The newest Soaps in Depth confirms that Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake) is leaving General Hospital and he may be headed to another soap.

Jamey Giddens of Daytime Confidential tweeted that he is coming to Y&R.

Hmmm. A recast - interesting. I don't have a problem with JT joining Y&R - from what limited stuff I've seen of his, he can act. It's an interesting move - there's must be a lot more as to why he would just trade one show for another. 

I'll take him as Billy but I have a bad feeling Hartley is out.

Gotta take what you can get at the moment I guess... and pilot season isn't upon us anytime soon really.

If JH was out he'd be gone. He started filming last August. His contract would have already expired unless he signed an extension then he's not out

With TC  as his leading lady then KeMo cant blame him. At least TC improved lol

ugh I don't want JH to leave.....I can't see JT playing Adam at all.....I would have no problem killing off Adam for real if Hartley really is leaving....

now Thompson as maybe a recast J.T wouldn't be bad....even if that means Snortoria is forced on him....how bout Cole Howard even....(if they were clever to go back that far)

Thank you Carl! I thought I was the only one on this board not impressed with him as an actor.

I mean he's had his moments, but I think he was lucky to have the Scrubs pairing. Outside of it he seems to just shrug.
