lmao! So true. Captain Hook is PERFECT.  I laugh when he makes threats.

Preach.

I hate this forced coupling.

Time to dump Willow AND Sasha. Sasha has potential but they don't seem to care, even with her thing with Brando. I still keep waiting for her to be killed somehow LOL. She's a throwaway.

Time to bring back Serena and either cast Sarah or bring back Hayden. We don't really need Sasha or Willow.

Even being in a scene with Amanda Setton doesn't bring out any life in Katelyn MacMullen.   She brings nothing but reciting her lines as she learned them....

Sasha had sooo much potential--- not related to anyone, personality, but they saddled her with the phony daughter thing, Nina hating her........and Michael, (who should have grabbed Chase by the jock instead of punching him there.  At least he would have been acting like the son of Caroline Benson.)

It's honestly so inconsistent. And Cyrus is laughable. Laura should laugh in his face. His ego couldn't take it. He'd cry to mommy.

I tried to give MacMullen a chance, for quite a while now, but she's so blah. She sort of had chemistry with Swickard, but he has chemistry with a tree. I'm sure Hallmark can use her (not a diss towards her)

I like Mattsson and Sasha did have potential, but they kind of made her a non-starter with all the crap they gave her. I think she kind of has chemistry with Wactor/Brando, but I just don't care about either of them. Sasha could have been another retcon of Scott's or Mac's. Why not? LOL. But it probably wouldn't matter.

Willow should have been Christina, Lucy's daughter.

I have to confess, that contrary to public opinion on the board, I actually like Michael & Willow together.  I think it's nice to have two normal people that love their child.

I beg for forgiveness...LOL!

The fact that they are 2 nice people that are basically normal for a soap and just love their kid is boring!!!  I guess I can see the appeal but neither actor is great, they have no chemistry or heat, and they are literally the equivalent of watching paint dry.  Willow is a lost cause.  She looks bland, she acts bland, she's not connected to anyone, and I wouldn't miss her for a second if she was gone.  Michael should be better.  CD had potential when he started, but it's all gone downhill.  They should bring RAGEMichael Drew Garrett back.  I looked him up and he's pretty hot now and it's not like he's had much acting work.  Actually, they could just make DG Morgan and call it a day.

I think its nice to have a chill pairing on a soap but there's just no chemistry and CD just doesn't do it.  I'd recast him.

Oh and allow me to toss in that Valentin and Carly are sexy af!  The quad, if we must, should be Sonny/Carly/Val/Nina.  There is simply no room for Jax in this equation.  Dingo can exit!

I will pass on Valentin and Carly as a pairing. LMAO whaaaat?

I do like their scenes together and he gets under skin and JPS has the best reactions. Valentin has really come into his own since they gave the crying weepy villain thing to Cyrus.

    • IIRC, FC reruns aired for awhile on Lifetime, way before the network became the Women in Peril Channel, lol.
    • PAM!! YES!!! You have jogged my memory. She worked at Cedars. She's mentioned in a write-up of Tim's history in the show. It says she was a nurse, but I seem to remember she was a secretary at Cedars, working for either Ed or Sarah. (It's almost 50 years ago, so I definitely could be wrong). I'm certain she was an unwed mother. I recall reading an interview with the actress, Maureen Silliman (I looked it up, that's her correct name, LOL). She started on the show just before the Dobsons started writing it. She was shocked to get a script that said her character had been pregnant since she hit town. I remember a scene where she told Tim she was going to leave SF for a better job for her daughter's sake (really, I think she was upset he was serious about Rita). I don't remember them getting married and leaving town, but according to "Who's Who in Springfield" that's how the characters were written out. Mattson did All My Children for several years, so she might have been persuadable. Here's an interesting factoid I recently learned on these message boards: Elvera Roussel was in the running to play Delia on RH when the show first hit the air. How wild is it that Mattson played Delia for a while? (Though from what I saw of her performance, she was miscast). It's hard to know if Roussel would have been a good Delia. I would think she would have been better suited to playing Faith Coleridge, but who knows? She didn't get to show a whole lot of range as Hope.
    • If I were to do an EON reboot, I think I would start at the beginning, with Mike Karr leaving the police force in order to begin a new career as an attorney, and dealing with his wife, Sara's, crooked family.
    • I don't know if it was the writing or performance but I felt like we finally got to see the real Ted. Especially the way he talked to Martin when confronted, felt like a completely different person. He felt darker and like a total liar who was mad he got caught. I expected him to be remorseful and want to apologize to each and every family member who he came into contact with but he seemed like he didn't care. It completely changed how I view him and it makes me wonder if this is the direction they're going to take Ted in with the recast.
    • Tessa clarified a few years ago that she is gay and not bi.   I find it offensive that the show is teasing her with Daniel. Mariah told Sharon she went emotionally/mentally to a dark place, and while she was out of town on business she got drunk and did something bad.  But Mariah didn't say she cheated.  The show wants us to assume that, but she didn't say that.  She could have taken drugs or who knows what.  All we know is that she feels shame and doesn't want Tessa to know.  Mariah says the inner darkness is due to the longterm influence of Ian in the past, and she hasn't healed from that. With a *good* writer, we could have organic conflict in the Teriah marriage, without cheating.  But JG isn't a good writer.
    • Was that before his accident? I think it was. Most of us have never seen him before it happened.
    • I wonder if Falcon Crest wasn't seen as macho enough for them.  I first saw Dynasty on FX around 1994 or 1995. I think it ran for a few years, although I may be off as I moved and lost the channel for a while.
