They shouldn't make Kate leave, I like Koslow but they do need to expose her for everything she has done and then mabye she finds a man to comfort her. I would really like to see that.

14. Farah Fath/Mimi - I would let this storyline run its course and also her contract, but when 2008 or late 2007 rolls around and the story has played out, I would cut her. Let her leave town. In congruence with the rest of this list, she'd be the last Lockhart gone by that point. But she should definitely leave after this storyline. Fath just goes through the motions now. She's so lifeless in scenes its ridiculous. Not to mention, the character of Mimi SUCKS. Everyone begged and begged for Fath to get a story, including myself. And ever since the day two years ago when Mimi started bleeding from her crotch, I and mostly all other DAYS fans have been regretting wanting a bigger story for her. She sucks. LET HER GO! And *NO* re-cast. Just see this story out and send her on her way!

I totally agree with you all on the Kate/Koz love. The day DAYS fires her is the day when DAYS has officially made its DUMBEST casting move EVER - except maybe letting Sorel and Mascolo go. She's the Queen of Salem. She has like seven kids - more kids that Alice and Marlena. She's my favorite matriarch on the show. Not to mention, Koslow has pretty much proved repeatedly that she can act circles around Dee and Kristian and Reeves - not taking anything away from them - but that's just how good she is!

Brody Hutzler - Never liked him, did not have any real character development.

Jason Cook - Since he wants to leave, tie up loose ends with Shelle and Shimi, NO recast!

Kyle Brandt - Wants to leave, no recast for now.

Matt Ashford - already fired, but I would have kept him.

Martha Madison - Belle can go work in the Basic Black Paris office after the end of Shelle.

Austin Peck - either recast or completely axe the character.

I don't think Kate should go anywhere. Lauren Koslow is one of the best actresses on the show. Why does everyone want Grandpa Shawn gone? I like him and I think he is very important to the show.

Hogan is rumored to love Farah and I've heard that she has a huge storyline coming up which does not involve the others.

Can someone please explain to me what it is people see in Fath? That's the 2nd writer we've heard that "loves" her (Boof being the other). Wouldn't you think they'd gravitate toward the actors who can, you know, act? The people who could bring life to their words?

I don't mean to attack her personally. Fath is very cute and has amazing bosoms and I'm sure she's a cool person, but as an actor she's just horrible. I'm continually surprised by how many people seem to love her. I guess my question is this: Do her fans see her as a bad actor and just love her anyway or do you see something in her performances I'm missing? (Serious question, btw)

Sometimes, just SOMEtimes, I think Fath is on. Unfortunately, it's rare. And hasn't happened in months. If not, a year.

Mimi: FF isn't a strong actress, and if Hogan loves her this show is headed in the wrong direction. I can't see FF be a leading or supporting actress, in a storyline. She does better, as the best friend role.

Austin and Carrie return was a flop, and they aren't the same couple as they were in the 90's. I think Austin and Carrie will have thir fair-tale ending, and they will ride off into the sunset together. There will be a Lucas/Sami/EJ triangle, and Belle might be thrown into into. MM is 29, and NEEDS to be giving a more mature storyline. BY throwing her with this quad, you can do so much, because its something NEW, and never been explored.

Chelsea: RM has improved, by she has overstayed her welcome. Good-bye!

Roman: There s nothing for HIM, he might be bump to recurring, but I really don't see HOgan give Roman anything.

I am not sure about all that Jean. If Days gets rid of those you mentioned, I am very worried about the show. I am not buying any of that. Maybe some but as a whole no.

Well, I don't write for the show and frankly, wouldn't know how to begin. But if, say I had the power, I'd keep Steve and Kayla, Caroline and Shawn Sr. (on recurring), Victor, Bo and Hope, Jack, Chelsea and Abby guess throw Stephanie in there and Max, EJ, Sami and Lucas AND Kate, Marlena and John, then of course Alice and Maggie on recurring. All the others could just go off on their own. Then write stories and create the characters as needed to play out the story. So that is the way I really feel about the characters. Frankly, I think once a beloved character returns for a story, when they are done with that story, they should be sent packing again. There is too much trying to accommodate those who are no longer useful...for instance Roman (much as I adore him).

As far as the other post, that is what seems to be coming from putting all the stuff I've read and heard together....I did check and see that Drake is up in 2008...weird because last time I checked, it was 2007. Maybe he extended for a year for some reason.

Oh, I forgot to mention. It seems that Farah has a number of influential fans and am not either particularly fond of her or particularly not fond of her. I think she is gorgeous to look at and I love her earthiness. She is a person who usually blurts right out what she thinks and I love that....writing her keeping a secret is not appealing and not true to the personality of that type character. What I wanted to mention is that she reminds me a lot of Lucille Ball in I Love Lucy. She was not a great actress either, but folks adored her.

ITA!! Carrie hasn't learned her lesson. Austin fought for her, but Carrie stupidly chose Lucas, and now she feels commited to him because she is "pregnant." Personally I hope Austin and Lucas tell Carrie she can kiss their asses once the truth comes out. She played them both.
