  1. Julie being confused about her feelings for Sharon/towards women, while feeling like she's betraying Doug, would've been so angsty; I love it.
  2. Ron's stories always include someone obviously acting out of character, a character then stumbling across the truth, followed by a very thin plot point of someone being kidnapped, held hostage, or blackmailed; which delays the truth from being revealed. It gets dragged out (scenes start becoming repetitive), and whoever is responsible for keeping said bombshell suffers little or no consequences. Rinse, wash, and repeat, and there are no long term or lasting effects.
  3. This would be more true to character than anything, but leave it to Ron to make a mockery of coming out late in life.
  4. It's interesting how we watch episodes/stories like that now and it's riveting, but at the time I remember the whole the Franco saga getting flack for being heavily drawn out. However looking at back at that time period (I've watched a few episodes myself too recently) I can agree that it's good stuff at least compared to today's show.
  5. Ron Carlivati must be stopped.
  6. Todd's former assistant Miss Bigelow/Mona Bigelow on One Life to Live.
  7. ^I thought I was the only who noticed how odd that scene was.
  8. The Chase and Brooklyn scenes today are so cute 🥰
  9. I remember that, it was brilliant to witness in real time. I don't know who at GL told him it was great or even rivaled the HOTL theme (I'm thinking Conboy).
  10. I missed it, but I heard it was DRY 😂🤣
  11. Somebody compared Portia and Curtis to Millow, and I can't help to agree. Honestly they got boring once they removed any and all obstacles for this pairing(Jordan, Taggart, Stella, heck even Trina).
  12. I think Frank panicked with all the press the show got from Ingo and Steve’s firing, and he figured this should be a quick way to take some of the heat off the show.
  13. This is the same bs they used for keeping Valentin in the dark and having Chase claim to be the father. Poor decision making and it’s making the characters look even more dumb than they were before. Meanwhile poor Wendy is falling for the “media hype” 🙄
  14. The writers keep recycling that tired old plot of faked deaths. I wished the writers could move beyond it.
  15. Iain Macleod interview as to what to expect for 2022. Not looking forward to this Abi/Imran/Toyah nonsense. If they wanted "intimate" drama, they should have just focused on the Sarah/Adam/Gary/Maria crew (which seems to be taking a sensationalistic route this year). Glad that Jacob Hay is staying around, I follow his portrayer Jack James Ryan on Instagram, and I've become quite a fanboy for him. Looking forward to more of Yasmeen's road to recovery emotionally, and curious about the Sally/Tim storyline. This Emma/Faye story seems like a paint by the numbers kind of tale, and seems to have come out of nowhere. In spite of all of this; out of the three showrunners of major three (excluding HO) I somehow feel as if Macleod is somewhat more competent than his peers. https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/coronation-street/a38610977/coronation-street-spoilers-iain-macleod-2022-storylines/
  16. Tori was such a odd character, just looking at her on paper. And I've only delved in and out of SB, and read synopsis/character summaries.
  17. As random as bringing up Jeff Webber for a few episodes with Elizabeth, and going nowhere with it
  18. This batch of writers are so random.
  19. Only on DAYS would a exorcism be used as a "heartwarming" moment to bring a family together.
  20. Don't believe RC will let it go that far, and as it has been mentioned, Eric was never seduced by Kristen, he was raped. Just another excuse for RC to trot out ED as Kristen.
  21. Ava would be better off going back to her mob roots after this, embracing her inner villain, and being paired up with Jake (who also has mob roots).
