I hope they got it on camera! I been telling y’all her lifestyle didn’t add up with what we’re saying! The “first assistant” she was arrested with is also the owner of the Porsche she drives around in. This is insane! I wonder if she’ll be able to continue filming.

I loved that interview. As I said before, Rae was one of my favorites and I loved what Michael and Kim brought to the story. I don’t mind Michael dying, but I do wish Kim and Rae had remained long term. I was happy that Louise stayed on despite her technical difficulties because she still got to give us some good stories. It made me sad to hear her talk about how she moved to writing due to her looks. To me she is gorgeous and it’s unfortunate she couldn’t have continued to be valued even as she aged. To me she remained gorgeous and if a soap were smart they’d use her similar to how B&B kept Stephanie viable as Susan Flannery aged. The acting should be the most important thing and Louise was a powerhouse.

I was surprised that neither Aidan or David Hayward made the jump to GH considering the connection to Anna and popularity of both actors, but if their handling of Alex is any indication, it might be better to not bring them over.

Alan is still in PR mode so i doubt he’ll do more than mention it exists.

I’ve never seen an episode of Loving or The City, but I was bored and this came up on my Youtube recommendations so I decided to watch. Ive heard the stories about how innovative The City was and finally getting to see it I was very impressed! The direction in the episode was a sight to behold. The cast also seemed fantastic. This felt like a daytime Melrose Place with the loft setting. If they ever decided to stream this I think it would hold up very well! Now I’m curious to see more and may even check out some Loving episodes.

Okay this looks excellent! Firsr things first, it looks like Eboni fits in PERFECTLY and will be a newbie that can jump right in with this challenging group of ladies. The small snippet we got of Heather vs Leah tells me I’m going to be Team Heather. Leah in general came off annoying. Didn’t get Bershan other than background, but I’m hoping she has a stronger presence in the mid season trailer. I assume filming for her picked up when Heather quit.

The way I saw it was, when she took the extended maternity leave, the show moved on and she’s never been able to recover from that. Even her connection to Phyllis was mostly replaced with Sharon. Once writers started changing over I feel all hope for her was lost because she wasn’t a main character when those writers came on. The only decent thing she’s gotten in 15 years was probably when she had the miscarriage. I think she even got an Emmy nom for that. I think if they were willing to write her a real story she’d do it, but being so stuck with Paul is also a character killer. She should be mixing it up with the major players not stuck with Paul.

Oh wow! That lineup I will definitely be tuning in for. I know many didn’t like her, but I was totally invested in the Rae/Kimberley storyline and I wish both characters had remained longer. Just in general I loved Rae so that could be why I accepted Kimberly. I can’t wait to hear what they have to say!

Andy hasn’t even asked for reunion questions yet, but has for ATL. I wonder when they’ll get around to Dallas? Surely the season must almost be done.

Tammin Sursok who was woefully miscast as Colleen Carlton on Y&R, couldn’t do an American accent to save her life.

I agree with y’all that Dallas came together in the way we were all hoping for. I felt like this episode was more balanced than the heaviness of Tiffany and D’Andra having to carry the season as they have. I mean they were still central to this episodes success, but I feel like Kary, Kam and Brandi (and Momma Dee) also contributed in a big way which made this episode spark. With that said, Brandi is still garbage and I am ready for her to be gone. The way she treated D’Andra was shameful and I question her motives. I’m glad D called the ghost hunting demon out on being a hypocrite. My question for you guys is....do y’all see Brandi coming to the reunion? There is absolutely no way I see that happening. None! Not with the video of her hubby cheating, the way she’s acted this season and lord knows what’s to come. She quit mid season for a reason.

@FrenchBug82But see, I don’t buy that she quit because of the workload, because she had expanded her role by the time she left. I think she quit because of Latham and used the “workload” as an excuse.

It’s funny how you mention them not knowing what to do with Valene. Fan opinion is split on that, but Joan *hated* their writing with a passion. I still can’t get over her quitting as soon as they arrived on Y&R. I think it’s a shame because her Gloria was more menacing, funny and nuanced. But it was like clockwork lol. Considering the stories they wrote for Judith Chapman, clearly she was right (again).

@TaoboiThose do look interesting. I think the cast in the first pic would be strong enough not to need friends. Truly the only people earning their paychecks this year are Tiffany, D’Andra, Kary and to a lesser extent Kameron. It would shock me if Stephanie returned, but I fear they’ll keep her as an OG. She has brought as much as Jen Davis this season. If she didn’t have talking heads you wouldn’t even notice her. Also, this is a very in depth article about the micro aggressions Tiffany has faced. It’s sad that she’s thinking of quitting the show because the level of racism was so overbearing.

