When will this great show ever land on one of the streaming channels?

I'm surprised it's not on Amazon. They only have Dallas and Dynasty. The same two that got a full dvd release.

I also find the tagline amusing because Knots was supposed to be about average people living in a cul-de-sac, but in reality, a house in Pacific Palisades (which Knots fictionalized) would be around 4 million dollars, whereas the real Southfork Ranch today is estimated at 5 million, so Gary and Val weren't exactly slumming it...

Actually, the McKenzie house would cost you a bit over a million dollars today: https://www.coldwellbankerhomes.com/ca/granada-hills/16972-crystalaire-pl/pid_39199775/?fbclid=IwAR0aPxkN6GlZ_VHexqJQLH78eXkupxl8oAZdG7KH4q5bvLlwJDrbVEdmNuE

Either way, the reruns for the prime time soaps were lousy, hence why they produced so many episodes while they were still profitable.

The cul-de-sac used for Seaview Circle, in reality, backs up onto a freeway (as opposed to the ocean that was depicted in the KL opening credits). I’m sure that helps keep the prices down.

Lorimar became Warner Brothers Television.  I am hoping HBO Max (Warner’s streaming company) will eventually have a lot more classic Warner material as time goes by.  Especially since only three seasons have been released on DVD.  The show doesn’t even get really good until near the end of the fourth.

I don't think it'll ever happen unless more seasons are released on DVD. You'd think that the two that have been released would pop up somewhere at least, but I don't think they ever have. Even Falcon Crest is available for streaming purchase on Prime.

Falcon Crest sold better on DVD than Knots. There was suppose to be a season 5 release of FC but it never happened. Not sure why since WB said it would happen.

if we have any soap on HBO max it will be Dallas. Wonder Woman was just added and it had a full dvd and blu ray release.

I've been on a KL binge. At the end of season 7. Why isn't the show held in thr annals as The West Wing or St Elsewhere?

Because, KL rarely made any bones about being a soap opera; and soaps are always on the low end of the TV totem pole.

I love her regular Bill updates. He seems to be the main cast member she meets with regularly. I wonder if he still has his restaurant in California.

Maybe I am misguided but Knots Landing seems to be a rare primetime show where groups of cast members still seem to meet regularly.
CmC and BD on one hand and of course the three ladies (DM, JvA, ML) seem to hang out quite often for people who haven't worked together in thirty years. It is nice to see.

This isn't that great, but it's an old anthology horror show written by longtime soap scribes Mel and Ethel Brez, with a juicy, bitchy part for Julie Harris.

Can someone help with that ?

I already have season 1 and 2 so I'm looking for 3 to 14

I also have another series Dallas, Dynasty and the Colbys.

I think it’s still on YouTube under a private account.

Once again Constance McCashin (Laura) posted a new photo of herself, Bill Devane (Greg) and this time joining them is Nicolette Sheridan (Paige)
