Like Y&R's Kay and Jill, DAYS's Kate and Sami will go down in daytime history as one of the great symbiotic relationships, different than Kay and Jill, but no less iconic.

Koslow and Sweeney have the most beautiful chemistry, I'm sure they were shedding real tears, knowing their scenes together were dwindling.

When Kate pulled Sami into that hug -- and the follow-up where they pulled back and talked about how Kate almost maybe kinda really likes Sami -- was all genius. It was touching in such a screwed-up way. The minute Kate grabbed Sami for that hug, it confirmed what we've known for many years: that the reason Kate has always hated Sami and not wanted her with her boys is because she knows that Sami is her, 25-30 years earlier. And I loved Victor barging in and interacting with both of them. This is the kind of stuff present-day Days excels at.

Anne is so delusional....LMAO. Loved her going on about being recognized for her skills and being oblivious to Kristen using her.

I cant with Tammy Sue and her material. Just end this storyline

Hollywood wants to build a Sami Brady brand? Really?

I wish I could say there's been a lot of things to get me to watch but there hasn't been. Not even the EJ death interested me very much. I hope the show can turn itself around because it feels like all of 2014 has been basically just treading water and when anything interesting begins to happen it takes the predictable route and we're back to months of nothing. IDK. The show's been a mess this year IMO. And becoming "Daniel of Our Lives" has not helped one bit.

I've enjoyed Kassie as Eve but Eve as the predictable villain in the JJ/Paige boremance has caused me to lose interest. Teresa at times can also be a bright spot, as can Anne <3.

I love the slow burn of Hope and Aiden.

Kristen's return has been a waste, IMO. Zzzz.

John in his millionth coma ... zzzz. Obviously he's awake but still, it's just predictable and typical.

I also hate the way Eric is being written, how Nicole is being villified, how Jennifer is a complete unrecognizable shrew, how JJ lost his edge, how Paige is boring as !@#$%^&*] ....

Oh, I like Ben/Abby and nuChad has 100% grown on me, so there's potential there. Let's hope Kate Mansi sticks around.

I also have checked out of Wilson. Just don't care. Sonny deserves better and they have no idea what they want to do with Will. Every bit of drama has been sucked out of them. A secret is kept for years and it's a shrug of the shoulders basically. Sigh.

Days is wonderful lately and like always I cannot wait to watch it in the evening when I get home..DVR is wonderful..Still have not gotten over EJ's death but hopefully, in soap fashion, he will be back..Clyde is a molester and cannot wait for Jordan to tell someone about what he did to her. I do not think Mom is even dead..but he is laying a guilt trip on her for that. Love this show,

So it is okay when you bash someone I like. I never come back at you when you gush over someone I hate. I will continue to defend Daniel and if you don't like it don't read my defense of him. I would never stoop to bashing someone you really like..and there are some I sure could.

    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube! I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power. I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great. My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch. I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps. Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    • I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song! I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age. From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along? Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out. Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin? I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
