On the subject of Leah, she basically tells people what they want to hear. For years she wrote for The Federalist which is as Republican as it gets and she voted third party in 2020, which IMO is what some republicans did who didn’t want the stain of voting for Trump, but don’t support democrats. In RHOD news, the rumored newbie Toni was out with some friends, including Claudia Jordan who we know interviewed last season. Imagine how great it would be if we had a cast that looked like this, plus D’Andra and Tiffany.

RHONJ I know everybody hates these shorter seasons, but this season has been flawless and this reunion? My god! This was one of the best reunions I've ever seen. It wasn't super dark, but it had a steady flow of drama and this cast has good chemistry. The only person I do think they could afford to lose is Jackie, but I'm okay with her staying. I'm glad they're getting down to the obvious which is that the rumor came from Margaret. Her husband completely gave that away, because how could he know that and not her? I hope they tear her ass up next week! RHOBH This was a strong premiere that did a great job of setting things up and also delivering a high level of shade. This felt like RHOBH at it's best. They finally have a cast with chemistry that works. The MVP was Garcelle. She wasn't the only one, but it cannot be stated enough how she carried this premiere. She was in almost every scene! People were mad she missed a few events last season, but it seems like she's very involved and in control! Crystal had a nice introduction and seems like she'll easily fit in. I didn't know what to expect of her considering she's younger, but she's definitely not intimidated or afraid. I feel Kyle and Rinna will have the least to offer this season, but they didn't bother me. Also LOVED seeing Sutton with a diamond and title card.

Yes I do believe that final trip got canceled because someone got COVID, but nobody would admit to it publicly so we will see if it’s revealed in the show. The trailer shows parts of the main cast trip in Salem. That’s when Bershan/Sonja have that fight where Sonja breaks the glass.

We haven’t even hit a full week of Eboni filming though. So it could be she’s working this stuff out now and trying to move forward. From the trailer we know that she felt a relief when Bershan joined because she said she didn’t wanna feel like she had to educate them.

See this doesn’t surprise me. New York isn’t like some cities where you film and film and can’t use the footage. They always deliver. Ramona said this season is going to be longer than last year. Also the Hamptons is just *one* trip. So much of the trailer is coming just from this one trip. I bet production loves working with these ladies. They make the job easy for them. ETA: LMAO! Like I said, Melissa picked the wrong one!

Hopefully the Pine Valley reboot is serious about featuring the Santos and Hubbard clans in a substantial way because if not, she’s making it clear she’s not going to be picking up non-diverse shows. Four out of the five shows ABC picked up have a majority black cast. AMC has the legacy and enough name minority actors to make this work. We just have to hope they don’t have that daytime mindset of keeping the black people in the background.

@CatIm going to keep Melissa in my prayers because Jennifer is the last woman she should want to mess with. Jennifer can tear these women up with ease. Melissa needs to chill and keep collecting her allowance for being Teresa’s sister in law. My thing is, I don’t think Heather is innocent, nor do I think Heather is the type to deny what she said. Heather can hold her own. My issue is that none of it has anything to do with Leah and she’s not mentioning stuff in context. It’s so obvious now that all the pre show press about Heather came from Leah. She’s doing damage control because she knows she came off bad. I have never liked Leah’s Anti-Me Too, Trump supporting racist ass so I’ll admit I’m biased, but I cannot stand her. She is so phony and such a hypocrite IMO. I think what we’re seeing with Sonja is a flashback to when she was having money problems with that movie lawsuit. It’s always money that gets her like this and in feelings about the past. This is also coming off her losing that Century 21 deal so she may have lost money from that. I do know that she’s closed a new deal with Walmart, but we could be seeing her worrying about her finances in the current episodes. The one big mystery for me though is why she is so mad at Luann and Ramona. Even on WWHL she said she’s not speaking to them. It’s so random! All in all I will say: After three episodes, New York is officially back. I feel like from here on out we’re good. Eboni has been introduced and is comfortable being open and frank with the ladies and with Heather we will have a sixth woman. Once she leaves we’ll have Bershan so that will continue to help for those who feel five wives aren’t enough. I have faith in these ladies!

