Y&R: TMZ reporting on Michael Muhney

HK seems to be the only one who is handling the situation appropriately (no surprise there).

Some of these fans are truly showing their asses and it's not a good look.

However this all ends up in public and in the media, I hope that MM gets they psychological and psychiatric help he so obviously needs. And I defy anyone to disagree that he needs therapy after seeing that self that he posted of himself without pants.

I don't want to see in on Y&R and I think that he should probably take a sabbatical from acting for awhile until he gets the help he desperately needs because after reading about his actions behind the scenes at VM, it seems as though he cannot effectively handle the trappings of even minor celebrity and he would most likely carry his issues on to the next show. He's got children and he will still need to be a father to them, that should be his main focus, which may or may not include acting in the future but it needs to include psychological/psychiatric therapy.

The actors who are tweeting are not helping matters but they're probably tired of fans/stans showing their asses on Twitter and are bursting at the seams to respond. I said this awhile ago about soaps in general but I think Y&R/Sony need to have a talk with staff/crew/talent about social media use in regards to the show (outside of the show, I don't think should be the company's domain but the individual). I don't think the actors should be left to field questions and complaints about storylines, character development, technical aspects of the show, etc unless it is in 'direct relation to a CBS/Sony Twitter chat directly set aside to Y&R.

He's gone from the show and his ouster was justified and no amount of sky writing airplanes will change that. His fans need to let him slink off into the sunset and get the help he obviously needs.

That was never a realistic possibility. If I could wave a magic wand and give her the anonymity she deserves, I would, but it was always going to be leaked. There were too many people demanding answers and too many people who knew what happened for this to ever stay under wraps. If it had been another actor, maybe, but MM is a lightening rod.

Sure there is. Memorizing gets harder as we age. I'm not even 40 and I notice it. But WHO CARES?! Needing help to memorize dialogue when you are nearly 70 is not a sin. Coming after EB is completely ridiculous. The more some people try to deflect, the more desperate they seem.

Me too. Other than in the case of a minors and rape victims, I have heard an outcry to protect a victim of sexual harassment or any other violent crime.

I have no doubt that HK wanted to stay anonymous from the public and not draw this type of attention. But she was courageous enough to stand up to MM's sexual abuse and file a complaint against him so I think that she is a strong young woman who can more than deal with MM's rabid fans. She is right to stay silent publicly until she is ready to comment on her own terms. However, it is great that her co-workers are standing up for her publicly against MM's crazy fans.

Edited to Add: I have really been impressed the staunch defense of HK and women who are victims of sexual abuse on the soap boards. The Y&R posters on SOC have been a revelation. Most of them have beaten back any rationalization of MM's behavior. They have been completely supportive of HK.
