I think she would have been good instead of Krista. I'm glad they brought Andrea in for the 1985 run but Kelli would have been a big improvement over Krista in 1994.

While there can never be another Roger Thorpe, then and now I can't help but feel truly bad for Dennis Parlato. The guy truly believed he was a placeholder for a fellow P&G Soap Actor, only to find out later that he was a patsy in the soap press because no one knew what was going on with Michael Zaslow at first.

While I can't help but wonder what these scenes would have been with Zaslow, I tip my hat to Dennis Parlato for doing his absolute damndest to give the longtime GL viewers the closure they truly deserved.

Sorry, but two big no-nos on the list for me. Hunt Block's turning of Craig Montgomery from a complex, tortured character into a one-note cartoon is not my idea of great recasting. Similarly, Scott Holroyd made Paul Ryan into a many-layered son of Stenbeck, as opposed to Howarth, who had just two expresions during his whole run: The Blank Stare and The Blubbering Explosion.
