Just wanted to come back and comment on the part of Jamie being gay. I love that, and it would be so good to see it come about with "my" reemergence of the Martins. I would have it come about as Jamie becomes attracted to a man at first (maybe one of his instructors) and the first encounter is maybe even almost forced - leaving Jamie even more confused. Then Jamie realizes he is gay, and tells the family. It would be a good story for Tad, Dixie and Brooke too. Esp. after Tad & Dixie finally get back together and then Tad spends all this time with Brooke.

Another story I think I would like to see is that after Erica and Jack finally come to terms with everything is for Tara to return to town. Jack and Tara could have an affair. It would be a wonderful revisit of history, and to see Erica fighting not to lose a man to her old rival Tara.

This is OT, but ah, every time I read the name "Tara," I think about the thousands of episodes of the show from the 70s that are lost forever. I would give a limb to be able to see all of that absolute goodness.

Where does one even begin?

Pretty much everything needs to be the exact opposite of what it is. The characters that are front and centre need to be backburnered (or fired), the characters that have been backburnered need to be put front and centre.

Sidenote: In SOD JHC says that Brooke is just a "supporting character". Not that she's just a supporting character at this point in time, but that she will always be (until December probably when she'll be an "exiting character" ) What a slap in the face to Julia Barr on her ANNIVERSARY year!

The types of stories (and I use the term loosely) that are being told are better left to Passions. They need to tell the exact opposite type of story. Oh I forgot...only GH can do social issues stories...or be of any quality whatsoever.

Anybody could replace McTavish. A five year old could do a better job...and I'm not even being sarcastic. None of the stories on AMC make any sense. Hey, just make the kid playing Emma the new headwriter. Then we'd probably see some cohesive, competent writing.

You ever see the episode of South Park with the whole thing against Family Guy and it's revealed the the writers of Family Guy are acutally trained seals in a tank that move balls with "plot points" on them to the other side of the tank and BAM! Instant storyline.

Wouldn't surprise me if this is how AMC is being written. Megan McTavish, lord of the seals.

It turns out Jonathan & Erin are brother and sister con artists from New York. When Jack overhears Ryan telling Erica about it, he has Jonathan brought up on murder charges for Edmund, etc. Jonathan is executed onscreen with Maria, Sam, Maddie, & Julia watching his demise. Lily apologizes to her father for trusting Jonathan over him and Erica apologizes to Jack, too, for ever doubting his attitude toward the younger "Laverys." Sam sticks around town and starts dating Lily, Jack is cautious but reluctantly lets Lily see him.

David dates both Di and Julia (initially to destroy her relationship with Jamie).

Erica and Jeff are disappointed when it turns out Josh is not their son.

Steve, if it were up to me, YOU WOULD HAVE THE JOB!!!! . If it can't be Steve than I'll take Lorriane Broderick.

Here are a few of my own suggestions.

STOP CHANGING CHARACTER PERSONALITIES TO REDEEM THE BAD GUYS!

Use the incredible talent you have in people like Julia Barr and stop bringing in newbies every month.

Give us old fashioned romance again. I miss love in the afternoon

Realize the over 40 characters are just as interesting to watch than the newbies especially in the romance and passion department.

Stop propping and showcasing the same 5 characters over and over and over.

Put Del and Simone to work for Brooke at Tempo. Del and Simone were both introduced as journalists/reporters, but have been reduced to air-headed supporting players. This would give all of them something to do...Brooke could mentor them, and Simone and Del could fall for each other...

I agree with Erin and Jon hitting the road. Ryan can stay...I guess...as long as they don't make him the savior of the whole show.

I would love to see Tara and Kelsey back. That would be a fun mother-daughter team to rival Erica and Kendall!

Romance! Remember that soap viewers like romance of ALL ages--the 50+ group of Erica, Jack, Brooke, Adam,Jeff and Tara could do some great stuff.

Bring back Sam pronto. Sam,Lily,Colby,Petey...good potential.

Jamie gay? Why not, I say!

Opal and Palmer remarried!!!

Fire McTavish and make sure she never ever works in soaps ever again to start off with

Backburner Babe, JR, Ryan, Jonathan, and backburner the Lavery's as a whole, they dont do anything for the show.

Less JR and Babe!!!! They get more airtime than any other couple or characters combined, and IMO it's hurting the show bigtime.

More character driven storylines instead of plot driven BS that doesn't leave us scratching our head saying "WTF?"

Get a writer who can write, and can write for characters, and not have to actually write them OOC to prop other characters, get a writer than can write for married couples, etc......
