Shawn-D is NOT some supporting role. We need someone who act FROM DAY ONE! This SHOULD NOT be a role for on-the-job training.

Just because someone's a newbie doesn't mean they can't act when they first arrive. Some people are just naturally charismatic,

It'd be cool if Eddie Cibrian (sp) came back to daytime. He's not doing so hot in primetime. They need someone more mature now for Shawn. If they get a newcomer, just let him be able to act!! Not like Kyle Brandt.

I think Rider Strong would be perfect! I loved him on Boy Meets World and I'm sure he's matured a lot as an actor since then. He looks the part too.

There we go-perfect. I think both would work and Strong would not be expensive. Plus, both can act and Strong is relatively a newbie as he only had one major role. He was great on Boy Meets World with the emotional stuff they gave him.

I do think they will just go with a newbie though for both Philip and Shawn. They have done very well with new actors. I would prefer they went with a newbie for Philip and an experienced actor for Shawn since he is a main character but whatever. Too bad Langan just didn't let us see Colin O Donnell grow up-he worked great with Kristian and Peter and wasn't bad actor.

If Cook could act, he would be perfect because he definitely fits the part. Maybe Days will consider Brian Presley for Philip and bring his wife on too . Although Brian may be too told for even Philip to be honest.
