I think it beat OLTL in actual 18-49 numbers for the past 2-3 weeks of ratings.

They were closed in NYC on Friday, 3rd biggest snow storm ever in the city. I don't know if I see bumps (it seems apparent total viewership went down for a few from that release) but last weeks weather probably did delay the falls back to a more normal range for another week.

Unfortunately, it seems the GH goal for the past year or two has been to alienate the longtime viewers enough that they'd leave. The new young base will stick around while their favorite are together now, but will they stay for the long haul is the real question. With all the abusive & dysfunctional relationships being shown on GH every week, it's a wonder they have rebounded lately.

GH is always like the Phoenix, it rises from the ashes every time.

I have always felt that only Days and GH have a passionate fanbase that seems to be "built in". They are either passed down from mother to daughter, ect or have an audience that WILL come back when the show interest them. They really are the legacy "name" shows left on daytime.

I used to feel that way about Y&R, but I really think that the lunch time timeslot affects that show's ratings more than anything, and the fact that it's "older" skewing audience is set in their ways.

AMC's resurgence has surprised me but I don't expect it to last.

For all the online and soap mag criticism, the fall out from Sonny shooting Dante has been a boon for GH. The viewers have stuck around for the whole of February sweeps.

Y&R's demos also continue to be strong. They should have made sure that the Adam reveal happened during sweeps and build to his murder in May sweeps.

I'm disappointed that AMC's demos continue to be weak.
