While I comfort myself with the fact that polls have crapped the bed the last few cycles, the fact is, right now, they suck for Joe Biden. So I REALLY HOPE these polls are, again, GOP polls flooding the zone. Because Dump and Project 2025 are terrifying and unthinkable. ESPECIALLY now that the bastard has immunity thanks to his MAGA Court.

Got wavering family or friends? Be sure to show them what the GQP has planned with Project 2025! Criminalizing porn (hey, not my speed, but some are into it!). No birth control. A blueprint in having the little woman stay at home while the big, strong man works! And that is just the start of the horror story in waiting!

So, it's safe to say that RFK, Jr. is just Trump, but now with brain worms! Yuck. But good for Joe for agreeing to do a sit-down interview with George Stephanopoulos. It's what I like about Joe. He keeps fighting.

Here's an angle barely anyone acknowledges. Biden's CABINET. A POTUS is only as strong as the people around him [right now, it is just "him"]. Highlight that. Get Harris active in things. Remind people that if, God forbid, Biden falls ill and/or dies, the nation will still be in CAPABLE democracy-loving hands. The alternative is immigrant child kidnapper Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, and other Nazis. And voters sadly need reminding despite Trump's ceaseless chaos.

For all the bluster, it appears that the debate issues have barely moved the needle as far as polling goes. The reality is, Joe will be the Dem candidate, and Trump will be the GOP pick. So? Pick the old man that has slowed but cares about democracy - or the old man felon. Because that is the binary choice, like it or not. On another topic, at least SCOTUS did one thing correctly and declined to save the Great Unwashed Steve Bannon from a 4-month prison stint [and NOT in a Club Fed since he has other criminal issues in play!]. He must report by July 1st. Have fun with your new roomies, Stevie!

I wrote this elsewhere, and it is not really directed towards anyone here. But the overall sentiment stands: ______ Trump killed MILLIONS via his neglect during COVID. The withdrawal from Afghanistan was ARRANGED BY HIS ADMINISTRATION, including setting the Taliban free. He emboldened Nazis and White Supremacists. Look, Biden may not be the candidate many want, but if voters can vote for the creature that did the above AND is now a convicted felon? We DESERVE to suffer and lose democracy. Sometimes, choices SUCK. But if ANYONE thinks getting Trump back will fix anything and NOT ruin the nation [and end Medicare and all women's rights, etc.], I got a lovely Brooklyn Bridge to sell, cheap. At least if Biden does die, God forbid, I would still feel safe with the cabinet he chose. Can you say the same of Trump?! Wake the hell up. Start thinking of YOUR interests and not rely on soundbites and image. Too much is at stake.

Maybe you're thinking of Keith Flint, lead singer of Prodigy, another '90s group that had a hit or two? He died in 2019.

Indeed. But some good news. So thanks! I can only hope and pray that sanity prevails in November, too.

Looks like Looney Lauren Boebert's antics don't faze her new district. She won the primary for CO-4. Of course, there were 5 other candidates, so vote splitting is probably a factor. Be that as it may, unless Trisha Calvarese, the likely Democratic opponent (so far, she is beating Ike McCorkle), wins this red district come November, we are stuck with this loser in Congress.

I personally didn't see the scene, but I read that is also sort of how Lucy Coe was introduced on GH, after first being shown as a mousy sort before the big reveal scene...

ALL: Daytime's Best Dads?
I was just about to say John [and John in his Roman days, no pun intended!]. Yes, John has his quirks and such, but he had a warmth with his kids [and Roman's kids he thought were his!] and always had their welfare in mind. And loved them unconditionally. Hell, even after he discovered he wasn't Roman, he saved Brat!Carrie [as I thought of Tracy Middendorf's Carrie] from getting it on with Lawrence. And I also agree with Bo Brady, John's sort-of brother, on the list, too.