RHONY I find it funny that we hear Leah call Heather a Karen in the trailer, but isn’t that how SHE is acting? She’s judging everybody and trying so hard to have a problem with somebody that she’s the one coming off like a Debbie Downer. The look on Eboni’s face as she ruined the winery trip going in on Ramona was everything! The reason nobody is backing you up is because nobody cares! Chill out and have a good time! Other than Leah killing the mood I did enjoy this episode. I enjoy Ramona and Eboni getting along and Sonja was amazing! I don’t know what is going on with her, but she’s giving me life this season.

Woooow! Garcelle is the first woman on this show to make Rinna nervous! She *knows* what she did was dark and wrong and I love that Garcelle held her feet to the fire. Like she said, how does Garcelle know she wouldn’t turn on her like that? Garcelle is about to give us everything we want! I can feel it!

This is why I don't like Leah. I HATE when Housewives manufacture stories and that is 100% what this is. Let's be real: Leah has no storyline. She's faking this converting to Judaism thing to have a story, now she's pushing this thing with Heather to produce additional story. The other ladies all have interesting things to follow. Sonja has her money issues and feuds, Ramona is literally giving them gold with her massive Hampton's home as a filming location, Luann has a BF and Eboni has stuff going on. Leah is just trying to stay relevant. The stuff with Heather has NOTHING to do with her and if it needs to be brought up, it needs to be brought up by Luann, Sonja or Ramona in order for it to be interesting. Now I'm not sure how it'll go, but you can't convince me I'll side with Leah on this. Remember last year the cast photo was leaked like 5 months before they even announced the season.

Okay season three is excellent, but I am FURIOUS with some of these doctors! I'll start with Dr. Greene. He's been going through a life crisis since his wife left him in season two and now with Dr. Lewis gone, he is taking it out on everybody. First, I hated how he reacted when he snooped and found out Jeannie was HIV positive. For a doctor he came off very ignorant and he gave no thought to how she felt. Even when she was forced to reveal her diagnosis with everybody he still didn't apologize, even though she did to him. I am absolutely disgusted with him right now and am going to need him to get it together! Now he's sleeping with a nurse that I'm sure he will dog out soon enough. SMH! Next, Carter and Benton! We already know how tough Dr. Benton can be, but the way he's treated Dr. Gant has been appalling. I get tough love and as a black man I understand we do have to work harder than others, but it feels like he is just searching for a reason to tear Dr. Gant down. Carter is annoying because he's friends with Gant and basically got sick of hearing him complain and pulled away from him. When Dr. Gant went to upper management, Carter lied about what happened to protect Benton and of course this led to Dr. Gant committing suicide. I will say that was a huge shock for me. In retrospect you could see how it happened, but I certainly wasn't expecting it to happen the way it did. Even after his death you have Carter lying about how moods so it isn't ruled a suicide. I feel like he did that to protect HIS feelings and guilt. I'm very disappointed in him! Now a doctor who has done a complete turnaround is Dr. Ross. You can tell since Carol's suicide attempt in season one, he's made a major effort to be a better person. I've loved seeing a very young Kirsten Dunst in a recurring role of a runaway teen that he has been helping. It's been nice seeing less of Dr. Ross' romantic life and more of him supporting his patients and coworkers. I'm beginning to fall in love with him. My Queen Dr. Weaver has had a more low key season, but I continue to love her. They really needed someone like her who is logical and there to do a job. She's one of the only people who doesn't let her personal feelings or life get in the way of her job.

I didn't even realize Sasha and Brando were dating like that. It is confusing to have her get pregnant when both characters could disappear and you wouldn't notice.

@YRBBStorywise all I know are things you couldn’t miss in the press like Kelli Martin getting stabbed. I remember that caught my attention because I loved her in Death of a Cheerleader. I know Dr. Greene dies of cancer because that was promoted endlessly and I know something happens with a helicopter. Beyond that I know some of the actors who join the show, but that’s it. It’s certainly unique going in so blind. My jaw is constantly dropping watching this show! I also am finding that it’s not making me want to watch another medical drama. This is spoiling me. I feel like anything else wouldn’t be able to compare so I don’t see myself watching another one anytime soon, once I finish ER.

