OMG could you imagine?? A 20-episode boxed set of the "Best of Katherine"? Our luck they wouldn't put any episodes from the 70's or early 80's with her when she was drinking and when she and Jill were at her finest fighting over Phillip and/or Derek, they'd do like they're doing this week and choosing episodes from 2005...2005?! are you kidding me?! or 1990? that's the best you can do? LOL try 1975-84 and then talk to me.....

Probably Stafford’s spin. Or was asked to resign.  The entire thing reeked of JFP getting rid of an actor/actress she didn’t see eye to eye, especially since Stafford was in contract negotiations at the time.

Ha ha ha! If I was nostalgic see old school names for the 2004 eps writing credits, seeing MAB, Sheffer and Hamner’s names made me shudder. What a mess going although I lot of people still enjoyed the show at this point.

After seeing Sursok’s work in Pretty Little Liars I wonder if Latham and MAB just didn’t give her competent material. The Aussie accent didn’t help but she had covered it well on PLL.

Finally got to watch a classic episode here in the NYC area. This episode was more entertaining than anything I had watched on YR these past few weeks.

Does anyone know where I can watch the rest of this week's classic eps?

Wow today's classic episode! LMAO!!! I knew they were going to start throwing the cake at each other! I didnt watch Y&R at that time so I am so confused on the whole Brock and Jill thing. So Katherine only gave birth once so it was either Brock or Jill? They were born on the same day? I love soaps but sometimes these ridiculous and contrived plots are way too much! Ewww I dont like that Billy! He was terrible! Poor Chloe but its obvious he doesnt want to marry her why is she going along with it? Love her 20's style dress, though!

    • I think Dani cares about her sister, but I agree with you. She's using this whole mess to be heard and make herself feel better. I wish Ted and Eva told her to fck off. I had to laugh when Dani commented on her and Anita confronting Ted. She acted as if they destroyed him. That's not what I saw. Dani has been dialed back from those first weeks, but I can't say she's likable. As long as she's throwing shade at Eva for her work as a hairstylist -- while ignoring that she did nothing except eat celery sticks and walk the runway -- she can kiss off. Barely tolerable, and Lindstrom is terrible in the role. I don't find him scary at all, and his money laundering plan is stupid as hell. I gagged when he texted Vanessa to ask if she was thinking about him. That's throw up time.   I just don't see how that makes Ashley any more interesting. And are we really asking for another storyline where a father connects with his adult daughter? I know there's no direct parallel to Eva's story, but come on. If you're in the minority, I'll join you. I have zero interest in any of that. -- I still fail to see Nicole and Vanessa as best friends. Nicole is grounded and stable and responsible, and Vanessa is not. It made more sense to have Dani and Vanessa being close. -- Ashley and Derek were actually OK today. I feel sorry for the actors, honestly, because they've been given nothing. It's crazy, because so much of the rest of the show is firing on all cylinders.
    • Same. But given how the writers like to have her have good moments and bad moments...and Dani has been background as of late...it's about time she had some bad moments.
    • I don’t even know why you responded to the bait.
    • I only watch for Sharon and she’s barely on. The only good thing going at the moment is Jack and Diane scenes and they’ve made Diane such a wuss lately which is making that unbearable to watch too
    • I feel like Earl Hamner and his crew brought in Richard* BECAUSE they knew almost right away that Robert Foxworth was so dull as Chase.  At any event, Richard, IMO, proved to be much more interesting as Angela's chief adversary. (*Or brought him back, depending on whether we're including the original "Vintage Years" pilot).
    • And it will also eventually air S2, which will air its finale in Canada this Thursday, May 15th! https://tvline.com/news/law-and-order-toronto-criminal-intent-season-1-2-the-cw-1235449356/ As an American that has managed to watch it in real time, it's very good. Frankly, I think it's the best of the L&O franchise as of now.
    • You are getting like me. It's getting to the point that without any Damian sightings...it's been the fashion that is holding my interest. And it should not be that way at all.
    • I don't mind Jan either. If anything, they could be using her more to get her daughter's POV. Not to mention her role as one of the Have-Nots.    I also don't mind the local talent. Just look at soaps that were in NY or the shows that film there, they always go for the local talent and we get to find new faves.
    • I'm not going to watch (because...well...that M-dude...lol) but knowing the history between Henry and Roger, I could see Henry wanting to enable Hart to stay independent of Roger. I could even see it as Henry having the last laugh at Roger. Roger hated "the Henry's" of the world, which basically meant anyone who had money and social prominence. Twice Roger swindled Henry out of a chunk of his fortune, so giving some to Hart, who hates his father, is a form of karma.
