Oh wow, that was so sad. :(

Aaron did so much for to television and I think it's only fitting that his memorial should be televised for his fan to watch and honour him.

Some of my fave shows ever were down to him. RIP, Aaron. :(

Go Fug Yourself also did their own multi-tribute (you have to scroll down a little for it):

Wonderful tribute.

I have to say, these people have more of a grasp on Aaron's legacy than TVLand does. How are they paying tribute to him? By showing the episode of "I Love Lucy" that he guest-starred on and an hour-long documentary that had a 15 minute segment on him.

Screw that, I want a marathon of most of his shows!

Yeah, I was surprised by TV LAND. They own rights to quite a few of Spelling's shows, what is the deal?

Go Fug Yourself wants an Aaron Spelling network to air all his shows. Mod Squad, Charlie's Angels, Hart to Hart, Love Boat, Dynasty, The Colbys, 90210, Melrose, Malibu Shores, Sunset Beach, Pasadena, etc., etc. He certainly had enough archive to make up a week's Primetime schedule.

I've been chanting this for a long, long time. Aaron has more than enough shows to program a full schedule. As a matter of fact, I've tried numerous times to make a schedule for an Aaron cable channel, but I always have to leave shows out because there's just so much.

I would try to put his 70s crime dramas in the late morning/early afternoon, put SuBe right in its old NBC timeslot, put his more teen-oriented shows (Family, Charmed, 7th Heaven, 90210) in the afternoon, and put his really big hits in primetime (maybe a four-hour primetime block of Dynasty, Love Boat, Charlie's Angels, and Melrose Place).

The weekend would be chock-full of all of the awesome short-lived shows he did throughout his career.
