One unfortunate effect of those "food poisoning" scenes is it made me wonder where Ciara goes to the bathroom if she's locked 24/7 in a glass cage with only a bed. Does she have a chamber pot under the bed or something?

I thought about that too. Was there a door to the far left of the cage or did I imagine that? Either way, that small tiny room could get stank real quick...

Oh My god I was wondering the same thing. Does she ever go pee or poop? I had the same thought when Charlie had Ava locked up.

You know, when OLTL's Dorian was held captive behind sound-proof glass (which ReRon undoubtedly swiped), I never wondered about such things because Robin Strasser, Erika Slezak, and the writers were killing it.

 

 

Watched those R&J scenes. And the Bard wept. Worse than a high school production.

Really bad. Surprisingly, Victoria Konefal was worse than Robert Scott Wilson — much worse. Really didn’t expect that at all, but she was horrible.

There's a door in the cage, which I assume is the bathroom - I guess if you're going through the trouble you might as well build a bathroom too. But yeah, I always wonder whenever they have these "people looked in a cage/tied up for months" plotlines where they do their bathroom needs. Search Party adressed this sort of in their latest season lol.

I fast forwarded the Ciara and Ben/Claire scenes. I haven't fast forwarded this show since I started watching about 10 years ago, but I can't take watching these characters anymore. The show is so much better when I just skip over this crap.

That Romeo and Juliet crap was total stan-bait. All it does is make me hate Cin even more. Lord. Make it stop. Just reunite them and WRITE THEM OUT TOGETHER. Be done with it.

Same here. I don't often fast forward either, but I had to this week lol and I'll probably be fast forwarding next week's round of Superhero Serial Killer as well.

The worst lol. 

 

It was such a stupid idea. Even if they were a likeable couple, their story is not similar to Romeo and Juliet at all.

 

And you're right, they should write them out. There's practically no story left for them anymore

I'd rather have seen John and Marlena play Romeo and Juliet, LOL.  Hell, give me Doug and Julie role playing! I'd take anything else. Even Victor and Maggie. LOL.

 

It's really time to let them go. If Konefal doesn't want to be here full time and if the show doesn't want to recast ... Ron or Albert Alarr are stubbornly holding onto RSW as Ben for some reason. Dump Ben and bring back JJ.

Because releasing a new cast pic of Cady a month before she leaves is... weird?

To be entirely fair, the whole "the-person-you-are-dating-is-your-long-lost-relative" story is a pretty old and common staple on soaps.

Y&R has done the story many times (Christine actually went pretty far with Scott Grainger before it was revealed).
I guess the current porn craze was predicted by soap writers!

I assume its similar to Marlena's Paris cage that had an unseen bathroom that allowed Marlena to change into her elaborate clothes and hair everyday. That's not sarcastic.  That's literally what I just assumed lol. This show..  I may be giving Ron too much credit 

The thought of the DH's doing Romeo and Juliet all OTT and gaspy sort of gives me life. I think I would truly enjoy that lol
