Eh, I don't know. I almost enjoy Lauren's "underdog" placing on the show. She's given decent airtime without overexposure, and she's often handed more daring storylines, because Kate's seen as a character the writers can take real risks with---without causing an uproar. I don't mind her flying under the radar, I just hope that Mr. Sheffer is willing to break her out of the funk Reilly's placed her in post-Jate. Her need to protect her children has been totally exaggerated, and thereby, has marginalized a character that is probably the most versatile the show has (next to Sami).

Mimi is getting her own storyline? What could they possibly do with her without Shawn and Belle?

Deidre Hall will never be released from the show unless she wants to leave. She is too much of a core character in Salem and I don't think Corday has the balls to fire the show's gem. That would be like AMC releasing Susan Lucci. It just wouldn't happen unless Dee is ready to move on.

I think it would be a major mistake for them to get rid of Ashley Benson. I think she's going to be HUGE in a couple of years. She can act and she's absolutely gorgeous. Find her an actor with the right chemistry and I think she'll be an "it" girl just like Kayla, Hope and Jennifer were in their early days. My guess/hope is that TPTB are just biding their time until the actress is old enough to handle a big romantic story with Max (or someone even better we haven't met yet).

But the, I think it was a major mistake to let Matthew Ashford go, so what do I know?
