Sure Tony finally got locked up but wasn't that more for just being crazy and Not killing anyone when he sent them to Meleswan. Nicole killed Colin, well so we thought. Cops couldn't prove it. Stefano and Victor put someone on ice every year or two and never felt the repercussions. Vivian buried people alive and she still ran around stealing eggs from Kate.

All EJ has to do with the Eve murder is turn the tails back on Patrick. After all Patrick planning on leaving the area for good with Hope. Just something a murderer would do, flee the scene.

What will be interesting is if we ever get a cohort that is EJs equal and we get to hear his reasons. Patrick isn't quite up to Nico's or Rolf's standards.

I think the show will keep him. I just don't think he'll be here, say, five years from now.

Honestly, how can you KILL someone, have the cops find out you did (they seem to be onto him right now) and be redeemed? EJ's probably the best character (imo) since Nicole came on board (and developed as a character), so it would be ridiculous not to make him a 'keeper.' Even if a former writer DID create him, this isn't the same thing as Dena Higley's "goop," this is another writer's element that you KEEP.

It's possible that it could have been a henchman, but I don't think it was Patrick since he acted so surprised at all of EJ's other dirty deeds. EVen if EJ didn't kill Eve himself, he was still pulling the strings.

Hi everyone I'm new to this message board . I have been watching for 20 something years now and I have to say that I think that the chemistry that EJ and Sami have together is great. James and Ali are amazing actor/actress I think it could be a great story they remind me of the young Patch and Kayla or the young Bo and Hope.

I;m thrilled that the Steve and Kayla s/l looks like it's starting to take off now. I think it will be so explosive once they reconnect.

I think the sweeps will be good I'm just not looking forward to a Lucas Sami reunion, he has treated her so bad to many times.

Sami kept Lucas' son from him, she dressed up as a man and put him in danger, she gave him false hope with Carrie...I am a Sami fan, but it's definatley wrong to play the blame game with Lumi. Neither of them are perfect which is why the are the perfect couple! (if that makes sense lol)

I never said that Sami was perfect and I am a HUGE Lucas fan I just don't like Sami and Lucas together, I think there is to much bad stuff that happened, It just seems to me that Lucas always turns his back on Sami when she needs him the most and it's just sad to me. I want Lucas to be happy with someone that Kate will have no reason to meddle with. I feel that LUcas and Sami deserve to have a Kate free life cuase if they are together then Kate will always ttry to break them up. I just think that it's refreshing seeing Sami and EJ together.

Yeah I think EJ will be with us for a few years. He will be able to keep out of jail and I can see him being a figure like Stefano and Tony were in the 80's. Like King said, five years down the road is a different story. I beleive he signed for 3 years but I maybe wrong. I think Days will keep him around for most of that but I can see him turning into a long term (as in more then 3-4 year) character.

However, if they redeem him at some point, then maybe he can become something more and stick around longer. I agree that this is the best development of a new character since Nicole. Beth and then Hogan did a good job adding some depth and layers to him.

I just see a lot of possibilities with a chracter like EJ, he could be a bad hardcore DImera, he could be a good Dimera actually working against his family, I persoanlly think that he is using Kate to bring her down. I think EJ could even be the key to John and Steve getting their memories back.It will be interesting.

I just think that it's refreshing seeing Sami and EJ together.

Same here, I don't hate Lucas I just really like EJ and Sami . I love your screen name by the way. I hope we get so much Patch and Kayla coming. Kayla is being written so weak right now and I hope it gets way better. The old Kayla would never have let Billie even think about getting near her man I miss that Kayla.

Lucas and Sami's problem is that Lucas is a wussy mama's boy and Sami is a shrew, immature schemer. I'm liking the idea of them growing up and taking responsibility, and seeing where things go from there.

They definatly have a lot of growing up to do, I still don't know if will be enough it 'll be fun to watch though

Sami needed to hear what her family said. I just don't see how anyone can overlook any of the stuff she's does and keep making excuses for her. Yeah she has issues, but who doesn't? That does not give her the reason she feels she needed for the stunts she's pulled. Even E.J. told her that given how she's treated her family and John, why did she expect to be invited to their weddings?

IA with ademption about Frankie and Max. Shawn and Caroline will start comparing them just like they compared Bo to Roman for all their childhood years. It's just history repeating itself.

E.J. reminds me of some other bad guys who have came to Salem. They had started out good people, but had an agenda BTS. He is no different.

Yet you have no problem with her hooking up with EJ? Let's recap...

1) Has blackmailed her and caused her emotional trauma for months

2) Has tried to sleep with her while she was both vulnerable and/or drunk

3) Has threatened to send her son to a juvenile detention centre

4) Has allowed her to think her son was kidnapped

5) Has actively plotted behind her back with her worst enemy

6) Calls her a "tramp" behind her back

7) Has been simultaneously trying to bed both her and aforementioned worst enemy

8) Has demanded that she choose between him and her son

9) Has encouraged her to cut all ties with her family

Sami and Lucas have both hurt one another terribly but their love is not remotely in doubt. Sami is nothing more than a pawn to EJ. As another poster on here said, it is like watching a cat torturing a mouse. There is nothing "romantic" or "hot" about that. When Sami finds out about one or more of the above crimes, EJ better watch out. He could well suffer the same fate as Alan Harris.
