"Hello everybody, what you are hearing is true. Austin and I have been let go from the show. I'm disappointed and slightly bruised...by this. But life goes on. I feel like we were just starting to get to do some great work. The scripts have been a heck of a lot better...which then makes the acting more fun to watch. And I was so looking forward to having a new passionate writer. If the writings good everything else hopefully comes naturally. I want nothing but the best for Days of our lives...and hope it becomes number 1. Thanks for your support!

love,

Christie"

Class act. I love when actors leave with class.

I'm still so pissed that she was let go when there are far more "actors" on Days worth firing.

Very classy and the fact that she still loves the show speaks volumes. She knows they were in a tough position. I am sure she will be back in the future. I just feel so bad because she was so excited but she is right life goes on.

I know it was by accident that you posted that three times, Rion, but it bears repeating.

Austin Peck also posted a blog today also..pretty much saying the same thing...Sad to see them go, but i'm excited that they are saying the scripts are getting better....

Oh Peck posted in his blog again?

Does anyone have a link? I would like to see what he said. :)

CC is really a class act and must really love DAYS to say all that in her blog. I know she wanted to come back so bad for years and it finally hapepened and now she is out the door again. I am more pissed over her being let go than Austin Peck, Matt Ashford, Melissa Reeves, and Billy Warlock combined.

I'm very disappointed. I'm a returning viewer to DOOL and really enjoy the characters. There are a lot of other actors I would rather see go.

If I remember correctly, didn't Christie return with a short-term contract, anyways?

It's good that she knows not to burn bridges. There's nothing to say that she won't be back--look at Matt. I think it speaks well of her that she chose to post positively rather than negatively. She wanted to come back for a long time, so I'm sure it's a bitter pill to swallow.
