Days: Christie Clark posted on her site

It's good that she knows not to burn bridges. There's nothing to say that she won't be back--look at Matt. I think it speaks well of her that she chose to post positively rather than negatively. She wanted to come back for a long time, so I'm sure it's a bitter pill to swallow.

I agree. Those two are class acts and they deserve success.

If I remember correctly, didn't Christie return with a short-term contract, anyways?

Well, I don't think so.

According to JASON's site, Christie Clark is contracted through November 2008. So, her contract was for 3 years.

But Austin did say in his blog that he thought it was going to be a short-term thing anyway.

And Phoenix, this is for you: :)

No, when she came back last year she posted that she signed for 3 years.

I truly wish the best for Chrisite. You can tell by just reading this she is upset, but is looking at the positive. I wish her the best of luck in the future.

Sucks. Sigh. I'll miss her.

Just figured I'd let u know that Christie posted on her site about her firing.

She is a class act and she's so hurt. I feel so bad for her.

I think this was posted somewhere already unless this is from a different site. I know someone posted a message from CC earlier this week.

I really don't find this a big deal that they let her go. They've both sucked since they came back, granted with Christie it is all on the writers and the awful storyline - but they still sucked.

I'm just shocked they got rid of two fan favorites, who they just recently brought back, just to ax them? Makes no sense.

Maybe it's not a big deal for you. But for Christie's fans it's horrible. She started on this show when she was a little girl, and just when the fans got her back... she gone again. I don't know who you like the most, but imagine the same thing happening to her/him.

Class all the way. I'll miss Carrie and Austin, they are the reason I tuned back into DAYS.
