  1. Kari is fabulous lol. I love how she keeps up with the girls and isn’t scared to throw shade. I hope she returns next season because Heavenly wants to kill her ass lol.
  2. Eboni is just full of shyt if I’m being honest with y’all. Leah revealed her when she mentioned Eboni supporting Trump and her mom voting for him right after she said voting for Trump makes you a white supremacist. She was stumbling over her words trying to correct herself. Eboni doesn’t want to teach anything, she wants to create moments and become popular by taking down the women. That’s it. If she wanted them to learn about black history she could’ve planned a trip to a Black museum or a cast trip to a historical Black history site which would allow them to organically learn about our culture without feeling like she’s lecturing or preaching to them. Not a lecture disguised as a dinner party. What Bershan said was right and fair, you have to meet people where they are. Approach matters. You could tell she wanted to cuss Bershan out and it’s only because Bershan has her number. Still despite that I did love this episode. Eboni and Leah annoy me, but Bershan is a good fit. I think the second half of the season is going to be good. I’m mostly interested in seeing Bershan, Ramona, Luann and Sonja. That is where they need to be focusing for next seasons cast. Bring back Tinsley and Dorinda with one newbie and you’d have a classic season.
  3. His Instagram screams it lol and he follows all the most crazy MAGA types.
  4. Now I know y’all ain’t hyping up this little Trump supporter. He clearly aint got no package to search for lol.
  5. I rarely go back to the post 2000 episodes, but I saw there’s lots of 2004 in the vault and I wanted to revisit Joan Van Ark’s Gloria so I’ve been binging. I know many don’t consider this to be the best, but I think it was Y&R’s last great year and it holds up well. 2004 doesn’t seem that far away, but when you look at the level of production values it seems as far away as the 80s or 90s episodes. I find it hard to believe this is even the same show. The endless sets, the size of these sets, the lighting, the diversity of sets and locations in each episode. The direction is sharper, the clothing and hair is better. Everybody doesn’t interact so you can tell the class level of the different groups. All of the personality has been drained from this show. It’s striking to see how vibrate the characters that are still on are here. The Newman’s before Adam destroyed that family, a normal Abbott family with Brad and Mamie still included, the Winters family. Great supporting characters like Larry Wharton and Grace. Actual teens with story. I literally wanted to see a couple glimpses of Joan Van Ark and wasn’t expecting episodes from 2004 to make me so nostalgic. And for the record she still remains the superior Gloria. They should’ve offered her the rehearsal time and limited schedule she needed. The entire Baldwin-Fisher family unit is so much more likable as outsiders with a dark edge. Greg Rikaart is just electric in these scenes!
  6. It’s weird what’s going on with Y&R and these casting choices. Even going back to Chance. I didn’t like the actor, but he was front burner and clearly they had story planned for him, but he still hasn’t been recast. Then you now have 3 front burner characters that may be out as well? That’s odd. You can tell watching they’re going through the motions. You can’t see any passion for any particular character or storyline. I feel like that’s why they’re so quick to let these actors go, because they don’t care. They’ll just shift the focus elsewhere in another thrown together, boring storyline.
  7. Yes! It keeps moving and evolving. I mean at first it was a game of telephone, now it’s out in the open which is making it even more exciting. Also, I must say I’m SHOCKED and stunned we have an event at Lisa Rinna’s house next week. Is this a first? I have to give Lisa props because her house seems so cluttered and like it hasn’t been renovated in years, but her table setup looked great and I never would’ve guessed the beautiful scenery in the “leather pants” scene was at her house. When I saw the episode preview and put two and two together I was stunned!
  8. I may be the only one, but I’m loving Crystal vs Sutton. They have both been wrong at parts and I do think Crystal knows how to get under Sutton’s skin, but this is giving me classic Kyle vsCamille or Heather vs Shannon on RHOC. A light housewives feud that isn’t dominating the show or going dark. I’m all for this! I feel like this season has SO much to offer. Garcelle has become an excellent HW and couldn’t do a dull scene if she tried. Kyle is having one of her best seasons in years. Kathy is giving us comedic relief and Erika FINALLY has a storyline. The only people not earning their paychecks are Dorit and Rinna, but there is enough going on that I don’t mind. Without the petty Sutton/Crystal feud we wouldn’t have any drama. For that reason alone I appreciate it and I appreciate the overall balance the show is giving us. I also give them props on how lush this season looks even with covid. Even their cast trip felt just as fabulous as if they’d gone somewhere international.
