I think it helps that a lot of her work looks settled and so she's not trying so hard to emote and it's not the stupid campy stuff with Scott and Lucy. She's on contract but is never actually on and has zero story. I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Easton left too. I think the show has somewhere around 30 people on contract. Stafford is another story, but I think Vee is right that they won't want to admit they're wrong. If ABC is getting involved, of course, they may not have a choice.