From what I can find that doesn’t look like good news. I longed for them to get the app together, but from their website, It’s Real Good TV is just a 24/7 digital channel. So you wouldn’t be able to watch the show as you currently do streaming, just based on what it airs on the network.

Oh on Heather’s podcast with Kristen Takeman she dropped some more tea. She said because they had a cast of five they asked her to join full time which makes sense because she could easily be dropped in and has a good relationship with Andy who produces her podcast. She settled to return as a friend and film group scenes and the cast trips, but something seemed to have happened and she quit midway through. All signs point to something with Leah, but she didn’t reveal what exactly. She did mention she came in wanting to get to know the newer ladies but noticed that they’d done research on her and also she keeps mentioning the fourth wall being broken. She said she never wants to go back. At the very least I hope it means we’re in for some good drama lol.

Im sure this is fake, but I won’t deny it got me excited. I’m still manifesting an apple for Bershan!

One I’ll mention is Lynn Marie Latham. I know it was primetime, but she took an aging soap in Knots Landing and revitalized it in such a way that kept it current when the other soaps were slowly dying. Her new characters fit in well with the core cast and she respected what came before her. I didn’t watch Port Charles until she left so I can’t speak on that, but as we know her Young and the Restless was a mess. I do think her first year or so on Y&R was good. I loved the real, meaningful diversity she brought to the show and it was a good mix of business stories, family drama, romance and rivalries. What I think hurt her is when they made her EP and allowed her to fire the old writers and production staff. When they were working as a team it completely worked and was just modernized enough. When they left (and when Victoria Rowell left) it was over for her. She couldn’t seem to map out a week of shows beyond special primetime style episodes. Scenes became far too short and choppy and that balance we had was gone. I strongly believe had she remained HW with no EP title and had Jack Smith and Kay Alden remained they could’ve done great things

This episode missed Mariah! Even with her obvious recast trying to chime in, that just made me miss her more. I noticed Kari posted she wasn’t in the premiere because she hadn’t signed on yet. I’m guessing this was meant to be the cast, but they saw how dry it was which led to Kari, Lisa Nichole and Quad returning.

There was a Youtube channel I had found with playlists for 87 through at least 90 with a good number of episodes per year and Youtube deleted it! I was just at an episode in 88 where there was an explosion at a party. I literally watched maybe a month and it was getting so good before Youtube deleted it!

That’s what we thought about Susan Dansby returning as a Story Consultant but nothing came of it. Typically Y&R brings their New HWs in like that. Dansby has directing, writing experience and a recent primetime EP credit. If she can’t do it then they aren’t gonna promote Susan Banks who they brought on just as a script writer.

With Jen, her designer who designed her intro dress, reunion dress, Biden dress and outfits for pretty much every Photoshoot she did last year admitted he’s one of the people she was screaming at and that he no longer works for her. I’ve seen some people say we need to know the context, but under *no* circumstances should you talk to your employees like that. I hope the girls are messy and bring it up lol.

@TaoboiI didn't find this episode boring, but that two week break killed the momentum since it was in the middle of a trip. I do see what D'Andra meant when she said the midseason trailer purposely left stuff out. I assumed Brandi left because of the baby rumor, but I'm starting to think they're going to be heavily attacking Tiffany and she left before the heat got to her. I also find it telling you haven't had Kary on WWHL so I'm wondering if she does something in these final episodes.

The rumor probably came from Rinna! She knows there is an opening, so throw the rumor out there in hopes E! thinks it’s a good idea. I still maintain she was the one who leaked the Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy story. It amazes me nobody calls her on it when she admits she will do anything to stay in the press and she has said she creates storylines. The issue is that Brandi isn’t sorry. Let’s not forget she doubled down multiple times when first called out and only apologized when she thought she’d get fired. She’s weaponized her apology so nobody can criticize her. The reason she’s uncomfortable around Tiffany is because she KNOWS she doesn’t care and how easy it would be to skip up and be racist. Tiffany isnt perfect by any means, but she’s shown an openness to everybody in the cast. Like u said, if Brandi showed an interest and tried hanging out with Tiffany one-on-one she’d be more comfortable. She literally has a gift in having a Chinese cast member but isn’t taking advantage of it because she wants to be the victim.

At this point I give up on hoping he leaves. His job seems as safe as all the other 3 soaps HWs right now. I feel like if they were going to replace him it would’ve happened by now. I had hoped when Susan Dansby joined that she’d take over and now Susan Banks. Based on their resumes and history with the show they’d make sense for HW, but having black women running a show with a large black audience makes too much sense.
