Who do you think should play Shawn D from DOOL?

Someone who has chemistry with Bo, Hope and Belle. That is if the new writers decide to go with the theme of a supercouple of Belle and Shawn. They need someone who definitely sparks with Belle if they want to keep MM as Belle. We, the viewers, need to feel the chemistry and believe in their love, so a new romance would be necessary to mend the mess created by JER and the cast change....in my view. I'd have to see the three interacting before chosing anyone, but have to trust the cast director.

Someone who can act. It would be refreshing.

Just someone who can act.

These are some vets I think might work:

Josh Casaubon (have to steal him from OLTL though)

Justin Bruening (would be my first choice if he wasn't tied to AMC)

Rider Strong (hasn't done much that I know of since Boy Meets World)

Justin Torkildsen

Jordi Vilasuso

There are some other good ones in that age group but not the right hair color and all.

I just want someone who can act and fits with Bo and Hope. Say what you want about Cook but he actually fit as Shawn but his acting leaves alot to be desired. I think they will just go with a newbie, which is fine considering what happened with Martha, but here are known names I would consider:

Rider Strong is interesting Steve-I always liked him. He may a good fit since he played the whole rebellious thing so well on Boy Meets World.

A newbie actor, not a known face.

I like Chad Brannon... he would be a better match against Kyle Brandt. Right now, he'd be my first choice.

Justin Bruening is an interesting choice, I like him too, but I don't know if I can see him as Shawn though.

Chad Brannon would be the best out of those possibilities. Brian Presley I'm afraid looks to old to play Shawn. And Colin O'Donnell, who used to play Shawn, would be perfect for the role despite he's only 19. If Langan never thought of the idea to SORAS Shawn, we could've seen O'Donnell grow up on screen. He had such chemistry with Kristian and Peter.

I think he might be a good choice. And a role like Shawn Douglas might help him shed the young actor image that he got from Boy Meets World.

My vote is for Brian Presley or Chad Brannon.

I also am not opposed to a newbie and DAYS has been on a role with casting newbies.

I wouldn't mind a new actor too, as long as he can act. But really, anyone would be an improvement
