  1. @CatTo me, Joanna, Marta and Romain were like watching the Three Stooges, but I loved the drama they brought! I also loved Karent who I still don’t understand. Her relationship is obviously fake, but at first I felt the women were too hard on her, then she seemed to lean into troublemaking so she was hard to understand. I get why she got fired, but not Ana. She was such a good housewife! I remember initially feeling like season 3 felt too small after such a large cast for season two. You had 7 housewives, Elaine, Mama Elsa, Marta and Alexia as friends and various recurring guests. It was truly a telenovella! I’m curious if I’ll like season 3 more this time around. I agree. I understand Mary has her faults, but I feel like because she doesn’t seem to be all there, it’s easy to make her feel bad and other her. It seems intentional. The focus is always on her reaction but nobody seems to see what sets her off. It makes me so uncomfortable that they’re pushing her church as a cult when the Mormon church has such a dark history and despite Heather and Whitney’s issues with it, I feel they’d never talk about it like they’re doing Mary.
  2. I've been rewatching Miami since Peacock doesn't know what promotion is. I wanted something to help me build anticipation for the return since we have no trailer or cast photos even though the show premieres next month. One thing I'll say is that season one is much better than I remember. Maybe it's because of the time that passed and HWs have changed so much, so I compared it more to early seasons of RHOC, RHONY, etc. It wasn't great, but at 6 episodes it was very watchable and had memorable moments. The stars were Adriana and Mama Elsa. I strongly believe they are the only reason the show was renewed. Now I'm halfway through season two and Adriana is such a top notch housewife it makes it even harder to believe she somehow ends up as a Friend for the upcoming season. She *is* Miami to me and carried every season. Also, I didn't remember how masterful the reboot was. The enhanced production values, bigger cast, the array of supporting characters. It is endlessly entertaining. I also didn't remember how integral Mama Elsa was. She had a strong presence in the premiere and she was so well connected with the group that she could have scenes with other HWs without Marysol being around. To think she's around 77 and is this involved in a Housewives show is crazy. She is one of a kind and will never be replaced! Another 10/10 housewife is Joanna. I can't understand how she never made it on Beverly Hills. Just a hot mess! I love her fights with her sister and literally one drink and she flips out. Much like Adriana she is one of the All Stars of this reboot. The ensemble works well, but those two definitely are carrying the show.
  3. I hate how they gaslight Mary. Mary stated she didn't like Jennie, but would go on the trip and see how it goes. She asked Jen what she thought of Jennie and was listening to her when Whitney jumped in talking about "You need to listen to Jen!!!" After Mary let Whitney have it, everybody is comforting Whitney and acting like Mary did something wrong. Why was Whitney even getting involved in it? That was bizarre to watch. As for the arrest?! Lord that was good! I'm glad they used the last 15 minutes instead of giving us ten seconds and a "To Be Continued..." The level of detail only enhanced how insane the situation was. You can't convince me Bravo didn't know about this. The way their cameras were set up was too spot on, as was them waiting there 12 minutes after Jen left, which gave NYPD time to get there.
  4. @VeeIt was telling that Daytime Confidential almost immediately had to delete their story about Morina and never mentioned it again. These outlets can’t afford to report on these stories and risk being blacklisted when they need access to cast for interviews, spoilers, etc. When the Steve/Ingo need drops, this is going to likely be picked up by Fox News and could be a huge PR mess. I personally wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t say anything until their exits air.
  5. I don’t see why anybody is surprised the news hasn’t been posted yet. This is going to be a shitstorm when it’s announced I don’t blame them for keeping quiet. Also, Y&R’s Executive Producer was accused of sexual assault on set and the show and network hasn’t fired him or released a statement. Not reporting on major soap stories isn’t something rare.
  6. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t say anything and just let the exits air before saying anything.
  7. NOBODY wanted those characters back. Josh Griffith is simply a creative black hole. When it comes to Steve Burton, I wonder how the writers will handle this. Pretty much anybody else would be fairly easy to write out, but you can always count on Sonny, Carly and Jason to appear in the majority of episodes each month. I can’t imagine it would be easy for the writers to write him out of so many scripts. I wonder if they’d consider a recast?
  8. I think a traditional reboot like what Prospect Park did would absolutely be a streaming hit. The issue with those shows was timing, not quality IMO. At the same time I also feel like Pine Valley could be a hit as a prime time reboot. ABC loves soapy prime time dramas with a mystery at the center. Throw in well known cast members like Susan Lucci, Eva Larue and Debbi Morgan (Sarah Michelle Gellar?) and a couple recognizable prime time faces and I feel the show would at least get sampled. That’s why I’m shocked they haven’t at least put it to pilot. Filming a pilot and seeing what type of cast they could put together is what I feel will sell the series. The script alone I can see being risky to them since a soap has never had a prime time continuation.
  9. I actually don't mind that. You have limited amount of characters you can use on a primetime show and the Santos and Kane families are good ideas for a primetime show I feel. I feel like you could write a rivalry that would make sense.
  10. I could be reading too much into your comment, but if it's a long shot and they haven't even ordered a pilot, the script must be a real stinker. If it's a long shot that would suggest to me there won't be a pilot, which in turn means no series.
  11. I feel like Mia was fine overall. She gave us drama, an interesting backstory and those classic airheaded HWs moments. I could see her becoming more successful in future seasons as she gets the hang of it.
