I would agree with Billy Miller as Billy as well. I was annoyed at first cuz I am a David Tom fan (still am) and Billy and Mac was the teen couple that made me fall in love with Y&R as a teen myself. But BM won me completely over.

Happy Thanksgiving @Maxim !!! I think for me though I'm not completely done with my binging due to work, I would honestly have to go with BTG B Enjoyable, but sadly lost momentum midmonth by pushing Winterfest back to December. BOLD C Honestly? Also enjoyable but it's usually fluff for me. The show did a pivot by focusing mostly on the Spencers and I felt it was a breath of fresh air. I like Taylor/Deacon/Sheila. And I'm in the minority with all things Daphne. BUT it was all dragged down by the Luna storyline so grade drop. GH A- Also honestly? Bingeable enjoyable. lol. The minus honestly is that I have always hated the writers' writing tics, but I also give credit where it's due. I really like that there are several storylines in play and that the writers in their second year have done a great job of shifting between them without losing momentum for the most part. At times, it feels like the whole show is a giant umbrella tale, where each tale blends into the other so when something happens...and something was always happening...it DOES effect the other several stories in play...and the ones currently on backburner, too. Well-done. Y&R D Outside of Billy Flynn in his undies (WOOF) and the Danny/Christine wedding, was anything going on? Well anything I care about? It should say something that I couldn't even sit through the latest Back From the Dead storyline because it is too far-fetched from what I saw LIVE when I was younger. And Y&R WAS the realistic soap. So it only has the D for the wedding. More than likely once I peek in on Ashley's return...it's back to not watching. I can't. Sorry, Josh Morrow. DAYS -- I hear the anniversary episodes were great. I still need to watch.

I was about to say...so officially Canada is 3...and I said THREE episodes ahead of U.S. Mad respect though for the fact that they and no one from what I can tell has been running around spoiling anything. Well...much. Good theory because I too have been wondering how even with the reduced episode count, the show has managed to not only acknowledge Halloween in some form, but now Thanksgiving. I can't wait for Christmas then. :) And of course NYE.

Same as several of us do since that has been the way on soaps. As well as the sign that a character that has been off canvas is probably coming back. And though of us spoiled already know the potential answer to one of those names which as usual show the writers are ahead of audience's comments. Again. You might be true on that last one...but I will always love the family staredown as a moment. :)

That's a thing of the past. They usually just air it day of and allow no access to it throughout the week. I found out the HARD way.

She just might be yet another newbie in the current crop of new Housewives that comes into an established show and give it a jolt.

Yeah and from what little I've seen...just on pictures...Keith and the June actress worked together before and already seem to have a proven chemistry that translated well on the show IMHO. And I was down for June vs SPS even more than Shanice vs SPS. I don't think I can explain it well, but I just found Ted and June...fit. It would have been nice to see it develop more. Hopefully it does loop back around like other things do on this show.

Same. It had such a great build the first two weeks of November. Make it make sense.

11-21 Thank you again, @dragonflies . 11-19 episode with the showdown between Will and Luna was locked down on the app (which I remembered I have on my phone since CBS player and my laptop don't mix), but I did get to watch the 11-20 episode which has the clip you posted. I still can't believe it. I can't believe that loopy girl done escaped. And she made a b-line right for Will. That said...I don't know how to explain how I feel about it. I can't say the Luna storyline doesn't have a build. And I like we have a break from the Forresters and focusing on the Spencer unit. I can't say they aren't playing all the beats I need. But it's seems like such a waste in terms of Luna...nothing against the actress. I can't believe that Brad Bell wrote her right back into a corner even after getting her out of said corner at least twice. I don't get it. And now I can't even be sure if Luna (or her baby) are even dead. Wouldn't we have been better off if Luna had just been a classic schemer and found a way to wiggle that baby into the Spencer household? Or just seduce Will without a drugging/drink-manipulation? Just a waste. Next week looks like fallout, but an introduction of new stories so...cool.

11-20 Well I finally went back and rewatched the RC back-to-backs. I still agree with my opinion on breakdowns/scriptwriters to date. I know that RC is divisive. I was/am a OLTL fan, watched his stuff on GH up to 2014 when it was just too much, and the start of his DAYS run right up to the John/Marlena wedding with Stacy Haudik joining as Kristen. So I definitely have a firm idea of his style...which was on display in his first official episode on this show. But I will give credit where it is due...I actually don't mind his stuff (for the most part) on this show. Yeah, there are still some annoying tics of his (mentions of elevator baby, the cat in the tree, Carl Vati, etc), but I do find that his breakdowns usually have a soapiness or balanced campiness at best, over the top silliness at worst. When RC is NOT in charge, it's good to see that he can still create a good episode, even if he is still drawn to the characters most likely to be over-the-top and/or shady. What is also still holding up is my thoughts on the scriptwriters currently working under him. Jazmen Darnell Brown did one. Danielle Paige did the other. I feel Jazmen works really, really well with RC. And that he gets better on RC's breakdowns the more he does them. Not bad since he's my favorite scriptwriter anyway. I felt like it was still a RC breakdown cuz there were slight hints of that campiness RC likes to do, but Jazmen managed to either tone it down and keep the focus on what was going on or filtered it through so it could be actually funny to me. I found more RC-isms in Danielle Paige's script. Not to say that it wasn't a good episode, it really was. But she doesn't 'hide' it as well as Jazmen has been able to do. I would say the same for when Judy Tate works on RC breakdowns, too. To be honest, I feel Danielle works better with Jamey Giddens IMO. I know a few months ago we did have a discussion over the writing overall vs day-to-day. At the time, I believe I said it is just a matter of figuring out which scriptwriters worked with which breakdown writers. And how the writing team was still trying to jell. At the time, I mentioned that I felt Sara Bibel/Cheryl Davis found a groove. Same for Teresa Zimmerman and either Judy Tate or Lynn Martin...who I believe is the team that did the majority of the anniversary party episodes. Otherwise it was hit or miss. I should probably mention that I do feel that my love for the Bibel/Davis team seems to have lessen now when they originally seem to have the strongest episodes. Not sure why since their episodes are still serviceable to me. I guess it just does not have that 'pop' for me where I felt the characters, story structure, plot, etc. I do believe that day to day has grown stronger now that everyone appears to be getting used to each other and settling in. But with stories shifting with a new Co-HW in house...some rushed, others becoming soapier...it will be interesting to see how overall goes.

I love seeing more of Shanice, but I agree with Vee and would have rather seen Ted with June. Surely we can get Shanice better.
