As I recall "smart tv" gave us Porney, Austin, Dullard, Avery in the kitchen, etc. Yeah, that was really smart TV. While I have some issues with the show, it is far more watchable and entertaining than it has been in years. Vets are all over the place, stupid "let's keep a secret" or "misunderstanding" are usually done in a couple of episodes (see Sage DNA test - that would be dragged out for weeks; Sharon texting Avery - handled in a couple of epiisodes), that's far more realistic and it keeps the show moving.

I still have problems with no Jill, GT's Phyllis (the writing, not GT), Sage, but overall it's still better than itt was six months ago. The got me back after going down to about one episode a month from 5 days a week.

Agreed. There's absolutely no logical reason why he hasn't told her. On top of that, I guess Phyllis finally noticed a difference today. After years of sleeping with Jack she doesn't notice the difference with Yack. After a month of Yack, she notices right away when Jacks back. Whatever.

That was lame! In 10 minutes he took him (offscreen) and brought him back. The promo definitely made it seem a lot longer.

I doubt they were even going to address it until Logan brought it up during his interview with Pratt & JFP.

I decided to skip the 7/27 episode, then I found out Anita was on! Rats! I wish she was on more, that woman is hilarious.

Anita is a mostly harmless MAB leftover from a time when MAB was obsessed with hiring faded B-list stars for publicity purposes. Of course she's certainly more interesting than most of the cast at the moment.

Jack not telling Phyllis the truth about everything pronto is embarrassingly bad. It was a huge issue back in the 90s for Ashley after learning about the truth about the Blade/Rick switch but it seems so minimized at the moment as an afterthought.

Jack just got out of the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, but today's episode showed him shirtless, numerous times, and there was no bandage or wound. Who on the set should be in charge of this....it's so friggin sloppy.

I've always liked Anita, too.
