  1. Hi, @slick jones! The work you put into this is INSANE, so I feel bad about pointing out a typo, but I also thought you'd want to know, for David McLean, under this marriage I quoted, the bold should read 1995. Thanks so much for all of this!
  2. I know all about Nate Silver being owned by Peter Thiel. He was also pushed out of 538 AND fired by ABC News. That all said, I just pray to God, even as biased as he is and as trashy as he is, that Silver is not a canary in a coalmine. I hope Simon Rosenberg, Tom Bonier, and Christopher Bouzy's confidence is on target. I WANT all of these polls to be correct! But then I think of 2016 and Hillary and all the polls crowing about a big win, and my stomach will remain in a knot until Kamala Harris is OFFICIALLY announced as President-Elect of the US. Call it PTSD. But the press is sanewashing Dump and is in the tank for him, and the right doesn't seem to care that he's losing his marbles. So, long story short, this is all nice, but I won't trust it until it bears fruit come election night.
  3. Here's another article: The GOP thinks living like the OK Corral is just fine. Vote these bastards OUT.
  4. WaPo is circling the drain, too. Its editorial board had an Op-Ed yesterday ostensibly comparing the candidates - but mainly picking apart Kamala Harris for being vague with not ONE mention of TRUMP's lack of policies. It got over 10K responses and caused many within to actually cancel their subscriptions. Myself included. Yet the media wonders why Dems are turning to alternative methods to get their message out.
  5. Going to hell, but I had a much-needed laugh. Apparently, Lara Trump released a new single...and someone was nice enough to make some improvements.
  6. Glenn Youngkin, stumping for Dump, gets booed as the audience chants, "We're not going back."
  7. The thing is, I'm not sure that's in the offing. (I know this post is also likely just speculating, to be clear!) Jonathan Jackson left last time because the promised reunion between Lucky/Liz never materialized. I'm assuming (so, yeah, could be wrong!) this was something that was promised - or at least a promise to explore - if he came back again. So, if there is a triangle? Seems - if that theory holds any water - the winner is already known. Which begs the question of what the plans ARE for Ric. (Or, yes, Lucky, assuming the above theory no longer holds.)
  8. So, Megyn Kelly, irrelevant harridan desperate for the limelight, has apparently been interviewing men that claimed to have "served with" Tim Walz, calling him a "military impersonator", whatever that is. Of course, the right is eating it up. But this crap has been debunked again and again. Makes me wonder if these guys were promised something or whatever.
  9. The right's latest effort to smear Harris/Walz? Jeff Walz, Tim Walz's brother, who allegedly supports Trump. Because no other family has one of those. (Hi, RFK, Jr.!) /s
  10. So, JD Vance shows again how much he despises women. He and Trump are well matched in that both are lower than garbage:
  11. Not sure I buy that, since the RFK, Jr./Trump voting blocs seem to overlap. If anything, if RFK, Jr. stays on some ballots, I think he'd hurt Trump more than he ever would Harris.
  12. So, as we are well aware, Worm Jr. dropped out of the race for POTUS to align with fellow loon, DonOLD Dump, and he has been trying - and basically failing - to get his name removed from ballots. Yet...my newspaper has a front-page story where Worm Boy is trying to get back ON the NY ballot. The article even wonders why, since he has dropped out! Another grift? Insanity? Hmm. https://www.timesunion.com/capitol/article/robert-f-kennedy-jr-fights-stay-new-york-ballot-19727663.php
  13. I love musician Jack White:
  14. All I remember about that show was Lynn Redgrave was also in it. And Kathryn Erbe, who would much later go on to the Law & Order franchise in Criminal Intent as Alex Eames. She and Redgrave actually had sort of a reunion in a Season 8 episode of CI, "Folie A Deux". Funny how, even though he was the lead, I totally forgot Jackie Mason was involved.
  15. I always feel seen. LOL! But yeah, great episode.
  16. This is inspired [bottom picture]: Also available as a shirt: https://teeworksusa.com/product/kamala-harris-and-donald-trump-x-peanuts-lucy-and-charlie-brown-football-the-new-yorker-shirt/
  17. Never liked Sam much, but this is still shocking, considering how long Kelly Monaco has played her! I guess in today's soap climate, anyone is expendable.
  18. Cluck, cluck! Look who's trying to back out of the September 10th debate on ABC...AGAIN!
  19. Just another lunatic seeking attention. Pay him no mind. Just like Worm Brain Bear Killer.
  20. Seems Kate Mulgrew loved having Capt. Janeway referenced by AOC on Colbert last night!
  21. TwitX is having a field day, because all DonOLD did, during Harris' speech, was complain that Coach Walz was not a coach but an assistant coach... ...and then asked, "Where's Hunter?" DonOLD SO wishes Joe was still his opponent. So, of course, TwitX has said Hunter is with Melania, among other epic responses. LOL! He is SO melting down, so those calls are the cherry on top.
  22. Not gonna lie. A LOT of lovely F bombs here, but ALL deserved:
  23. Jack Schlossberg, son of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, was a speaker at the DNC, much like his Uncle John back in 1988:
  24. More expert trolling by Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. While the Democratic National Convention continues in Chicago, she and Tim Walz flew to Milwaukee [location of the Republican Convention] and are holding a rally at the same venue the RNC was held at. And, like Chicago, the place is jam packed! This is great, West Virginia's oldest and youngest delegates, 83 and 18, casting their votes together for Kamala Harris: https://x.com/IntoTheShado/status/1826065760051147048/history
  25. Oh, wow. Finding more roll call videos. And for Texas, Eva Longoria introduced the daughter of the late Gov. Ann Richards, Cecile Richards, said daughter being the former head of Planned Parenthood. Which led to another introduction: Kate Cox, the woman that had to flee Texas for an abortion. And, more awesomeness, per the video, thanks to getting that care, she announced her pregnancy and is due in January!