  9. I screamed when I heard Ashley’s tagline! I can’t wait for Potomac to return! As for RHONY, this episode I felt was perfect and I enjoyed the potential that this group has. I’ll be honest, even Leah didn’t bother me. I enjoyed the Harlem night *because* it was a disaster. I didn’t find this too heavy to watch, but I could see why the women were confused and bored. They expected a fun and glam evening and it came off more like a college lecture. I enjoyed watching everybody tip toe around it in subsequent scenes, but ultimately let Eboni know how they felt so hopefully things can move forward. I’m keeping an open mind with her based on how tonight went. Next week looks GOOD! Bershan is giving me Ramona/Dorinda with how outspoken she is.
  10. Honestly, Bravo is wrong to not give Bershan her apple. She started filming 3 weeks in. The only reason she’s appearing so late is because they stretched the Hamptons trip out for so many weeks. Considering how heavily she’ll feature I think Bravo was wrong not to give her a cast photo, or a Sonja style late addition Apple. They officially announced her then acted like she didn’t exist. One positive is that she’s on Wendy Williams tomorrow so she’s finally getting some attention, but Bravo should’ve been promoting her arrival. The show has *no* hype this season. Use what you have! Imagine the “new girl in town” type promo they could run with clips of her instant feuds with Eboni and Sonja. People would tune in for that.
  11. I was surprisingly happy with all the choices except Y&R winning Best Writing. I feel that’ll help keep Josh Griffith around which means I have no interest in watching that show again. GH was fantastic last year and deserved that Best Show win. The biggest thrill for me was seeing Cady McClain win as Jennifer. To be a sudden recast of such a popular character is difficult, but she instantly SURPASSED Melissa Reeves. I too hope she’s back on contract!
  12. Some RHONY tea from the Slut Pig podcast: The host said a network source said they pulled the show this week last minute because of the poor response to the season. They also reiterated that the show is going to have a long season which I know is a disaster for them with this type of reaction. I wonder if there’s a chance they could cut it from 21 episodes to like 15 or if they’ll ride it out. He also said his network source said that Leah was one of the best received new HWs they’ve had and her fall from grace with fans is HUGE! I hope that means they’re smart and get rid of her ass.
  13. It's truly insane. You'd think looking at her bloodline that they'd just recast. Even bringing back Emme Rylan would be better than this. There are endless known soap actresses who are out of work that could easily make Abby the leading lady they want her to be. It's a disgrace to have Ashley's only daughter be so dull.
  14. Years ago he had a gossip blog that started with TV Guide Canada. He'd do interviews and seemed to be very well connected, but the fame went to his head and he got messy. While he did provide lots of good gossip and broke news stories and did great interviews, he'd also fight with soap stars all the time. It was a mess by the time he was finished.
  15. I don't understand the investment in Abby. Melissa Ordway can't act and can't carry a story. It's insane the focus they give to her.
  16. Nothing Erika is doing gives me any hope that she could be innocent. It's all screaming guilty.
  17. Well get ready because they have one episode in New York, then they’re back on the road for another trip lol.
  18. My big question is, why is he bringing this up now? He’s been talking about soaps more and more. I wonder if he’s going to start up a column again.
  19. Chile, Kyle, Kathy AND Crystal looked like they was one step away from saying they don’t know nobody named Erika lmao! The body language in this clip KILLED me! @DaytimeFanEverything you said was spot on! Erika was playing an entirely new character this week and it was a performance fit for a porno. Did you notice how starting with the scene with Rinna getting drinks she was so engaged and bubbly? That is when I truly knew I couldn’t believe anything she said. Where was the ice Queen? That screamed of trying to keep her diamond. I also agree with you on Sutton/Crystal and I’m glad Sutton so far has been able to catch onto what she’s doing. Crystal is very clever and makes sure to say inflammatory things to Sutton in private and I notice she takes the women to the side in groups to talk [!@#$%^&*] about Sutton. That’s intentional. She can gauge the reaction of each lady to see how far she can spin the story based on how they react. As we saw, it worked with Dorit. I completely understand how she’s so close with Teddi.
