  1. Well that sad to hear. However, isn't JG going too dark in story a sign that he might be on his way out?
  2. How funny with Misha given the GG role was supposed to go to her originally.
  3. Same. Because I didn't care for her in the first episode at all. But Episode 2, I felt she took a leap acting-wise though her character was still boring. And I guess it was down to the writing that I realized that I was invested...because who can't relate to starting a new job...one that you have really been working for, too. And in a hospital...I guess Grey's Anatomy, other medical shows, AND soaps have me trained...because we know drama will happen. It gave Ash some motivation to play with...which I felt JJ and the trainer did well. Mind you, I did like the trainer more.
  4. Ooooo that was vicious shade. lol. jk. I know what you mean. I think, unlike those two, she is going to blossom. The fact she is a bland/boring character vs you can see her acting like she is a bland/boring character...as in see she's acting...I think she will be a dark horse once they attempt to give her something meaty.
  5. I guess it shows how well my friends know me that even thought I haven't talked to some of them in ages, they still messaged me to see if I was okay. My jaw hasn't dropped over her since I ran into her, chatting to my friend about Buffy, at a 7th Street Starbucks in Manhattan back when I lived there. The irony of me rewatching her Season 1 Gossip Girl scenes as Georgina Sparks last night (and that I just finished binging the reboot where she returns as well last week)...a great introduction as a villainess if ever I saw one...is not lost on me. First Scooby down. Michelle, just like Shannen Doherty before her, has always been a part of my life. From Pete&Pete to Harriet the Spy. I loved her turn in Mysterious Skin...which is one of the book I loved growing up as a Southern boy looking for gay novels in a town that did not have very many. And to see her appear on Buffy the Vampire Slayer...oomf! Dawn wasn't my favorite, but that had nothing to do with Michelle's performance. She was a kid. A key. And she turned in some great performance. Not to mention her horror stuff and turn to wearing black. Which brings me to Gossip Girl. Georgina Sparks was supposed to go to Mischa Barton. Thank Jesus (in-joke) it did not. Cuz she was one of those characters that when she popped up in episodes...like Mama Pope on Scandal...you knew there was about to be some mess popping off and it was going to be gorgeous. And Michelle played Georgina's brand of chaos to the hilt. From hate her on screen to love to hate her to when is she coming back...she navigated that character to some deliciously wicked heights. It was no wonder she was resurrected on the reboot. And at 39? My brother is turning 40 this weekend. So yes, this hits. Especially just given how much of a Buffy/Angel fan I was and still am. First Scooby down. RIP. I totally forgot she was his daughter. Le sigh.
  6. I feel like she will. She already came across better in Day 2. I felt she was giving and listening versus just saying off a lot of lines.
  7. I agree with that, too. In fact, I started to wonder as BTG goes on, if they will have their signature style. Kinda like how Y&R used to have BITD with close-ups, fade in floating past flower vases, a character talking in the foreground with a character in the background (in fact, I believe I saw one moment in the Martin/Vernon scene and loved that). Oh, how this show makes a person imagine.
  8. I thought that. But I also thought there is something more to the death of Andre's father. I mean we love a good ki-ki.
  9. Wooooooooooooooow!!! The end of an era. But sadly she has no one to blame, but herself. She will be missed. And I do hope she comes out of it stronger than ever and in a better headspace. I do feel the others will march on and maintain without her.
  10. I know it was mentioned yesterday that you need those medicals who get mixed up in the drama and given who she's friends with and who your close friend is...I so see Ms. Ash getting a bit of story at some point. Haha. I didn't even think of that. Well tbf this Bill AND that Bill are powerful men and attractive so... I feel that way as well.
  11. As did I. I didn't care for her Episode 1, but today established her better and she has potential. Especially all the people surrounding her.
  12. I personally feel like they are going to just give us great writing and hold off any of those until May Sweeps. But I could stand corrected.
  13. That could be an interesting route to go. That last part paralleling Dani's.
  14. *gasps* So they are feeding us good on these intrigues. Cuz there were just so many in this episode alone. Good to know answers are (well-pacingly) coming.
  15. Not just you. Or she is someone from Ted's past and he didn't recognize her at that time. Heck, maybe she's Andre's mom, and no one knows.
  16. Ikr. I was like 'huh?' I know he was. Mike stays booked and busy. Not 1985 Steven Carrington! *falls out*