  12. Now I’m always open to new cities, but y’all gonna have to help me out because I DO NOT understand this for the first international series produced by Bravo… It’s rumored to be casted around Caroline Stanbury from Ladies of London and I saw on Twitter that Dawn Ward from RHOCheshire has been spotted filming with her. I just don’t get it with urge laws they have there. They could’ve done London if they wanted to go international.
  13. This is the worst I've ever seen. It's a soap and Days is a wacky soap at that, but I feel like the past year or two all Ben and Ciara do is whine about how people don't love him and forgive him. They don't HAVE to forgive him! He murdered people! The fact that Eve is still the villain to him killing her daughter is sick to me. If you wanna reform him, do it, but MOVE ON! I'm sick of listening to them whine. One of the best redemptions I've seen was the original redemption of Michael and Kevin on Y&R, I'd even include Phyllis. Around that 2003-2004 period the show had mostly redeemed these characters, but they still only existed on their side of Genoa City. They had their supporters, but their victims and victims families were allowed to dislike them and not want to be around them. It was the perfect balance I felt. Then as the writers changed it all shifted and their crimes were swept under the rug, their victims became the villains in the story and Kevin, Michael AND Phyllis were all turned into romantic heroes and heroine. The sad thing is, they were less interesting this way and there was less depth to the story after this was done.
  14. The best interview he ever did was with Rosemary Prinz. For one, it was shocking that at 90 she was so sharp, but she completely took control of that interview and made sure she got across what she wanted to say. I hope and Eileen Fulton comes stacked with a strong internet connection and similarly is able to speak freely. It's a shame because Alan gets so many great, rare people for these interviews, but he lacks basic knowledge of these actors careers, doesn't listen which prevents good follow up questions and shuts down anything that might be juicy.
  15. To be fair, this was a story that blew up from a clip of an hour long interview Nene did. She was complementary about the ladies but was asked what specifically they gave and she mentioned she thought it was weird that a bunch of the ATL ladies pitched in to get her a $200 flower set. Kandi and Marlo did send their own flowers and Marlo sent her money to get stuff that she needed for the repass. I wish Nene hadn’t said anything, but I got what she meant, u just wish she didn’t answer the question because she should’ve known they’d only show that part
  16. She actually had an interesting gossip blog/patreon. I’ve followed her for a while. She’s always ahead of the story. She was also the first to break news of Erika’s divorce before it was announced. I’ll admit the Potomac reunion does look good, but like you all, it’s difficult to get excited for a trash person like Nicki Minaj who is currently threatening the woman her husband raped. I just can’t believe Bravo went forward with it…. RHOM’s cast announcement from peacock was a total mess. No cast photo and no trailer and all anybody wanted to talk about is Adriana not being a housewife lol. What a mess! If anything, release a cast photo or trailer to distract.
  17. I think it's because Victoria really left the industry so there wasn't much room for a redemption story. With her I always took it as she was someone who went to work, clocked out and lived her life. I've heard of many actors like that and they always get viewed negatively by the cast, but isn't that what so many of us do in our real lives? There's this expectation that every cast must be a big family and close friends, but sometimes it's just a job for you. We don't know the day to day and what everybody's personalities are really like. I never have believed she's a bad person in any way, or difficult. If Larry Hagman was allowed to do the things we know he did on that set, you can't convince me that Victoria, or any other woman had any power on this show. Look how they were all discarded.
  18. We all know how the Alice recasts went on Another World, but my question is, are there any actresses from that time period who you all think could've been good in that role? I never seemed to understand what they were going for since the recasts all seem so different from what I've seen of them. I recall one even being a brunette.
  19. I liked her on Baywatch and this HBO show she had years ago with Frank Langella. Physically she looks the part so I'm going to be hopeful. Taylor needed to return ages ago so at least that wrong has been righted. I do wish it was Kristin Alfonso, but now we just have to hope Bill Bell writes the character well.
  20. This robbery seems incredibly suspect in light of what we know about the Kemsley's finances and the fact that she claimed it's happened to them before. What kind of security does she have?!
  21. Gizelle I do think is a nice woman, but you can tell she's envious of what the other women have and that leads to her making shady comments which cause them to dislike her. She also is the Producer of the show. In the Bravo BTS book that just got released the producers (and Gizelle herself) highlighted how hard she pushes for certain scenes and stories and she will NOT give up until it;'s done. Basically, she's good TV.
  22. I think Porsha's spin off looks more interesting than I expected. I also am excited for the new season of RHOA! Most of all I'm happy my Queen Marlo got her peach finally. I know many are upset about a 6 person cast, but you know RHOA always has friends. In the end I'm sure there will be 7-8 people filming regularly. Some of the Twitter insiders have even said if filming goes well we could end up with 7 peaches. That means there's more people in the mix. I'm just happy they finally took their time and have a plan for RHOA.
  23. I never understood getting rid of this in the first place. Considering how long this show lasted and how much the cast changed, I'm very curious what type of cast they will go with. Of course we will have new characters, but I'm curious of the mish mash of old characters that join them.
  24. I'm sorry, but the Eric and Donna reunion was pure camp, hilarious and classic B&B! I miss those soap moments.
  25. I just started season two yesterday and now you have me devastated lmao! I do not look forward to seeing him again.