I’m going to laugh if All Stars is everybody taking in Ramona! Considering how miserable she is on cast trips that makes perfect sense lol. I honestly can’t wait.

I don’t even like Kenya and I feel like what they did to her is wrong. Singling Kenya out is easy because she’s one of the black housewives who they are quick to make fun of and push aside in general. Just look directly at the issue with Kameron and Tiffany, they didn’t even address Kameron by name, but repeatedly mentioned what Kenya did. Hell, Brandi got an entire season of screentime so people could feel pity for her being racist. If they’re going to hold people accountable it needs to be consistent. I don’t believe they would’ve said anything if Tiffany had forced their hand. I do agree with @DaytimeFanthey need to go ahead and cancel it. If we’re being real, they’re 5 seasons in and still haven’t had a breakout season in terms of ratings or the zeitgeist. How many chances are we going to give them to get it right? They would benefit from resting the show similar to OC and bringing it back rebooted. Hell, based on how Miami goes they could simply replace Dallas with Miami.

They finally release a statement after Tiffany forced their hand by going to the press. That girl is smart! Getting the story in Variety gave it the visibility it needed to get picked up. The show is getting more attention on Twitter than it did when it aired lol.

Tagging her workplace is so much worse now that I realize the Westcott family has a financial stake in the hospital she works at. That is serious stuff and they are sick for doing that! Kameron lost me with liking the racist tweets, but that let me know this is much worse than I realized.

@TaoboiGer her, Tiffany! Bravo only has themselves to blame for this blowing up the way it has. They quickly reprimanded Kenya for her Native American costume, but are silent on the blatant racism from Kameron. She had to do something. My guess is she’s going to pull a Kandi and not agree to return if Kameron does.

Some random thoughts... Gloria Reuben definitely should’ve played Victoria Rowell’s sister at some point. I love how ER balances screentime so everybody doesn’t peak at once. Season two did such a good job of developing her character and that HIV reveal was incredible! The fallout has been great as well. She is doing an amazing job with this story. She has to portray so many layers of emotions while balancing how she can act with each character due to keeping her status a secret. I am exhausted for her! As I watch season three I’m devastated knowing Sherry Stringfield is leaving soon. I still find the story of her exit questionable. I just can’t understand how she just wanted to leave and somehow got out of her contract. I feel there had to be something more going on. Beyond that, I have to say she is fantastic. Whoever cast this show had an eye. Not one bad apple in the group. I’m going to miss the heart she brought to Dr. Lewis. She will be missed.

That preview has me excited for Sean’s send off! I had assumed Robin was the surprise guest because they kept side stepping mentioning her, but it looks like it’s someone else. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Sharon Wyatt which would just make it perfect. I know she’s had her health struggles so it may not happen, but that would be lovely for her to be able to pay tribute to her long term costar.

Welp. Looks like Tiffany is quitting. I don’t think they’re far off from filming so we’ll know for sure soon, but I’m not watching another season after a POC was forced off the show due to endless racism that went unchecked by the network. Any reboot with Kameron will be unacceptable to me.

I agree with you. I'm not as far as Marland's stint, I wanna say I'm at the beginning of 1971, but I hate the Pollocks writing. RetroTV starting with Rita Lakin was bittersweet because I'd never heard of her tenure and it was *so* good, so modern and nuanced and nothing was going to live up to that. Like you said, the Pollocks were incredibly plot driven and those flashbacks killed me. I don't think they've ever done anything I like. Another soap I struggle with currently is Santa Barbara. I have watched the first year and I'm still waiting for this glory period to start. I'm about ready to give up. Another one for me is General Hospital. I've watched off and on since the early 00s, but I have little interest in revisiting the past, which is rare for me when it comes to soaps.

She wasn't written anything like the Tina I remember or like her Ryan's Hope character (who had similarities of Tina). She seemed more like a young Viki if anything. Was Tina different when Andrea Evans first played her? I do agree Kelli would've been fine if written like Tina was in the late 80s-90s.
