So what we all wearing to the cotillion? LOL!!! IKR!!! I believe that is part of the coat no question. But it stands out. I was thinking I was the only one. Not since February so it was nice that those articles were not lies after all. Same. Moreso since I know she's the original voice for Storm on the X-MEN cartoon back in the 90s. I would love to see her around. And perhaps @Cheap21 is right and she dated Dante Green at one time. Yes, me prepping for his inevitable appearance. Amen. Other than the drama potential of the fallout, I've long been over this storyline. And that the show was pushing it as the more developed B story just made me roll my eyes. It didn't even feel like the writers themselves wanted to write the story. And that's not good.

I admit that I am bias but sometimes I do be curious about the storyline. It's just something different for Nick. And he's been overdue. Well that's not unexpected to me. RH and MS worked together as Franco and OriginalNina on GH and from what I remember they were somewhat popular. JG would be crazy to not tap into some of that chemistry. This.

Yeah, I never cared for Ethan (who should have been Robert's son) until he dished the man bun (ironically now I like such things lol). As for Nathan Dean...he was okay. But I liked him as Jackson on THE ORIGINALS though I started that show Season 3 with none of that characters' backstory. And I really liked his interpretation of Max Evans on the ROSWELL reboot. He was attractive enough so I definitely started to find him that way...not that the policeman pants he often wore hurt. But when he took on another persona in the last season as Mr. Jones...there was this strong sexy swagger that I NEVER saw from Nathan even as Ethan that made me think all kinds of...uh...impure thoughts. My way of saying...I hope that some of that swagger energy pops up on screen here. I will fall out and probably bite a nail. As for Eden and a scheming comic heiress...all of this talk just makes me think of Linsey Godfrey's character on B&B who was like watching paint dry as the young heroine. Her character got thrown over a balcony and once she woke up in the hospital, she started to be just that...a scheming comic heiress. Who also like to call characters by the wrong name @carolineg And it did wonders for Linsey Godfrey's acting as well as her character. I wouldn't mind seeing Eden do it because I feel she would eat it up. Not unlike Kate Mac enjoying Willow (and it shows) now that Willow is crazy as a hatter and scheming.

Yeah, it can overtake Y&R for all I care. lol. I can't wait to start watching this week's later on today. But it's been nice that it's doing good enough that people who normally don't even pay attention to it on this board are picking it up as well.

BG being off contract...and AA also being off contract...is part of the reason I have felt (okay, trying to manifest hehe) that Tomas is also on his way out. He knows too much. Bill and Dani kissing. Overhearing Hayley talking on the phone. And then he started to dig into Lynette and Hayley's closeness, too. He, for me, has been screaming Dead Man Walking. Now that Black Veronica Mars aka Kat has been on the case with him...I'm not so sure, but they are definitely driving that story now that Lynette has up and 'vanished.'

From what little I could stomach of the show, I can say that I definitely have been enjoying Josh Morrow. We all know I'm bias though.

I definitely agree with you with Number 3. I felt that strongly when this storyline started, but it has grown with each time Jacob and Naomi have met up. A Jacob kidnapping though? Hmm. And you and several others were dead on with Nicole from this past week so I am starting to trust your instinct. So...poor Derek. HOWEVER...could that manifest an exit for Tomas, too, then?

Yeah, I think it would be a stretch that Doug is the Impaler. But not a stretch to have him alive. Honestly...and I hate to say it...I feel people on this board are right and it will be Derek. I feel they are too invested on making Ashley happen and she's great IMHO with Grayson. I hope it's not Jacob. I know people mentioned foreshadowing during the Jacob/Naomi flashback episode so I do worry.

Yeah at this point, I can definitely see her playing all of those as well...and I do feel it would play to Eden's strength as an actress. In terms of her place/position on the canvas, yeah such a miscast. BB's Emma totally should be and could do (heroine...just look at her as current tether for the Anna story while still being romanced...and leader of the YA scene...well everyone pops up together more when she's around than Joss herself) both easily. And just with what little she and Gio are given, she has proven that. No question. Sad, but true. re: Trina.