DAYS: June 2024 Spoilers
Gwen is as unnecessary as they come. But with this shitshow, I have no doubt that, besides Leo, she will somehow worm her way into the story line with Mystery Woman. Even as a good portion of the audience never really accepted Gwen as a Deveraux. But with Ron at the helm, it's about what he likes, not the audience.

This, I sort of doubt. Most of Beck's story involved his crumbling marriage to Angela [as the show tried to hype up some mystery in how Angela's sister Marilyn - who the viewer never even met! - died, and David's involvement]. That, and his obvious mooning over Julia, who still was in love with Mason. I don't recall anything about David being mixed up with Warren as a possible father. Although Angela was the connection between the two men and their stories. I always thought Warren/Angela did have chemistry. A shame the show sacrificed that for drippy BJ. I know Cassie also loved Warren, but because of the family connection [or what was thought to be!], it was forbidden and eventually drove Cassie insane. But if not Angela? The revelation - even if I hated it - could have let them reunite. They did seem to spark, too. (And I say this as one that resented that Cassandra never really paid for manipulating Mason and Julia when she first started. That was never brought up!) For whatever reason, the show put JW/Warren with the woman he least connected with. (No slight to Sydney Penny, who was awesome even as a little girl as Young Meggie in The Thorn Birds and as Julia Santos on All My Children. The role of BJ Walker was just a drain.)

Funny you write/say that, considering the angle the show was hinting at before it got the axe. (Inferring that when Sophia/Lionel were getting it on, so had Augusta/CC. I think you can guess where this was heading, especially considering Mason and Warren's disdain for each other.) Although Warren did discover Lionel was NOT his birth father before the show ended - and proceeded to treat Lionel like crap. Which was a crime. Not to mention John Allen Nelson's Warren looked AND SOUNDED like Nicolas Coster, so the rewrite REALLY sucked!

I think the intense over reliance on Cruz and Eden hurt this show in the long run. Before the C/E fans come after me with pitchforks, I'm not saying I hate them or they should not have gotten focus. But they became the one pairing that everyone and everything sort of rotated around. And when Marcy Walker left, there was nothing left to cushion that blow and fill that huge hole. (Mason and Julia did help. Even Michael Logan did acknowledge that pairing did provide some salve, but even they weren't enough in the end. (Says I, a big M/J fan!)) Another misstep was jettisoning Carrington Garland - who had chemistry with everybody as Kelly - for a name in Eileen Davidson. I don't hate Davidson, but she was miscast in that role. I think, had the Dobsons not been so knee jerk in wanting to put their stamp on everything post return and kept Garland, that she and Roscoe Born could have helped to better cushion the show post C/E. Preferably as Robert and not Quinn, but it's clear that pairing did seem to interest the audience. But even if Born still exited the show, as I said, Garland could generate chemistry with anyone. Actually, I would have been interested two see the two CGs together: Carrington Garland and Charles Grant's Connor. He still could have come on to investigate BJ's molester's murder somehow - minus the Cruz/Kelly aborted ickfest [as in, it never happened!] and go from there. But by the time TPTB realized they had to plan beyond C/E, it was clear they were already too late and never knew how. There should have always been a plan B in case either or both [which ended up occurring!] A Martinez and Marcy Walker would leave. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. (Okay, commence the throwing of tomatoes!)

The Originals and the Imitators
The version above I talked about happened around 2009-ish, so three! It had Jaime Ray Newman, Rebecca Romijn, and Lindsay Price. (With, again, Paul Gross as the male lead.) So some soap cred with the cast. (The write up also mentions Sara Rue, but she wasn't one of the three main women. Dailymotion has some episodes up, so maybe I'll check them out again and refresh my memory.)

Not only is the issue of saving women's lives with abortion still hanging, so is whether a POTUS is a king, since this crew is pondering presidential immunity. Today's ruling regardless, this so-called SCOTUS is a s-h-i-t-show of the highest order.- GH: June 2024 Spoilers
