The Actress playing Nicole is a total natural. Really Liking her; She has a striking presence. I was fooled -- the look she gave at the end got me. What the hell is she up to?

I love how they used handheld camera technique for all the Brooke angles to accentuate her unstableness during the scenes with Quinn. It was very well done!

I agree with above poster - Nicole is very natural and I really like her. I hope that story, wherever it will go, will not be a total letdown. Please more of that and less Brooke/Deacon/Quinn. They bore me. Although I must say I'm surprised RS is still around 1,5 years after her debut.

Well. No comments again. I'm personally enjoying the show immensely still laugh.png

Brooke & Wyatt wub.png LMAO. Loved their talk. Too bad Wyatt didn't want to stay and have fun with drunk Brooke.

OMG, I'm pretty spoiler free so I was not expecting Brooke to fall. Girl hit her head HARD. What will this amount to?

When Nicole knocked on Rick's door in her short shorts & revealing top I was like is this little girl trying to come onto him? LOL. They didn't seem to directly indicate that at all but I was still wondering. They're laying it on just a tad thick with her curiosity over Rick/Maya's relationship I think, but I'm still interested enough in what she's here for. Last scene revealed Maya definitely has a secret. Whatever could it be?!

Aly and Ivy are so rude and annoying throwing subtle shade & eyerolls at Nicole on her first night. Sure their suspicions could be valid but they don't need to be so damn mean when Nicole is nothing but cordial back. They should be trying to be BFF's with her and getting the real scoop on Maya instead of acting like selfish, snooty brats.

Right. If they are going to make Rick the tyrant with Maya as his right hand woman, than Aly and Ivy have to be better than that. Otherwise, don't they basically deserve what Rick is dishing out? I don't see it that way yet, but we are headed down that road. Plus Aly and Ivy are generally shown to be nice, so need to make them bitchy with Nicole just because she's new.

I caught the episode online last night (B&B is too damn short to be putting up with all those commercials!) and the one thing I really noticed was the mixed signals being traded in those scenes with Aly, Ivy and Nicole. At one point, I thought I saw Aly roll her eyes (I think when she had her back turned to Nicole in the kitchen) yet after Nicole left, Aly said to Ivy "...she seems nice enough..." before going on to state that in the beginning, Maya seemed nice too. The attitude they were giving when she was there contrasted to what they said after she left the kitchen. That was kind of a clumsy scene. Like everyone else, I'm intrigued by Nicole. She's being introduced and acclimated to the landscape pretty well so far. I wish Y&R (who never does this well anymore) would take note on how a character should be introduced.

I think even a friendship between Brooke and Wyatt would be enough to drive Quinn crazy (and Deacon jealous). Can you imagine? Wyatt escorting Brooke to AA meetings and stopping for dinner afterwards? They wouldn't even have to sleep together but in Quinn's messed up mind it would be yet another man in her personal circle that has become Brooke's latest intimate. Not to mention when Hope returns, she'd be confused and probably astonished. I'd be here for that.

If Spectra were still around headed by a recast, revamped CJ (honestly, it should probably have been the actor who last played Thomas Forrester), and/or Clarke, I would've loved for them to lure a disenchanted Aly, convincing her that because of Darla's loyalty to Sally, Spectra is just as much her family as Forrester. I miss Clarke Garrison! With an absent Thorne, Clarke would've made the perfect svengali, er, I mean surrogate Dad for Aly. But I guess B&B is all about forgetting Spectra these days.

I'm now reading the recaps and then deciding to tune watch via DVR. Definitely liking Nicole - Ivy/Aly attitude made me glad for the way Rick has been treating them! It was just a good reminder for all the 'class' the Forresters are supposed to have - they really don't. I am glad that Nicole 'suspects' what we all 'know' and that's good - even if it's a repeat of a similar story that played out in the mansion a few years ago. By saying it out loud, it makes her suspicious looks and sneaking around that much better - she's on a specific mission. Oh, and, major kudos to the casting department - she looks like she's a winner - both from acting potential and certainly good looks. I am curious why the writers are forgetting Rick/Maya's past - they make it seem like he latched on to her after Caroline v the fact that Maya fell in love with him years before when she thought he was just a waiter. Unlike other 'reunited' scenarios, that makes a big difference - it also explains why Rick knows Maya's feelings for him are genuine.

The sad thing is they have done very little to make her character 'memorable' in any manner. Shoot, we've already seen more shades of Nicole in just, what, five appearances? It's a bit unfair to the actress because she does have soap cred. The Vine is just there to prop Liam, Ally and, even, Rick. She showed some life in her scenes with Steffy, but that's about it. The scenes are very benign and, for as much as she's been on, I don't get any sense of the kind of person she is.

True, but at least we had Hope's history (through Brooke & Deacon) that could allow us to fill some blanks about her - like "Hope the Future" and the chastity belt - made sense because that IS how a daughter of Brooke "Follow my Heartgina" Logan would act. I read the recap for today - it sounded downright awful. You know, there is no way that Maya, wouldn't pull the reigns on Rick a little tighter - making her so insecure is NOT what people want to see. The whole point of Rick/Maya was that she made him feel safe and was loyal to him, that wasn't a ticket to letting him run wild. Clearly, they've decided that they want Rick to be so bad to push the other stories, but there are different ways to do that.

Also, as I said a couple of weeks ago, I don't think JY likes doing those 'mean' Rick scenes - he looks uncomfortable. Contrast that to Tuesday's scenes with Maya where he looks completely relaxed. I know I'm not imagining it. I watched him enough over the years and I do perceive a difference in his style. (He's also really good at 'fighting back,' but this mean thing is just weird.)

So everyone is going to be OK with Quinn again being front and center and conniving, with no issues whatsoever? Wyatt and his Mother are the downfall of this show. Brooke doesn't remember ordering Vodka because she didn't. Quinn ordered it and sent it to her house. Wyatt and Quinn are both despicable people. We just never delve into the fact that Quinn didn't go to counseling - she proved it today when she didn't understand why Deacon wanted to go to a REHAB/AA MEETING. They had her say something stupid like..."What happens there?" Don't you think someone who had been there would understand what it EVEN IS? Nicole - already useless character unless something changes quick. Another prop-up for JY/KM/Maya. I disagree that he looks uncomfortable...he looks right at home to me. And the comment of Aly and Ivy "throwing shade"? How many of you would give up your bedrooms for someone moving in? I sure wouldn't. Rick has realized his spoiled brattiness that is TRULY Forester. FAR and above Ivy and Aly ever were. And now Maya and her sister are along for the ride-on-Rick. But this is good storytelling? This is horrible for women of ANY color.

What happened to a few weeks ago when people on this board were making fun of the fact that Nicole was introduced and then disappeared for 3 weeks? Nicole/Actress/Intrigue - don't see it. Don't see the actress, don't see the intrigue. Total plot device just like Rick and Maya right now. Only that's gone on for far too long. Show is a disaster, and it's all so transparent and easy.
