  1. Did Alan even work on AW? I know he worked on the CBS P&G soaps starting in 1997, but did that extend to AW too? If I did, It wasn’t for very long given the time he started.
  2. The whole thing seemed lazy to me. The City should have been a brand new show without any ties to Loving. Bless Debi and Darnell, but that last scene of Loving is a hell of a lot more crass and disrespectful to fans of the show than Paul Rauch stomping out his cigar as the last shot of Santa Barbara’s finale. It was basically, “f.uck this loser show, but come watch us on The City next week y’all!”
  3. Simms and Beverlee McKinsey were fire together as adversaries. To this day, the story with Roger and Alex remains Mindy’s signature story, IMO. Simms brought a sex appeal to the role that Tesreau would never have. But she was also very vulnerable and had chemistry with all the principal actors they wrote her with.
  4. Women like Maeve and Maureen Garett are what first attracted me to GL. So very glad they’re participating in things like this. Simms is the ONLY Mindy as far as I’m concerned.
  5. Reminds me that Cady really did the best work of her career during her first stint on ATWT. Probably the only ABC transplant that worked, and I never knew she had it in her after the last few years of her second stint as Dixie on AMC (you could tell she hated playing the character at that point).
  6. Grant and Beth both still look so good.
  7. Though, in a way, I'm glad he didn't come back as I'm sure he would have been wrecked by poor writing, but Peter was probably the most connected character on the show - connected to all the main families somehow (Reardons, Thorpes, Bauers, Lewis/Shaynes). Roger's grandson, Blake's nephew, Reva and Billy's step-grandson, Vanessa's semi-adopted child, Ed's niece's son (whatever that is), etc.
  8. Vanessa would have also been in that mix!
  9. I guess it goes back to what Michael Park said in the first reunion chat - it costs nothing to be nice/polite. If you aren’t, people will remember and that reputation will follow you around (especially in the entertainment business and especially if you’re a woman).
  10. I think Calhoun largely grounded Long in reality and emphasized a more ensemble approach. That, or Long just got better with managing and balancing the stories and characters in her second stint. Promoting Nancy Curlee to her Co-HW probably helped too.
  11. Very few people got along with Colleen, lol. It's a wonder she lasted so long on the show and was able to get away with it (though I love her).
  12. Part if the reason why I'd love to see Larry Bryggman, Liz Hubbard, and Eileen Fulton again is that I know those folks give little f.ucks and will be honest as hell on how they feel. And you know what, they've all earned that right in one way or another. It's sad that none of them will likely participate in something like this.
  13. Looks like this one was largely missable then...
  14. I know some liked it, but I will never support the ending Barbara got with Henry.
  15. He’s automatically the best pick for today’s lineup. Love SB.
  16. I know he didn't arrive until a bit later, but I always assumed they fired Courtney in preparation of bringing on Paul Rauch to produce the show. Someone mentioned there was a hilarious hospital brawl between Dorian (Strasser) and Karen (Light). I've always wanted to see that.
  17. I love how Maureen and Kim couldn't help but laugh at how stupid the Nursery Rhyme Stalker storyline was. Maureen's always had a great sense of humour about it. LOL!
  18. Larry Bryggman, Liz Hubbard, Eileen Fulton, and Kathryn Hays are the ones I'd most love to see.
  19. I believe Betty Rea was casting both shows at that time.
  20. LOL, even Kim said Marj was playing a different character from Beverlee.
  21. Maureen Garrett still looks great.
  22. Looks like Jerry verDorm is also taking part in this.
