Apparently the "secret witness" that the GOP is relying on in their ridiculous investigation (of the supposed ties between Clinton and Uranium One) is a lobbyist for Russia.

Exclusive: Secret witness in Senate Clinton probe is ex-lobbyist for Russian firm

It all goes back to Russia. Speaking of which-

Kayla was 24 when she married 38 year old Roy Moore and it just so happens that she was a classmate of one of his accusers. That 14 year age difference fits with the age of the other accusers and he stated that he saw her some years before they were married in a recital. She is absolutely wrong for defending him, but she is the victim of an incredibly sick man and I feel it's important to remember that aspect. Not all victims escape their abuser and some become totally beholden to them. Let me reiterate that I am not excusing her defense of him, but only pointing out that she is not a well person.

Barack doesn't NEED to come back.  He worked his ass off for eight years.  He has more than earned his rest; and if we're feeling remorse now, well, that's our own, damn fault.  'Cuz he tried.

I think Chance likely knows this.

The song is more like an ode to regret for taking someone for granted and realizing how life is without them.

From the Obama "crush song" (remember that?) to this, I just find it interesting how many songs have been made about Obama from then until now. I'm sort of curious to see a count of just how many songs have been penned about Obama?

Valerie Jarrett, retweeted this and thought it was pretty funny.  She thanked Chance for all he does to support young people in Chicago.

And can't come back in any case. No one can save us from this administration. I don't even believe Mueller can, although I would love to be proven wrong.

I do think he'll find wrong doing, but by the time he gets Trump out the damage will be done. Maybe it already is done when it comes to things like loosening these white nationalists on society. It's going to take a lot to get that cat back into the bag.

Archibald Cox and the Saturday nigh massacre didn’t save us from Nixon it was people. My friend Peter from Indiana who is a Trump and Pence hating republican has said it so many times to me when I complain about the dirty tactics. VOTE. Because even he acknowledges there are more liberal sided people in the US . He’s said for years if liberals show up in the same numbers republicans do, the GOP would  never win an election again. That’s why 2008 had the GOP so nervous was turnout but like the lazy butts we are, we fooled ourselves and let our country and Obama down by not showing up after that. Even 2008 which was high numbers still had 63% turnout,  that’s not really impressive but that it is for us should say more about American voters than anything.

Virginia for example had had good turnout for an offterm election but it was still 49%.

    • Elements of it were silly, but it was a small price to pay to get Zas back. I should say there's a difference between in town and out of town returns. It's understandable for Roger to skulk around town in a bad wig and clown suit when he's in Springfield and running the risk of bumping in to people he knows.  Taking us out of town to find someone always has a short shelf life. Then it usually becomes about another character knowing X is alive but determined to keep them out of Springfield. Like Alan discovering Amish Reva. I don't know how long it went on, but it was probably twice as long as necessary.
    • Elizabeth Dennehy complained on the Locher Room about how ridiculous so much of the writing was for Roger's return. She laughed at so much of Roger's antics and how it was hard for her to take them seriously. Probably another reason she was fired as she didn't play the game.
    • Only thing I enjoyed was Abby / Olivia, etc., and the addiction storyline. Otherwise, I could do without the season.
    • Right? Vanessa had a ball gown for every occasion.
    • Roger's return storyline may have been silly but Roger's return was what lead to GL's last golden era.  It was the combination of Roger's return and Robert Calhoun becoming EP that got GL to finally hit it's stride after some really bad years. It will always disappoint me that the ratings during Robert Calhoun's run didn't reflect the quality of the show.
    • He also gave some of the best episodes, like the episodes surrounding Doug's death. The problem with Days was that Ron had a horrible vision from he top. I don't feel the same for MVJ and nothing that has happened in all these months suggests she doesn't have a handle on the show. Now if it becomes an issue I'll acknowledge it, but I'm not seeing it so far.
    • Jean Hackney was awful and that lead to Ben's exit story which sucked. I liked Ben/Val together. Val's love for Ben was that of a grown woman moving on with her life and Ben's love for Val made him willingly decide to raise another man's children as his own.
    • It wasn't just a GL thing, it was an 80s thing. Opulent party scenes on soaps were very big back then. Even in regular episodes where people are just going to dinner they're dressed up like they're going to see royalty.
    • Just started the May 27 episode and first thing I see is that Willow got an ugly haircut since hte last time i watched   I dont have the context for how everthing went down but I know its all Lulu's fault which make her a bish for what she did to Gio
    • I'm pretty sure he was. But point taken. GL really had a thing for masked and costumed balls/parties in the '80's. Everyone looks fabulous, but those poor costume designers.