  20. RHONY has been struggling in the ratings so why not let if air after the highly rated Below Deck reunion to give it some buzz? Why not hype Bershan’s arrival so fans know something fresh is coming if they aren’t thrilled with what they’re seeing? It’s like they’ve given up on this season to be honest.
  21. People call Cynthia boring, but she's given so much more than HWs on other series. I think because RHOA is an All Stars franchise she gets overlooked because there are so many BIG cast members. If people are objective and look back, she's provided TONS of drama throughout the years, shade, funny moments, fashion and she's been extremely open with the highs and lows of her personal life. She also always provided a solid family storyline with family members she could film with, which many HWs lack. Cynthia is an All Star HW in my opinion. Now we know Bravo foolishly never does it, but if they're smart and considering she IS on All Stars, I'd see if she wants to move to Beverly Hills. She's friends with Garcelle and Kyle and on that series what people called dull on RHOA would be incredibly dynamic. It would also cause buzz by having a housewife switch franchises. Cynthia will be on Wendy Williams thursday which is when people expect the announcement.
  22. Rumor has it we should be expecting Cynthia to announce her exit any day now.
  23. Yes Romano had nice moments but they didn’t really go anywhere. He had so much potential, especially with Corday like y’all mentioned. Especially since she doesn’t seem to have anything going on.
  24. Typically when a show reaches it's 10th season because of the milestone it tends to be a special season. Here it's special for how bad it is. This is the first season that I can say is 100% terrible and doesn't feel like ER. Things that don't work for me: - The cast has no chemistry with each other. It's a weird mish mash of characters and they're good characters, but something is missing. I've never fully warned to Luca and Carter is no lead. Having these two as your leads is not only boring, but this storyline in Africa is painfully dull. Entire episodes set with two weak characters in Africa?! It's rare a show can split the action like that and have it work. Of the new characters, Nurse Sam and med student Neela are great and both played by good actors, but they don't have anything interesting in terms of story. Dr. Morris is bizarre because he's a terrible doctor, but he only pops up to avoid helping patients or screw up and you get no insight into who he is and why he's acting like this. Is he scared? Is he an [!@#$%^&*]? He's just there. - The biggest issue I have is that there is so much talent wasted. The leads are Pratt, Luca, Carter, Abby and Sam and everybody else is left fending for whatever scraps are left over. Whenever Dr. Chen has a potential storyline it's wrapped up in one or two episodes as a B story. Despite Pratt being a lead, their relationship was only featured in a way to expand on his characterization and she never had a point of view. Then you have Weaver who is married I guess, but we've hardly seen her wife so it's odd whenever they appear or when her wife gave birth after we barely saw her (if at all) pregnant. Weaver's miscarriage was similarly shoved into the background. Now that she is chief of staff you never see her. Corday could be a guest star as far as she is on the backburner. When she does appear it's brief and I'm sure if I look into it she's missed several episodes. In general people disappear a lot this season. Carter went MIA for a few episodes, Dr. Chen, Corday, Lewis. Speaking of Dr. Lewis, as one of two original characters left, it's shameful that the best she can muster is a C story. It's bizarre that they have so many interesting characters that just sit on the background. Looking at the comings and goings, the one that I feel has hurt the show more than anything is Dr. Benton's exit. Eric La Salle had such a presence that could help tie the canvas together in a way Noah Wyle can't do. I also can't go without mentioning how ridiculous it was to have Dr. Romano crushed to death by a helicopter. That was a Jump the Shark moment if I've ever seen one. The last spoiler I knew was about his arm getting cut off and I'm not sure I would've believed it had I read that he was later crushed by a helicopter. How did that make it out of the writers room?! They've had brittle characters before, but he was kept one note until the end. They never explored who he was, a romance for him, a real friendship. It was a total waste of a good actor and a character that could've provided good conflict had he been more nuanced. What's keeping me going is that I do enjoy Dr. Pratt and I've enjoyed getting to know Neela. I enjoy Gallant when we get to see him and Jerry has had some fun moments. That is pretty much it. Even the introduction of one of my favorite actresses (Thandie Newton) can't save this season for me. I'm hoping things get better next year.
  25. God Heather has so many good moments but I don’t think you can top her meeting with Shannon at her home. To me that is a Top 5 HWs confrontation. Shannon’s best feuds we’re with Heather and then Lydia.
