Any real depth to these relationships is no longer displayed anymore on the show. Just like how they have Carly being friends with Liz/Olivia. It's either black or white. No areas of grey.

True. Next to GH, I'd say AW was also good at this as well, especially during the Swajeski era. Felicia/Cass, Rachel/Felicia. Ryan/Frankie.

I love how DAYS rolls out the morgue set to try and convince us a character is dead DEAD. 😂😂 Yeah sure DAYS, sure. We'll see that morgue set again in a few months or years when they want us to take another beloved character's death seriously.

I don't think Chris and Dan have a vision whatsoever when it comes to the canvas. They're just throwing anyone and anybody to see if they catch on with the audience. Just another useless male character

The show loves sending characters off in a body bag, instead of pleasantly leaving the square. Sucks that they plan on killing Lola.

Would've made sense to have Esme drug Nikolas and sleep with him; if they had to make him stupid.

GH is really tone deaf when it comes to directing/playing things out on screen. The way they played those scenes between Esme and Nik was either like the audience had been waiting/rooting for this, or it was just "sexy summer hijinks" (complete with some odd background music) when in reality it should be much more serious than that.

Wow, this has been a tough time for GL fans. I didn't know she was on Love of Life, and seemed to be somewhat of a prominent character.

GL: I'm just thinking aloud here, but I would take a guess that it really became a hit when Meta Bauer was put on trial for killing Ted White. Ryan's Hope: I want to say around the time Delia's schemes were revealed about what she did to hold on to Pat. Jill and the beach house explosion. Mary and Jack's romance. So maybe 3-4 years after they premiered.