This was how I feeling last week (and the week before that) when I saw the synopsis for the following week and saw no sign of anything related really to the cotillion. After stalling on it for months, I just figured that it would be at the start of the month or at least regain its build up...similar to last year when the build up to the anniversary party started end of April. Last week I was hoping they would not do it at the same time as the plasma ring storyline. With Anita's story on break...what will they have? But reading the next week synopsis and seeing the teaser for next week...it sounds like they are blowing up (either climaxing or doing story turns) ALL of their stories next week. While I'm happy for the movement...that might be just a liiiiiiiittle too much. I agree. I had thought since they were forcingly pushing the plasma ring storyline and there was movement going on bit by bit, that perhaps it would be climaxing while the cotillion storyline got to build again. Moreso since Anita's story has been C plotted...along with Joey/Vanessa, Nicole and her three two men, and everything else. But alas. I am starting to wonder after that preview. I hope not. Like I said...every soap needs a himbo. Well, I am looking forward to seeing what the set they got for it looks like for sure.

Yeah, the fan resentment for Joss as heroine and squeeze into every story even if she does not fit is very and truly real. That said...since Joss did start off as trouble, I could see Eden playing Joss as a bad girl if allowed. I did like the rivalry energy she had with Lexi's Kristina for example. The catfights that could have been.

When it comes to cliffhangers, I would say them and B&B...they definitely understand the cliffhanger assignment.

I do feel the wording was pointed for sure. But like you, I could totally see Kristina backtracking in a way that does not disrespect the audience...which is sadly what Y&R went for. And so it begins. le sigh. Lord give me strength.

With some brief moments of good writing...SAME. Very much so. Grrrradual intro of newbies. Not force eating. Also same.

I felt that she did identify as that for a bit. But with the Blaze storyline, she did come out completely as gay. But I could be wrong. And still feel they will write Kristina better than what happened to Mariah, Tessa, and Daniel over on Y&R.

Perhaps she will run off into the sunset with the returned Vaughn.

All I have to say is...Next Week Synopsis looks messy as heck and I expect the thread to be hopping.

So off of NEXT WEEK synopsis. First of all, FINALLY re: the cotillion!!!! And it doesn't look boring OR off screen. Second of all, per my comments the other day...so they are going to explode EVERYONE'S storyline next week. I said that it might be too much. I still feel that. BUT I'm looking forward to it. I might watch live if possible. Third of all...if the 'reunion' is an alive Doug...I will fall right on out.

I admit that I don't like how BLQ is acting so far. The BLQ I'm used to would be scrambling and have a better game face. Tracy has been right. All to make her come across like a victim saint.

5-12 You know what? I almost (emphasis on ALMOST) want the plasma ring storyline to go on so that Joey could actually mess with Martin and Smitty by making Martin think Smitty was having an affair...but alas. I thought this was uneven. Either that or it started off really strong and then just petered out. I thought Mike coming back was inspired. Just from the history alone. And putting him in the Chels/Madison lawsuit would be interesting. Interesting...if this was going to make it all the way to court. And for even that...we would need a set. Since no set...I just don't expect it to go anywhere. Takes away the suspense a little bit. I did like the mixing of characters. Naomi/Mike. Elon/Chels. Ashley/Smitty. It's one thing about the show that I really liked happening over the first year and start of this one. I really also like that now that the end of the tunnel is arriving with this plasma ring storyline, that things are coming together. Elon finding out about Smitty. Ashley realizing about Lia and Grayson trying to protect her. Smitty and Ashley filling in each other's lack of information. I am curious about Joey's need to have his tentacles in all story. A little bit too little too late. Heck, he might have made it more interesting for me at least. And now it does appear that there is someone over Lia and she herself IS NOT the Impaler? Okay...Who? I thought Nicole/Carlton gave cute C plot.

My dislike for JackOLantern knows no bounds. #FreeMichael lol. Tbf, I did mention I did give her her due when she read Willow down and the actresses do have good rival chemistry. Dare I say it...even more than Sasha/Willow? I can see that. I want to say...for the most part I want to say Nina is competent for the most part at Crimson, but it's been so long since they focused on it in any serious way that I wouldn't be sure if that was still the case now.

Yeah, I vaguely remember that part for Lulu. Versus Maxie who was all about it. Of course not though, Kate (as played by Megan Ward) would have Miranda Priestly her oh so easily with a head tilt. Meanwhile, Nina is not even allowed to get too much over Jacleta. Silly writers.

I mean...we have seen Michael so I understand with the...word we aren't supposed to say...or something. hehe. Yeah, I always saw Kate (as played by Megan Ward) always running a tight ship. Though to be fair...Maxie clearly wanted to be there. While Lulu...not so much. Which is the vibe I get from Jacutta.
