I loved today's eppy. The Hope/Bo/Chelsea scenes had me crying. I like that Chelseas cried when Bo and Hope hung Zack's ornement. It showed that she has remorse and I love that Hope helped her hang her ornement when she was fidgeting. I hope that they get past everything that was bad between them and try to at least be civil.

I'm so glad the Clay scenes didn't take over the end of the show. I loved the montage at the end. It was just perfect.

Lumi and Max/Mimi were great today. I just love those two couples, even though I did feel bad for Abby after she opened the trap door for Max and Mimi and they hugged and started kissing, but Stephanie and Chelsea told her about Max.

I noticed that Shawn gave Max and Mimi a strange look at the Pub when Max pulled her to the side.

Today was the first sign of Maggie stepping into Alice's place. It's so sad to see Frances Reid getting weaker every year. :(

Doug and Julie's relationship is so sick! Julie is Hope's half-sister. Doug is Hope's father. For one point in time, Doug was Julie's stepfather. Now, they're married. What does Shawn call Julie? I've heard him refer to her as Aunt Julie before, but then I've also heard him calling her Grandma, which pisses me off. I understand that she's his step-grandmother, but she's his aunt by blood. I'm just nit-picking right now... Don't mind me.

Chelsea and Hope just broke my heart. I love them fighting, but it's nice to see some resolution finally.

Doug and Julie!!!!!! *sigh* I could watch the two of them talk to each other for a whole hour. God, I love those people!

Days Christmas show has been a nearly 40 year tradition with me and today's was especially poignant. I cried several times and remembering how they have all grown older and dearer and remembering my life changing through all those times, too.

My favorite parts have to be the real Bo and Hope reunited, Bo and Hope drawing Chelsea into the family unit, Sami, Lucas and Will being there this year, Doug and Julie again, Maggie's little speech (missed Mickey) and Alice at the end nearly did me in (as she usually does on Christmas).

It seems as though Max and Mimi may have fallen in love. Believe it or not, I felt a pain for Abby when she realized the truth. It was neat to see Shawn noticing them, too. I do think Belle sufficiently let the viewers see that she was missing Philip. I think Shawn will have to woe this girl to win her heart...romantically.

What delighted me were the sisterly scenes between Belle and Sami.

Love Clay with Steve and Kayla.

I think Hogan did an excellent first Christmas Day under his pen.

Great Christmas episode!

Days always has the best, and this year they didn't disappoint at all.

Is it just me, or did it seem like there was alot going on this year? Usually, everything just happens at the Horton house. But this year, we had Christmas celebrations going on there, at the hospital, at the Brady Pub... and even in the church basement! There was also a bit of side-story involving Abby rescuing Mimi and Max (resulting in the "Christmas miracle" of them walking into middle of the celebration at the Brady Pub) and the romantic Steve/Kayla scenes with Clay Aiken (who was SOOOO DIVA!). I also loved being treated to scenes with Doug, Julie and Maggie. Where the hell was Mickey, though?! Another thing to mention... wasn't this the first time Sami had ever been to the Horton house for the hanging of the Christmas ornaments, with Lucas? I think so.

It wasn't like most Days Christmas episodes. It was actually... better!

I loved today's episode. It was so great with the Brady's Hortons, the hospital, Bo playing Santa!

What really breaks my heart though is Frances Reid, I agree that she seems weaker and I worry on how longer she will be with us. :(

If only John Clarke would have been there it would have been perfect. DrewH - I'm trying to not like Max and Mimi because I want MABBY too, but it's getting harder as they are cute together. Oh darn.

Tell me about it! I'm fighting the temptation that is MAMI?:P

I'm with you MABBY lovers!!!!!!! I want MABBY but even though I hate Mimi and Fath I like Max and Mimi. :(

I think Maxi (?) is just a pit stop on the long and winding road to Mabby. There's no reason not to enjoy it while it lasts.

Wonderful and touching episode today. Bringing the families together.

Of course I loved the Horton Christmas tree, cried when Zach's ornament was hung, and how everyone took a moment to think of him. Then Shawn paused at Zachs ornament, Hope helping Chelsea...wonderful.

Loved the Christmas story and Santa at the hospital.

I'll have to watch it again.

That was a great episode--for everyone involved. It's nice to see characters happy before the inevitable you-know-what hits the fan.

I loved Steve's Christmas story--too funny.

I was sure that the Clay appearance would be overly cheesy, but it actually came off quite well and the montage at the end worked.

Let's hope the good writing continues.

I agree with everyone else. A great Christmas episode! I wish it could have been broadcast Friday or yesterday, but it gave me something to look forward to while I was out this morning doing returns.

I cried during the ornament hanging, as I do every year, and like someone else said, I think we clearly saw Maggie emerging as the new Horton matriarch. Alice looked lovely but noticeably fragile; I can't bear to think we may be without her one day soon. And where's Mickey? They have to deal with his absence; it was absurd that he wasn't present today.

Love Doug and Julie! I grew up watching their love story so they are always special to me. And I'm so happy that Bo and Hope are finally fixed. This has been such a painful year for them--and for me watching them! Sami and Belle--great sister moment between them. These little interactions like that are adding so much to the feel of the show, bringing it back to the DAYS I've always loved.

Overall, I just had a nice fuzzy feeling watching today's show.

Okay, I'm just watching my tape now and I must say, I am VERY disappointed in Steve. I wasn't a fan during their heyday and I'm afraid I jumped the gun on being a crazed Stayla fan. WHAT IN THE HECK is up with his anti-God, anti-religion, anti-Christian diatribe? Who is this pagan?! How on EARTH did he hook up with a woman from one of the most spiritual families in Salem? WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD (whom you probably don't believe in, thug Steve) is going on here?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
