The Carly Propping must stop. Its getting ridiculous now. We're supposed to believe Carly is so hot and desireable that all of these men who have nothing in common are talking about how hot she is. This is one character that needs less airtime. She didn't stop a minute between her "love" for Jax to try to sleep with Patrick and relizing her "love" for Sonny. Its just ridiculous now. I'm also sick of the Sam, Jason, and Sony and Emily Propping but I guess those rants are for another day.

One last rant. Maxie pad is a twit and Robin is an idiot for believing her when her instincts were telling her that she was lying. I can't wait until she is proven wrong AGAIN and she finds out this chick is stealing drugs and scheming on a married man herself.

Sorry, but I have to say that I don't mind the Carly propping. I really love the character of Carly and she's pretty much the only leading lady in daytime that I look forward to watching anymore.

Exactly. So cliched. They have no reason to be sitting there talking about that woman. Nothing about Carly is unattainable. She'd screw Nickolas in a hot second if he would let her see John. Hell, If Lucky wanted her, he'd have her. And you're right, Guza is sick. I was grossed out by the Lucky fantasy. All in the name of propping characters he created. It was sort of amusing when it was done with the women, but the men, its tired, stupid and superficial and all in the name of letting us think Carly is so desireable, all knowing, brave, heroic, blah blah all else that they expect us to believe.

Laura plays the character like she has a sense of entitlement to something, I'm sorry, Laura may be passable, but she's NOT that great of an actress. GH doesn't know how to write for female characters and it's a shame. For once, I'd like to see a strong, independent, and well-written female on this show.

With Laura, Carly totaly lost the vulnerable layers Tamara Braun instilled in that character, but that's not all her fault with the writing and all.

I agree with your assessment. Initially, I anticipated Laura in the role, but I love her interpretation and portrayal of who Carly is. Her incarnation is a one note shrew. Sarah's creation and the true standard bearer of who Carly Roberts truly is an insecure woman girl who puts on the bravado of a confident woman; she fought for everytihng because she wasn't entitled. I cringe every time Laura comes on screen. She can act, but she needs to dial down the !@#$%^&*]iness and stop scenery chewing.

With Guza writing, Sonny, Jason, and Carly are always right, they are always put up on a pedestal and characters are always trashed to make them look good.

Okay the episode hadn't aired yet when I posted a while ago, so I didn't read all the details but the bar scenes IMO were very good stuff, sexy and funny. The best stuff in that episode, with Lulu/Carly/Dillon. I was shocked when they went with Lucky having a fantasy of Carly, his cousin, but didn't you take that as a (nice) wink to GL. With Laura Wright (ex Cassie) there, it was pretty obvious (But, you're my COUSIN!). Plus, Lucky was high and he was confused. I don't see what was sooooooooo damn sick as long as I take it as a wink to GL. They probably wouldn't have done that otherwise.

Totally agree! I personally don't think it's Laura's portrayal as much as it is how Carly's being written.
