  1. Randomly walked past Al Calderon this afternoon. We were both with a friend of our own. I didn’t bother him, but he looked just as good in person.
  2. I need to know who the hell the fine ass man is at 0:37. Damn!
  3. I forgot to add, Tony only having scenes with the newbies is disappointing. I need to see him with Marlena and Kate, at the very least.
  4. Please, the fact this show got a new set at all is a welcome dream and a prayer. This, plus the courtroom set, and hallway? Better than we could have ever expected with their dismal budget.
  5. Sorry for bringing up a tired topic, though I'll always find it endlessly interesting, but has anyone ever pinpointed the last time Maggie/Marlena were treated as proper friends before their obvious falling out. Also, with the infamous stone cold hug during John's memorial, can anyone enlighten me on what issues may have occurred between Deidre Hall and Kristian Alfonso. Discussion surrounding those episodes was genuinely the first time I'd ever heard of anything. More on that, do you think politics could play a role? We know Deidre Hall is a democrat without question, so the rumoured non-Democrats in these very visceral political times with several actress Deidre Hall hasn't shared much screen-time with could play a part, or maybe I'm just bloviating.
  6. Even if you don't like what DAYS has become , today's scenes with Julie and Marlena were wonderful for any longtime fan, and we even got an indirect Liz mention. Julie owning the bookstore will hopefully mean she'll get to interact with different characters and even insert herself in their business from time to time. The reveal I have been waiting for and it didn't disappoint. I, and I'm sure many others, guessed Rachel was the shooter, but that didn't and doesn't take away from how entertaining and watchable this story has been from start to finish. Even though I guessed from the outset, it didn't feel predictable. The journey was more than worth it. I think this story has done great things for Johnny, Chanel, Marlena, EJ, and Belle. I'm calling Who Shot EJ? a hit for this viewer. Let's hope we'll have many more to come. Billy Flynn again looked hot as hell. I thought him and Cat finally had chemistry again in this episode. Cat being fired let go from the hospital was a nice obstacle that I'm interested to see how she'll get herself out of. Looking at the guest credits, Philip we'll be seen again this week, but I want to add to wishing we saw more of him, a burgeoning Shawn/Jada relationship, and JJ, too. I think Philip/Gwen could be really interesting, personally. And I still want JJ involved with Gabi amidst her current story. However, I forget the exact scene and day, but I almost got the feeling they foreshadowed Gabi's death at one point. And don't worry about me, because I've absolutely been fast-forwarding those useless Leo scenes to maintain a seamless watch experience.
  7. With the Brookside news, I think I'll probably tune into the anniversary episodes. Sure, it'll be batsh*t insane, but I think I can manage if I just return to watching for a short while. Ste will be as unbearable as ever, I'm sure.
  8. Also, Amy Yasbeck (DAYS) will be a contestant with Jason Ritter and other members of the Ritter family on an upcoming Celebrity Family Feud episode, hosted by Andy Richter. You can see her in the behind the scenes clip below:
  9. A Murder Between Friends - Directed and starring Jacob Young (B&B, GH, AMC) and Trent Garrett (AMC). Also starring, Nadia Bjorlin (DAYS) and the great Joan Collins (GL). The trailer came out in November, but the film has yet to be released. However, with the more prestige production of The Bitter End, where Joan Collins leads playing Wallis Simpson and a third project in the works, being in her 90s doesn't seem to be slowing the legend down any time soon. Here's the trailer:
  10. I could see Vanessa becoming more of a villain soon enough. All speculation and what ifs, but if Joey ends up offing Doug, Joey could put Vanessa in the frame, she becomes irate and shoots Joey in retaliation, but not wanting to go down for his murder, attempted or otherwise, she soon learns about the Martin secret and blows it sky high to put the Duprees in the frame, finagling her way to freedom, but at the cost of becoming the new town pariah. However, by this point she's absorbed Joey's business as her own, and all the power that comes with it. I feel like this whole story has been building her up to accepting her nefarious nature.
  11. Watching X-Men: The Animated series with adult eyes has been fascinating. As a child, I only remembered little snippets here and there, so being that I've never kept with much of anything superhero, most of these plots are basically totally new to me. The last I watched was S2E9, and I had no idea Rogue had such a strong connection to Carol Danvers. Totally blew my mind, and was one of the strongest episodes so far.
  12. He's been begging on his Insta to return to GH for ages. The man has no pride.
  13. Is Jack Wagner on contract?
  14. I actually don't mind him for the most part, but I wouldn't miss him if he left.
  15. Sami's last return was well done, so I'm excited to see what she brings next week for however long she'll be around. I'm down to see where this obvious mess with Sarah will lead for Brady, because the show is quite clearly portraying Xander/Sarah as endgame. However, when Brady does get a proper love interest, with the way he has been through it time and again (the biggest slut in Salem by far), it needs to be written more maturely. It could be interest if she was a colder woman, where life hasn't been kind to her and somehow Brady is able to break down her barriers and see happiness can be possible. Bringing in Kate was a good start, but I've been waiting for this book story to get interesting and now it finally has for me. Michael Roark as Jeremy Horton is perfect casting, so I'm strongly hoping that's the case, where I feel confident that he'll be written with more care. Anyway, I have every faith they're just jerking us about Stefano, so I'm all in with whatever they're planning. I do find it funny how Cwikly had a similar plot point in her original run that turned out to be Tony, who we later learned a few HWs later was actually Andre.
  16. He looks like another soap actor in that picture, but I can't put my finger on it right now.
  17. It's looking more and more likely Michael Roark will be playing Jeremy Horton, and I couldn't be more enthused. Roark seems like perfect casting for the part, if so, and since he debuts in October, I can rest assured this is purely a Cwikly/Ford move. I very much look forward to his debut.
  18. Is there a thread for Michael Roark's casting?
  19. Which is exactly my point. Why aren't the writers changing their plans like they should be and like they always did in the past when actors decide to move on, especially in the case of Billy Flynn and Chad? They always did it in the past without question. Can you imagine the show recasing Marlena, Bo, and Hope just because the actors chose to leave, but they "still had plans?" It's ridiculous.
  20. I wonder if the ridiculous taping schedule mixed with the non-existent budget is the reason the show has been so recast happy. I hated all the unnecessary recasts during Carlivati's tenure, but I just figured that was partly due to his ego, and maybe it still was. However, with Cwickly/Ford now recasting Javi, along with Chad, it really must be a dismal situation, beyond just ego or even laziness, that these writers can't take the opportunity to rest characters and re-write the stories, which could lead to a whole host of new possibilities. Alas, creativity is dead! Someone insert an intelligent thought provoking quote about stifled creativity here!
  21. Leftovers: Pasta (penne with meat sauce), the last baked chicken drumstick, and a half corn on the cob.
  22. Tomas is a weasel. I hope they blow his trifling ass out of the water sooner rather than later so we can rid ourselves of the worst actor on the show. Haley had a moment where it looked like she realized the man Bill really way, but had to save face to keep her nefarious plans in check. I predict she'll be much more fun to watch when she's able to unleash her real self. With the scene today, I don't think Haley knows who June is, or at least genuinely doesn't recognize her. However, the person Naomi is going to meet might be the same person Haley was mysteriously talking to earlier this week.
