longer on the Ted/Shanice train since it now appears that Ted and Nicole are circling each other. Seems pointless. And even if Ted and Nicole do the tango again, it would just send Silk Press Sheila over the edge. I don't mind that....mind you since I feel Nicole vs SPS gives more than SPS vs Anita and feels more evenly matched IMHO. And I feel Nicole does give when they have their catfights which I believe is the minority opinion. Speaking of Vanessa...waaaaay to overstep with Joey. If that brings their issues to the surface though...SO BE IT. They have been C plot themselves too long since Doug's death. I do think it is interesting timing to see Donnell finally have more of an issue with Joey again though. I am also side-eying the continued mentions of Joey's sister...given how Joey is already a polarizing figure around here. Like several of the other characters, I miss when Mona was more of a 3D/gray character. Her loving the church was A PART of her character, not ALL of her character. Now I just roll my eyes. Though I'm always happy to see more Randy. We all know I'm ready for the plasma ring storyline to end. So good to see Marcel basically calling Lia out. And I did love the soapy near-miss Grayson had with Eva...which actually built some suspense with me. I also like Jacob got a clue. And Ashley is coming across smart with Lia. But again...the writing, the writing, the writing. All this time they made it seem like Lia was the Impaler...though tbf I don't think it was said on-screen she was which makes this storyline even worse...but now she actually answers to higher people and...I zone out. Be done already. That it appears to be going on at the same time as cotillion...will be a le sigh from me. But I hope the writing and acting will get me through it as I long for the cotillion build-up.
  10. Thanksgiving is going to be a mess. Shivers. But I understand. There's a reason we were all worried about BTG being renewed after all.
  11. Oh, lord...not Ethan being used to put another target on Lulu's back as an enemy of BLQ.
  12. Oh, very. The tweets and thoughts I've sseen. At least I have some confidence that GH won't go that route.
  13. That has crossed my mind, too. It's also part of the reason I feel it will come back into play by the end of the year. Perhaps once Sonny is able to free Laura from Sidwell's blackmail.
  14. But I liked what little I saw of Our House. Then again...my avatar speaks for itself.
  15. Now you know they are holding it under after Sonny FINALLY takes care of Sidwell. ;P
  16. 5-13 It was meh. Especially for the little bits of intrigue. I'm never going to be here for Cartoon Leslie. Sorry, not sorry. I can't believe someone thinks it's cute that her daughter's boyfriend is cooking dinner, and every other sentence is a punchline/quip/shade. Knowing how Eva feels about him, a little...okay a lot...of common sense goes a long way. I did like the tidbit about Darlene, keeping the dislike between her and SilkPress as well as potential conflict between Eva and Izaiah alive. Good since they gave their first ILYs this episode. So I hope that was foreshadowing that will be the next leg of their storyline. I have such mixed feelings about the Madison lawsuit. I liked the Bill/Naomi team-up. And I liked Chels ran to them to decide what she should do in light of the video. I found the video thing highly realistic since in today's culture...there can't be any kind of violent action without someone recording. And it's also realistic that Kat would be worried for the ChelesaKat brand. So I don't mind this beat played. But for all the great scenes in this episode with the Hamiltons...how can I truly get invested if the Madison lawsuit is going to be off-screen? In fact, it all just feels off-screen. Also intrigued by Tomas and Smitty comparing notes on Lynette. Keeping Lynette's presence and the ticking timebomb of Hayley being exposed alive is definitely the right move. And keeps up suspense. Well, I can't say that they aren't playing the beats of Nicole's feelings for Ted returning. I don't like it at all. But I respect that they are playing it. And I liked the Vanessa/Nicole scene simply because Vanessa felt like VANESSA there for a second and not a whiny girl. Did I mention I'm happy to see Nicole? But if they are going this route...I wonder where this places Carlton and especially Kial.
  17. Sidenote @Huntress good to see you posting and hope things are well in your neck of the woods. :)
  18. tbf Curtis has grown insufferable for a while...it's what made Portia reading him down hilarious. It's gotten to the point that there are only rare times he's not...like him vs Drew for example. So I can only imagine it getting worse. That's fair. Then again, we might find them out next year...only for it to be overturned the following year.
  19. LOL!!!! Internet be clowning. But Curtis hasn't been interesting since Michael told him Drew was using him. Which felt meta on top of the plot.
  20. lol. Good. I think it's by detail. I just don't know why.
  21. You betta keep her away from Sinn and put her with Liam where she believes. ;P
  22. Thank you for this. It's been so long I could not remember the details @carolineg
