RHOP Now that I got some wiggle room...let me talk about some of the episodes I've seen. In this case...Gizelle's Reasonably Shady anniversary and the non-appearance of Juan's Roommate. Not to mention Monique's return and how it litters the show. This season has been so good so far. And Monique's return has just added layers to everything. From hearing about her journey since then to the connections she already had (she knows Cookie, too?) to long anticipated meetings with the vets on the show, it was almost like she never left. Or for me, it made me think about Dr. Nicole's appearances on the latest season of RHOM though she was not a regular member. She FIT. A good return so far. Not that all of her storyline has been great *cough*StaceyChris*cough*, but her experience of being a Housewife helps her well. Even Karen feels like she has a storyline going on through Cookie and it's the fact she's AWAY that is the kicker. As for Gizelle's Reasonably Shady anniversary...Wooow. The Stacey/Chris storyline kept going and led to Stacey/Wendy tag-teaming on Keiarna/Angel was something that I won't soon forget. Stacey taking on Tia, Keiarna, AND Cookie was crazy and made a great cliffhanger because she really handled all of them. Second season curse...WHERE? And then all shade toward Juan's Roommate was welcome cuz why you being a Bitter Betty and not showing up to your own event when it was YOU who was the reason you are no longer on the show? GIRL, BYE. A good set of episodes that definitely felt like a great two-parter...and worked. GIZELLE. So...a rift between her and her BFF? Hmmm. I only say this because I saw a clip today where said BFF acted (?) like she didn't know Gizelle was cross-promoting for WICKED. And now this about her not wanting to film. It is funny since Production could easily edit her all the way out like Cha Cha at Wendy's event in Season 5. She can stay butthurt. Meanwhile, Gizelle continued to have surprises. She had a man there, sprung a man from LOVE HOTEL out at the event. Made sure to get a dig in on Stacey during the chaos. And of course, setting off Wendy vs Angel...which I loved. Still having a good season. WENDY. 'You got smoke for me?' OMG!!! I was LIVING for Wendy. Her twerking in-between an arguing Keiarna and Stacey is an image that I won't soon forget. Once Gizelle lit the match on Wendy vs Angel, Wendy TORE...HER...OFF. She had so much quotable moments. I hollered when she told Angel no one want her there. I REALLY hollered when she told Angel trying to have a moment and fell flat. And Angel deserved it so I can't hate on that. I can hate on any time Wendy talks about money though. Her wanting to do that whole remodel when...you know...I have no words. And it's nice to see her ability to have Stacey's back in subtle ways within scenes. And still picks on Stacey to her face...like a real friend. Something I felt they solidated by walking into Gizelle's event together. And then having Monique's back in ways. I was surprised given the last time they were around each other was the Season 5 reunion. So good to see them bond. ASHLEY. She will always get a lick in on Stacey. lol. That said...I didn't like how she felt a way about Josh. Her scenes with her mother though did resonate. This December has my mother in my feels. And that worries me. Because she won't always be there. I felt that from Ashley. KEIARNA. I feel so weird about her to be honest. I know the thing to do is to not like her. But...I do. I know...I'm in the minority. Perhaps for me, it's the fact that I see everyone's points about her. And it's clear it's that second season curse for me. BUT...she keeps me entertained. Even when she's getting roasted...which is all the time. And not being boring like Juan's Roommate. She's been at Stacey since the start of the season so her being gathered by Stacey was great to watch. And we know she has hands thanks to Sesame Street, so she has no right to get offended. And Keiarna has been the bone collector...for better and for worse. Meanwhile, she does have a personal storyline outside of the drama. Though I'm leaning toward her mother and her suspicions about Greg. Cuz he asked her to move in with him again? Really? Everything about that makes me go hmmm given how he was last season. Oh...and then that FOINE brother of hers...mmm. TIA. I see you, girl! I still love her, but I saw her stirring the pot a little bit between Wendy and Angel for sure. Meanwhile, I felt she was more genuine with Wendy, Stacey, and Temu because Stacey did lie. Even Production is backing that up. I also felt Wendy should understand why Stacey might not want her man around the ladies given the history of husbands on this show. That said...Stacey made herself look guilty not only by lying AGAIN, but coming for Tia at Gizelle's event. That said...Tia held her own. ANGEL. The only good thing about her is that foine thicc husband of hers and her sister cuz GIRL, WHAT IS THIS??? Did you not learn the first time you told your business to Gizelle and she ran with it. Then Gizelle did it again??? Le sigh. smh. And Wendy destroyed her. She really should have kept her mouth shut. I just can't believe how she continues to fail as a first-time Housewife by making all the wrong moves. STACEY. And still...SHE RISES!!! And I see it. Stacey and her potential takedown has been the central storyline for the most part. And...WHERE? lol. She has been handling herself so well. And her taking on Tia, driving Keiarna crazy, and dismissing Cookie is major Housewife energy. It's just sad that she continues to do questionable things. I wished she would just be honest about her ex-husband. Like I said, given how this group act with husbands, she has been in her right to keep him away. And stand on that. But I guess that would take away from the fun of her. That said...I also did not like her coming for Tia. And then all the stuff with Chris. Good to see her and Monique deal with the rest of that storyline quickly. I also like she has people in her corner now like Wendy and Jassi...who I am happy to see is still around post-wedding. This continues to be a great season. And it does seem to have...so far...avoided last season's trap of where it started off great, had that slow middle, and then got good again at the end. May it continue to do so.
