  1. It's never made sense to me that they haven't given Nicole/Dani a point of view about Vanessa's constant cheating. After what both women have been through, it makes their friendship with her feel false. Why don't they hold any grievances whatsoever with her about her infidelity?
  2. They acknowledged and explained Belle's sudden asthma attack as being brought on by a mix of EJ's cologne, her stress, and being trapped in close quarters with him. Obviously, her having it is new, but I bought that explanation just fine. It's really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things for me. Watch them ever mention it again though. They have done more than enough to explain Theo's opposition to JJ for me as well. It makes total sense that once JJ became a cop again, Theo's dormant issues with him rose up again. Plus, we get to see two legacy characters, two who are played by good actors, have this natural conflict with each other. How wonderful that this was Cwikly/Ford's first major decision. Anyway, I definitely don't think the Xander and Sarah drama is done. Them properly becoming closer should have been the prompt for Xander to admit the truth about beating up Philip . Sarah would have still have been pissed, but I think with the blackout they would have been forced to hash it out. As it stands, Xander has made Sarah look like a fool, and when the truth finally does come out, she's bound to blow up all over again ... and into the arms of Brady? We shall see. One thing I found interesting, albeit unfortunate, about the Chad/Cat scenes, even the Sarah/Xander ones, is the fact that it seems proper love scenes are a thing of the past. Those kinds of scenes made a couple getting together feel so special and add to the emotional stakes of their bond, now it just seems like two people boned and that's that. Do other shows still do them? I know Beyond the Gates has dabbled. Also, whatever the hell is wrong with Marlena is going in circles. The blackout should have been used to finally reveal it to us once and for all. And to make it worse, Susan still exists. True pain and torture. Sue me, but I actually didn't mind Gwen beginning to thaw to Leo. But if he betrays her again regarding her involvement with EJ, I will accept nothing less than her shooting him dead. Q: Did she not debut on this show in a mental institution with Claire? Could we infer that could have added to her being so freaked out when she was trapped? Still, I wonder if she does thaw to Leo enough, if she'll use her money to help him and Javi adopt Tesoro.
  3. Not officially, but pretty sure it's Michael Roark, who had a stint on Y&R.
  4. Personally, my research has led me to the Google Pixel 9A, more than any other. Still, it's so hard to know what right choice is.
  5. I'm looking into getting a new phone for the first time in ages. Currently I have the iPhone 6s+ (like I said, ages) so I'm wondering what ya'll are using or would recommend. The biggest question I have is, beyond a specific phone, do you go with a carrier or unlocked?
  6. I read of recap of Friday's episode, so can someone tell me why Martin hates Tracy?
  7. I feel the same way. I still enjoyed the last episode for what it was, but I want D-R-A-M-A!!!
  8. He looks like he could be a thot like his mama.
  9. One positive of Rachel Boyd being hilariously horrendous is that it shows how truly talented her colleagues are. DAYS out here playing chess! Chad and Cat stuck together for the third time? Spare me! I don't mind them as a couple, but this repetition is tired. I'm here for the rest though and hopefully tomorrow will give us some other blackout scenarios.
  10. Thank you for posting that. Everyone looked wonderful. Any Dawson's Creek fan that was in the audience got a memory of a lifetime to treasure. Katie Holmes being the only one to step forward for her bow . By all accounts, James van der Beek seems like a mensch, so all the best to him. Was that his family that came out at the end? I also thought it was a smart move to have Renee Elise Goldsberry host the event, because it instantly helped Lin Manuel Miranda in not feeling like a fish out of water.
  11. He still looked great and expressed interest on returning when DAYS had the big 50th anniversary party. He's definitely on my list. Crazy that was a decade ago.
  12. No. What are you talking about?
  13. I was indifferent to this recast, but seeing how annoying Robert Adamson has been on Insta since Charlie Kirk's shooting, I'm at least happy he wasn't brought back.
  14. I will say, when it comes to bad actors on DAYS, we at least always get ones that can still entertain. They're rarely beyond boring like a Ryan Paevey. From Charity Rahmer to Rachel Boyd, we just get the best of the worst in Salem!
  15. So happy that we finally got confirmation that Jeremy Horton is coming back to Salem! Julie was vague about what job he obtained, so it should be interesting to see where they're going to put him. I've only ever read the name Selejko, so when Abe pronounced it as Seleco I had no idea the potential reference he could be intimating. That certainly makes things more exciting if they're harking back to them, but wonderfully random all the same. I could see TPTB getting Liam with Holly now that her and Tate are at odds again. Most importantly, the most significant character connected to the Selejko's was Melissa, so if this means she's finally coming back to Salem where she belongs I'll happily take it. Sophia is at least entertaining amidst Rachel Boyd's "out of this world" performances. I think if the baby happened to pass away, Sophia would truly go over the deep end. Plus, I don't want Tate or Johnny/Chanel to get him.
  16. It's hilarious it's all to sell shoes, but I'm not complaining.
  17. I looked it up from Jason47's site. His one episode as Jerry Baldwin aired April 11, 1986.
  18. Even though they don't have much history together, it was still nice to see Tony have a scene with someone who debuted before this last decade. Plus, his scenes with Maggie made him feel more human, with no traces of wondering if Andre still lurks beneath. Maggie herself was used wonderfully, being the true head of the Kiriakis family, no matter how weird that will always sound to me. Though I did find it funny when I remembered that technically Alex has actually been a part of the Kiriakis family longer than all of them. I hope Mark is coming back to Salem. I could see EJ hiring him for the free clinic and when whatever EJ is actually planning comes out, he'll use Mark as his fall guy. You just know the gala is going to be budget city, but since we know some Hortons are returning for it, I'm not going to care. Bring it on!
  19. Okay, but imagine if they had Tracy react to Sonny/Carly, like Alexis did at Kristina's funeral. Might be worth it.
  20. I think Ken Corday probably just has stock in post-it notes.
  21. The only thing that talks in this world is money. I'm happy people came together and made a difference the only way they could. Can't wait to see Jimmy Kimmel's returning monologue.
  22. That punch Holly threw Tate's way was a shock for me, especially the fact that it was actually well-directed and looked like it hurt. Holly was channeling her inner Emma Roberts. Sophia really did look and act like much more of an outright bad-girl today. I kind of loved when she blatantly told Johnny his actions basically ruined her life. No minced words there. Of course, Rachel Boyd gave her typical hilarious performance. What an interesting find she is. I also laughed when Brady was advising Tate and threw in a "would it kill you to focus on your studies" line. It seemed too real for this show, but little things like that are appreciated. Brady and Rafe's scene was a good beat to play. I don't know if it's because they both started at the same time, but I felt a strong connection between them. It felt almost nostalgic from their era of the show. Marlena stated she was beginning to feel better. Does this mean her "illness" storyline is over? Marissa Reyes did good supporting work today and looked great sporting a different hair-style. The show has done a good job at taking their time building her up. I have faith she'll be quite good when they give her more to do, presumably with this internship and my speculation about her and Theo. I will say, I was disappointed to not get follow up about the man showing up to Steph and Alex's door. I need to know if we really do have another Horton in our midst. Plus, only knowing about the upcoming blackout from the promo title (can't watch to remain as spoiler-free as possible), I wrongly assumed it would start today, too.
