He agreed to recurring status, so someone/something must have caused this as Lauren, Micheal,Chloe,Kevin,Gloria,Traci,Nina,Ashley etc get airtime Although it seems the same thing has happened to Kate Linder only she's not talking, maybe in the hope they'll bring her back. There is enough going on that Paul could appear to discuss police matters if nothing else. When Lauralee appears, Paul and Christine could have some convos. They could do a mini story about Paul feeling depressed with Chris out of town. Lauren decides to cheer him up, They get reminiscing, drink a little too much and kiss. He did the rounds with rather bitter and acrimonious interviews which, legitimate his grievances might be, is exactly how NOT to preserve your chances for a return under a more benevolent producing team (the Victoria Rowell syndrom).
