Not sure I buy that, since the RFK, Jr./Trump voting blocs seem to overlap. If anything, if RFK, Jr. stays on some ballots, I think he'd hurt Trump more than he ever would Harris.

So, as we are well aware, Worm Jr. dropped out of the race for POTUS to align with fellow loon, DonOLD Dump, and he has been trying - and basically failing - to get his name removed from ballots. Yet...my newspaper has a front-page story where Worm Boy is trying to get back ON the NY ballot. The article even wonders why, since he has dropped out! Another grift? Insanity? Hmm. https://www.timesunion.com/capitol/article/robert-f-kennedy-jr-fights-stay-new-york-ballot-19727663.php

Looking back...Primetime Ratings from the 80's
All I remember about that show was Lynn Redgrave was also in it. And Kathryn Erbe, who would much later go on to the Law & Order franchise in Criminal Intent as Alex Eames. She and Redgrave actually had sort of a reunion in a Season 8 episode of CI, "Folie A Deux". Funny how, even though he was the lead, I totally forgot Jackie Mason was involved.

ARTICLE: BREAKING NEWS: Kelly Monaco OUT at ‘General Hospital’ — EXCLUSIVE
Never liked Sam much, but this is still shocking, considering how long Kelly Monaco has played her! I guess in today's soap climate, anyone is expendable.

TwitX is having a field day, because all DonOLD did, during Harris' speech, was complain that Coach Walz was not a coach but an assistant coach... ...and then asked, "Where's Hunter?" DonOLD SO wishes Joe was still his opponent. So, of course, TwitX has said Hunter is with Melania, among other epic responses. LOL! He is SO melting down, so those calls are the cherry on top.

More expert trolling by Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. While the Democratic National Convention continues in Chicago, she and Tim Walz flew to Milwaukee [location of the Republican Convention] and are holding a rally at the same venue the RNC was held at. And, like Chicago, the place is jam packed! This is great, West Virginia's oldest and youngest delegates, 83 and 18, casting their votes together for Kamala Harris: https://x.com/IntoTheShado/status/1826065760051147048/history

Oh, wow. Finding more roll call videos. And for Texas, Eva Longoria introduced the daughter of the late Gov. Ann Richards, Cecile Richards, said daughter being the former head of Planned Parenthood. Which led to another introduction: Kate Cox, the woman that had to flee Texas for an abortion. And, more awesomeness, per the video, thanks to getting that care, she announced her pregnancy and is due in January!

Just read that, even though "Kiss" [by Prince, naturally!] was played for Minnesota, they passed on the roll call, as did California. Not a surprise as they probably want to be last to push Harris/Walz over the top.

Edit: California Apparently, per TwitX, the state roll call is happening now at the DNC. And each state is using a song tied to each state. Don't know all, but from what I have seen in clips/read: "Lose Yourself" for Michigan. "Kiss" for Minnesota. "Shipping Up To Boston" for Massachusetts "Empire State of Mind" for New York "Born In The USA" for New Jersey "Firework" for Nebraska "Don't Stop Believin'" for New Hampshire "Mr. Brightside" for Nevada "Twistin' The Night Away" for Mississippi "Texas Hold 'Em" Instrumental for Texas (Duh!) "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" for Indiana "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" for Northern Mariana Islands Territory "Take Me Home Country Roads" for West Virginia "California Love" for California (again, duh!) That was all per a list I read and by clips watched. Some reasons are obvious. Others, apparently...The Killers [Mr. Brightside], as an example, come from Nevada, etc. As for the other states...I'm sure the songs can be tracked down eventually.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
I'm pretty sure she was on for more than 5 episodes. (Anyone can edit IMDB. I have. LOL!) And I wasn't saying she was famous or anything, just that I recognized her from that other role. I do remember she just seemed to hit the ground running with Justin/Adrienne, and it went from there. But her screen time seemed substantial for such a newbie. I always felt for Susan Diol. If I recall, Bo was involved with her character, Emmy. No great love since Bo just lost Hope, but I got the sense it was sort of being bandied about. But then Carly came on the scene, Emmy became nuts and was killed off, and that was that.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
With the disclaimer that, at the time, I loved Bo/Carly 1.0 [and me, a big Bo/Hope fan!]...well, after the whole utter mess with Nelson Branco, Crystal Chappell, and Kristian Alfonso on Twitter during Carly 2.0, I'm inclined to agree. I wasn't sorry to see Chappell go after Round 2. That's odd. Can't recall the magazine or interview, but in one such article, CC seemed to really like Peter Reckell. (This is during her first stint. I remember that much.) I do know she HATED RKK, but it seems all the actresses did. I do remember she seemed peeved that Reckell wasn't all that eager to jump into the fray during her second go-round, especially since - if I recall - Reckell wasn't exactly thrilled with how Bo was being written during that time. Well, not if one was a Santa Barbara viewer (but it was a short-term role). She played Jane (I think it was her name!) just before Days, around '89/early '90, a fellow reporter friend of Eden Capwell. If I recall, Jane was a drug addict or something. Forgot the whole plot, but I think she ended up being killed off. Months later, she popped up as Carly on Days.

I was just coming to post that Knots Landing is trending on TwitX! Seems people are thrilled to finally have it stream and are watching/commenting as they do! I wish my mom was still here to watch it again. She was a faithful viewer every Thursday night.

RIP: In Memoriam Thread
Not a good day for musicians. Jack Russell, lead singer of the '80s rock band, Great White, has died at 63. I know he is VERY polarizing, considering his association with the horrible fire at The Station back in 2003 [and I cannot believe it's been so long now!], but I figured I'd post, anyway.

Awww. Of all the things she did, my only true exposure to Mitzi McCall was, of all things, Silk Stalkings, where she played Fran Lipschitz, wife of police captain, Harry Lipschitz, played by her real-life husband, Charlie Brill. She had personality! May she rest in peace.

I streamed that Arizona rally. Wow, 20,000 happy people! And they arrived 4 HOURS before the event. Seems we Americans like feeling hopeful and happy. Who knew?! (But I still HATE the way Joe was shoved aside to make it happen.)
