How many times can it be done before soap audiences say enough? It's boring, repetitive and lacking any creativity. Pratt is writing this soap in his sleep. He's putting no effort into creating original, compelling stories, and CBS and Sony are letting him get away with it.

At least Wendy Riche would care about Y&R. I don't think JFP gives a hoot about the show. Pratt definitely doesn't.

The show is in kind of a sweet spot in that TPTB know that they can throw anything at the audience and they'll continue to watch on a regular basis. It's a lunchtime habit for many, many viewers. They've got this huge (well, huge, compared to other shows) viewership that is deeply entrenched, I'm guessing Pratt was brought in to replace Jean and Shelley, not so much as to increase the quality of the storytelling or to rebuild the show's integrity, but to really push the plots OTT and build a certain momentum to the storytelling that's been lacking so that viewers would be compelled to tune in during sweeps months when the stories climax. It's all about the bottom line.

Loyal, I see what you're saying. Good point. But how long will people watch this [!@#$%^&*] out of habit? I have a death grip on the show since it's the last soap I'm watching. Maybe there are others in the same boat. I really really am holding out hope that Chuck won't be there for long.

At least Stitch has some sense when it comes to Sharon. I didn't even think they knew each other. Have they interacted before?

Abby's self righteous ass needs to stfu already. She's extremely irritating today. When Sharon is found to be innocent, she needs to knock Abby's ass down in the dirt. Hard.

More Avery and Joe. Blah.

And lord have mercy. Mr. Hartley is smokin hot. The man is beautiful, ok?

Yes he is. Too bad that love scene with Chlesea was so excrutiatingly awkard. I blame MCE but JH didn't help matters. They both seemed very aware of the camera and not into each other at all. JM and SC either don't give a [!@#$%^&*] that everybody's watching or fake it really well because they seem to let it go much more in their sex scenes with each other and with other actors. Sick (Sage + Nick and I say that with love and admiration) wins the love scene, relationship reality prize for me this week.

I know you're a Sick fan, piper ;-). At least someone is enjoying those two. I really really wish Sage would just go away. I don't like the character, and the actress grates my nerves.

The beginning of their love scene was a tad awkward. Maybe because JH is so much taller than the other guys MCE has been paired with? He's like 6'4" or some [!@#$%^&*], right? Once they were horizontal, it improved IMO.

Michael Baldwin's face is permanently stuck on stank, he always looks mad. And is this house arrest going to lead to Michael sleeping with Sharon? Wouldn't surprise me if that happened, since Michael is being distant from his wife.
