I honestly think SONY will never put the Bells back in charge of Y&R. They let Maria run amock for years and her ratings stunk and she was so overbudget and the show was horrible. So far JFP has had higher ratings every week then Maria's tenure, she has brought budget down and Y&R is making a bigger profit. Jill probably laughs at these boycotts shes had these for years. She is the most talked about EP on internet IMO for soaps ever. If JFP was not at Y&R she would be at DAYS LOL. To be honest I think DAYS fits JFP more then Y&R but anyways to be honest she aint going anywhere. How does a woman like this stay in the biz for 35 years straight with zero unemployment? She was bosum buddies with ABC prexy Angela Shapiro, Brian Frons and now Steve Kent is even more cause they go way back to Santa Barbara LOL.

Honestly....

Knowing full hand and remembering Phelps tenures at GL and AW(Ghost Reva, back to back serial killers, and off casting and all etc.) I had zero expectations of her hiring at Y&R so therefore I technically haven't been disappointed really by Phelps' tenure at Y&R because I never set a bar at all. In fact I think Phelps' first year has been more bearable and less offensive than what I watched during the MAB era. Yes I have some serious problems with the writing, but nothing has made me absolutely disgusted yet; Delia's death is awful but nothing to what I felt about Colleen, Diane, Liz etc.

The biggest offense of Phelps to me? Continuing some of the nonsense already started by predecessors Smith, Latham, and MAB/Sheffer/Rauch/Hamner without taking into it consideration it would be best to end it finally. Really all I ask is for better writing.

I don't even think JFP is half of Y&R's problem. Though I think her music choices and set redecoration has been poor, the show hasn't deviated much from the look of the MAB days, which were a vast improvement on the LML sets and lighting.

It's the writing that's killing Y&R and it's been the writing since LML.

One I'm not sure you comprehend that there are multiple budgets for different aspects of the show.

Sharon's a lost cause at this point. The best thing that anyone could have done for her character is get rid of her. I cant fault JFP for her being a mess.

Honestly Michelle stafford has been mum on JFP. I really believe her and Jill got into it. As we have seen in the past Jill can be a nasty bitch to anyone who makes an enemy out of her.
