ChitHappens Members Share Posted March 6, 2020 One of the best to ever do it! Not many can play a villain you love to hate. RIP
DRW50 Members Share Posted March 6, 2020 Oh that's sad to hear. Roscoe was one of the most charismatic actors a soap could ever hope to have - Mitch Laurence was pure fire, even as the writing fell right off a cliff. And he was absolutely terrific as Robert on Santa Barbara - the only one who ever came close to threatening the popularity of Cruz and Eden.

DramatistDreamer Members Share Posted March 6, 2020 Oh damn. I remember him from his brief time on Y&R and he left a lasting impression even in those stints. Roscoe Born was a talented and generous actor and a kind man to boot. He would often say that everything he did was for his daughter. My thoughts are with her and his family today. #RIP https://t.co/rY9ZANc1qW — Greg Rikaart (@gregrikaart) March 6, 2020
Vee Members Share Posted March 6, 2020 (edited) Long live the Messenger. I'll also never forget his soulful, decent and very sexy character on The City. Edited March 6, 2020 by Vee

I just saw this: Nick was a real departure for him but he made it work. I wish the show had known more of what to do with the character.

I think Nick may have been my fave role of his I liked Mitch but he became a cartoon especially with the 2009/2011 returns I liked Joe on RH. Joe and Nick seemed to be his most human roles Edited March 6, 2020 by John
Faulkner Members Share Posted March 6, 2020 Wow. I’m shocked by this. He was absolutely gorgeous and amazing and could send chills up my spine more than most soap actors.
