  1. Even if PA is reversed [and I doubt it will be], Harris still lost. I'm not as numb as last night. But not sad, either. No, I just feel white-hot RAGE, including for family members on Facebook that supported Trump. Now? Now I will just sit back and wait for the fallout. Because it WILL come. And when it does and those same voters/personal family members howl and cry, I will just remind them that THIS is what YOU voted for!
  2. If I were to guess - and it's all I can do here - maybe Joe's internal polling was just as bad? And the thought that a younger candidate could turn things around prevailed. Obviously, it was wrong.
  3. Last I looked, Elissa Slotkin is losing to Mike Rogers.
  4. Well, as I said, I do not see any viable candidate being a woman. Not in this US as it stands. It's an automatic loss. Old white guys - even if they have zero character - are the go to.
  5. I remember Elissa Slotkin mentioned Harris being "underwater" in Michigan. But I - and many others - thought she was being hyperbolic. Sadly, she was just "Cassandra" - telling a truth none of us wanted to hear.
  6. Misogyny and racism run DEEP here. Sadly.
  7. Racism is alive and well. But I think the sexism is worse. Had Kamala been male, I think she may have had a shot. See Obama. But she's a lowly woman, so...
  8. Worse, it would appear those "Dem strongholds" VOTED FOR TRUMP. Those who opposed him won't deserve the suffering to come, but every last traitor that voted for him will. Not a tear to be shed by me for ANY of them.
  9. I give it a month (once Trump takes office) before we're in a depression. Hold on, folks. Here we go again. Because we're ignorant, stupid, and never learn.
  10. And, to add, it appears she is also losing AZ and NV. So... I recall how stunned and sickened I felt in 2016. But I don't feel...anything...now. Like @DRW50, I'm just...numb. Maybe that's a coping mechanism. I hope that sustains itself until 2028 - assuming we even have an election. It's official: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-wins-presidency-for-second-time-completing-improbable-comeback/ar-AA1tACW8?ocid=winp2fptaskbarhover&cvid=020371eefa64450a8a076349d98be513&ei=8
  11. It's true. Trump won PA. Harris HAD TO WIN that and MI and WI to have a shot. She has lost PA and is losing WI and MI. It's over.
  12. At this point, as I said, let the GOP "govern". Let them rip everything apart. Yes, we will also suffer, and that's sad and scary. But what's done is done. So let the MAGA cult reap the "benefits" when the Trump sinkhole makes them suffer right along with the rest of us. Because that WILL happen. And when it does, and they start crying, I don't want to hear One. Fúcking. Word. out of any of 'em.
  13. Well, I hope the Hispanic vote consoles them when the very POS they voted for gets ready to deport them. Because they are not lily-white, so Donnie has no use for them. I would not have voted for his ass, since he is a bonafide fúcking lunatic, but I wonder - had Worm Brain been the Dem nominee - if he would have actually won with this idiot electorate?
  14. All the work Joe Biden put into repairing our reputation with the world...and now, the world will again know we cannot be counted on. Because the "Ugly American" really does exist.
  15. For what it's worth, I just checked, and the AP still has not called the race. But it's only a matter of time. All outstanding states being waited upon are shaded light red. So... I'm in your shoes, too. It's scary.
  16. I remember when my Dad told me that Joe Biden dropped out. My first words were, "The Democrats just made a huge mistake!" But my Dad was hopeful since donations were huge. But my gut knew from that moment we were doomed, even as I prayed I was wrong.
  17. I wonder who will play at the Inauguration from Hell: Kid Rock? No one with any real sense of patriotism will go near this, just like the first time. God help us if another pandemic hits. Freezer trucks for all!
  18. By the way, if somehow we survive this and ever have an election again - and I say this as a WOMAN myself - I don't ever see a woman candidate again in my lifetime. Two big losses. America is just sexist. The sick, sad truth.
  19. Well, if people think grocery prices are bad now, just wait. As the old jingle for Toyota went, "You asked for it, you got it, Toyota." Made even better if/when Medicare/Medicaid are gutted. Have fun.
  20. And Putin will take Ukraine.
  21. And even if Donald croaks in office, Vance as his replacement is just as terrifying.
  22. If we weren't all going to suffer along with them, I'd say let these Trump voters get the full effect. Round up all those Hispanic voters that backed him. They will be the first to scream when they are thrown out of the country. For the women backing him, I hope they like national forced births. Give these voters what they voted for.
  23. And AZ is obviously going red since the GOP registrations outpaced Dems. Although I know the deadline to vote has been extended. So Lord knows when we get those results.
  24. Which will mean squat when the GOP passes a national abortion ban. Just the truth.
  25. I just have a bad feeling. It's...just too bad the electorate has short memories and prejudices.
